My girlfriend has been avoiding the gym because she is usually not sure what exercises she wants to do. I told her the results I've gained have been strictly from following your workouts and I was able to get her to come to the gym today. We did this routine together and she absolutely killed it :) Thank you for your videos! I'm going to keep using your routine for a year and see how far it gets me. Would you be willing to do videos on a couple's workout?
Girl your glutes are growing, there looking strong. I know this takes a lot of hardwork, so good job 👏 don’t stop putting that work in 👌 super motivational 💖
@@mggmegan it's ok if you use it for a burn out after a heavy leg n glute session but no if you want it for heavy weight then no good! But they aren't the main booty builder so much more you can do to build those glutes😊
@@Entrapturing the pad will sit in the same place as it does using this machine on the video, the hamstring curl machine in my gym feels quite heavy when I use it at the end of my leg session, I can simulate the exact same movement as on this video maybe we are talking about a different machine here i will use the lay down hamstring curl machine because the pad will sit across the hips like on here and place your hands on top so it doesn't roll and to create more resistance, but yeah failing that just do them with a barbell and plates as normal its just a good way to get a good glute burn out and pump when the gym is busy or I'm short on time etc 😀
I went shoeless once, once, and that was the day I dropped a 25 lb plate on my right foot😱. I did this because I was trying to be quiet because my baby was sleeping. It just had to be that day out of all lol😬🤪 I always like how your so detailed in your videos and you even list of workouts. I find this so helpful because Im always going back to your work outs. I also like how you once responded to me when I had a question, other fitness UA-camrs never do this. 💕💕to you and your channel.
Ouch!😖 I’ve definitely had my fair share of weight accidents too lol it happens! But thank you for the sweet comment about the videos💕 I try my best to respond/help as much as I can and will continue to as long as possible. It does take a lot of time out of my day at times but I only do this to help others, doesn’t mean much if you aren’t actually helping/responding to those who watch you for guidance! Thanks again☺️💕
I came to the realization that I shouldn’t take a man’s advice on leg day because golly gosh darn y’all got it figured out 😂 did it for the first time today and boy let me tell you this is going to grow my booty 🥴😈
Yeah, that’s fine! It depends on the superset being used but for SS likes these It’s mostly just a way of getting more done in a shorter amount of time with exercises that won’t impact each other negatively. It can also increase the intensity of an overall workout bc you’re doing more in a shorter amount of time. Regardless, you can definitely do them all as straight sets if you’d like and have the extra time💪
I’m a tad late to your comment but smith machine is a great alternative! If not, you can use a barbell or dumbbells. Even swap for barbell or DB glute bridges if you wanted. Whatever you have access too!🤍
Love your vids and youre looking so good! Such an inspiration and your vids motivates me since im aiming to improve my strength rn :) I like doing single rdls on the smith machine! Where are your legging from?
That is all going to be trial and error starting out. Start with bodyweight and then slowly add weight little by little until you feel like it is still controllable but challenging for the reps given. Keep track of the weights being used in your phone or a notebook so you know where you’re at each week and when you make strength progressions as weights will get lighter as you get stronger💪 & this focuses on hams and glutes but you will indirectly work other muscles on certain movements as well.
Does someone have to help you with the bar on the frog pumps? If you have it tied back so it doesn’t lock I’m trying to figure out how you’d get set up with your feet underneath the bar while you’re lying down ?! 🤣🤦🏽♀️
Nope! You just get into position on the bench and just put your feet under the bar and push it up. You can then fix your feet position once you have the bar up higher. Seems complicated but when you do it it’s really easy to get into place💪
Make sure you aren’t going past the point where your glutes are fully contracted! Any further and you will create hyperextension of your lower back which can then cause discomfort or pain there. Notice the point in which I stop when I perform them in the video and see if you’re able to pinpoint what I am talking about and adjust your range of motion💪
I do what’s called powerbuilding so all of my sessions are a mix of heavy, moderate, and light loads with a main compound focus lift and then accessory/isolated work to follow. I follow a program I write for myself for 4-5 weeks and then switch things up to new progressive overload goals so I don’t ever hit a plateau.
No. You have to give your body time to progress with what you are doing. You never want to switch every single thing up everytime you train a certain muscle group, especially if your goals are to build strength and your overall performance. You need goals and you need a plan to target those goals. You’re body won’t plateau for at least 4-5 weeks doing the same program. So then to avoid the possibility of hitting a plateau after this amount of time you can switch things up. This could be the overall exercises, the sets/reps, weight loads, etc.
Hunter is the G.O.A.T. when it comes to videos and knowledge.
Hunter, please come out with a DVD or workout program!
Thank you!😆💪

That’s awesome!! I’m glad she went with you! & Thanks for the video suggestion💪
It's great being supportive to her
I literally hate loading and unloading plates for hip thrust! It's like 3 minutes of prep for 8 reps >_< Wish we had that machine!
Same !! I get more tired when I set everything up, specially when I need to carry a heavy o’ bench
IMO the machine just isnt the same
I have grown my glutes only because of your workout videos....each n every video is bang on target babe.....thanks babe

Try using the hamstring curl machine it's a good substitute

killer just Luv the variety Hunter gives ya -- what a Bad Azz
what should I do if my gym don't have the Smith Machine, plis anyone tell me what to do?
Wide stance DB squats and reverse frog hypers off a bench💪
@4:14 does it matter that you go down to a slight angle with the dumbbell instead of straight down?
Like the DB not being directly perfect straight in front of my leg? Yeah, that doesn’t matter.
@@HunterChilton Okay thank you! I am new to lifting so just want to make sure it's not a form issue if i happen to not go at an angle.
How does a beginner know how heavy to go? Also, silly question, but do these work the lower legs at all or just the hammies and booty? :)
That is all going to be trial and error starting out. how often should do u lift heavy and light for legs? do u keep the same routine or u switch up ?
