Wow !! This turned out great.. And your paint job is 99.9% spot on.. Fantastic work my friend... This should sell quickly..👍
Yours is the best built Airwolf kit I've seen. It was breathtaking. (Insert the Airwolf theme).
Very nice build. I'm considering buying this kit, and your video has been very informative. I even learned a couple of tricks from your 2-part series!
One point of education: On a helicopter, they're called rotors, not propellers. :)
Great turn out for Airwolf! The base on this one really makes it come to life with the 80's theme.
A thing of beauty 👍🇬🇧🌈
Amazingly well done sir!!!!!!!!!!
(except one details I've noticed: the tail position light is not supposed to be red but should be white)
Phenomenal! I wish I had you talent and skill.
the color is spot on!
Amazing job. thanks for the video, brother.
He did a decent job on the paint
kinda makes you want to go out and rob a bank or something just to be chased!! Great job.
Great job !! Looks amazing😊😊😊
Your bases are always the best part :D Great job!
I usually have trouble coming up with base ideas but came up with this one early…was so excited about the idea I painted it before building the model:)
Beautiful work. Really lovely. Makes me want to build and paint one myself. Doubt I’d do as good a job as you did.
Looks beautiful. You get the colors right too. It pains when people build these kits and then paint it in ordinary black color which is not correct at all.
Great job - iam building it right now, and yes , its difficult to paint and mask off
Wicked......now do Blue Thunder
Is there a kit of one?
@@seanerk5kt9 As it happens Aoshima did one in 1/48 but they are rather pricey based on what I've found on eBay. Would make a great companion piece alongside Airwolf though.
@@seanerk5kt9 yup.....aoshima or the old man scale monogram kit
Fantastic result
Happy new year young man to you and the family
Happy new year!
You can let Vallejo putty dry and remove it with cotton bud but with IPA, not water. Works better and allow to control the surface better so less sinked area.
Great work on the Lady, surely the best looking helicopter of all time. My local model shop has had this kit in for ages, I may just have to buy it after seeing the job you've done on her. Once again, the fact I'm in the UK has saved me some money as I would definitely have bid on this...
I wasn’t expecting it to be as good as it was but It’s a really nice kit
Great Job Sir. Now you need to build her a sister 😅
Very nicely done!🏆👍
Excellent build buddy she looks a beauty
Beautiful results mate 😉👍
Great work
Outstanding work
Happy New Year hope all is well
Happy new year!
Looks great.
Honestly, there’s no difficulty shipping internationally. USPS is just fine and a great price, albeit a little slow.
Hi Sean. I was skeptical about a „other than black“ top side of airwolf, but turned out you were right once again. I found some bright daylight pictures where airwolf indeed wasnt pure black. Second hint have been the pilot’s helmet which are exactly that metallic dark gray you you painted the top side. I have doubts the production team choose too much different colors… Last but not least from the filming perspective a non-black color has more flexibility. It can be black (slightly underexposed) but i cn show details if needed. E.g. KITT was indeed pure gloss black and you hardly could make out some details other that the outline in most scenes. Very good job here!
That's a nice paint job. I always struggle a bit to get a good even gloss finish, like on a model car. I am much happier with a matt finish. Also a very clean masked line over a lot of detail, not easy.
If you buy Dymo embossing label Tape from the old hand held label printers, it gives a firmer base to rivet along. I have one of these in my stash.. lots of internal decals too.. great job on this wolf
I got some for scribing…I’ve got some better stuff called Hi-Q tape too. Riveting such a small area, I can usually get away with just regular tape as a guide.
Cool model. 👍
Looks good! Getting the basics right is so much more difficult than non-modeling people could ever know. I always try to make a good, basic model, & if successful, then I move on to make it better. FYI: in helicopter-speak, it’s a “rotor blade” or “rotor”, not “propeller”. However, the rear blade assembly could be referred to as “propeller”. Also, most US Military members call a helicopter a “helo” (heal-ō), not “chopper” like in the movies. Keep up the great work!
Did you know that MicroMark sells a raised rivet detail kit? I haven't used it but I've seen it in their catalog. Secondly, why sell it on eBay? Why not keep it? What did it end up selling for?
Did you consider purchasing a Stringfellow Hawk pilot for the cockpit? Looks wonderful.
Didn’t know there was such a thing
@@seanerk5kt9 I've seen your incredible work on the Shuttle, the SR-71, the F-14A's. I believe you would have the talent to kit bash with green stuff to create Hawk. Etsy would be my choice to start. Just a thought.
Very nice outcome.. but wasn't the Bell 222 Airwolf heli painted dark blue?
According to what I’ve found it was painted Phantom Gray Metallic (DuPont Imron 5031X)
@@seanerk5kt9 You're right, just looked it up,, it's odd, the model I built back then, it was Dk blue on the box. I was misled.. plus my model was a 1/48, yet it was smaller than your model. Looks like a 1/32.. Sure would love to have one again.
thats nice and all, but can it go mach 1?
It theoretically can if I put it in a jet that goes Mach 1.
Swanky!
Yes it is;)
😢😢 lastima que el resultado final es hermoso solo si alguien profesional y con la herramienta adecuada lo hace, yo lo hize y quedó hecho una porquería 😥😥☹️
Who says you cant hear a picture!
