What do you mean there's going to soon be a real air wolf I'd like to know if they're actually gonna build a real helicopter that works there that works although it probably can't do mock one but in air air combat with jets technically you don't need mark 1
@@PitstainHobbies looking forward to a video once you figure out what’s going on with it. I just purchased the cobalt blue version and it was stated the rotors do not work. I can live without them working but if I can get them working that would be cool.
I'm still waiting on the recent kickstarter airwolf that uses magnets for the removable parts and scales with 3.75" and 4" figures. They had multiple tiers, and for the DIY version and various figures I backed, they originally anticipated delivery for April 2022.
I paid on ebay for the kit, supposedly being shipped in july. This month marks 2 years ago. I contacted Mars industries they said they’d be shipped out as built. No refund and no 1/18 scale Airwolf. They took my money and ran and no longer respond to email
We diagnose and discover the problem with the rotors not moving in this video ua-cam.com/video/JQBnZXL3cEw/v-deo.html I will do another video on the repair process once the replacement gear is here.
I have not built the plastic model of this but many others have, I would suggest searching youtube for build videos of the model to get an idea of the ins and outs.
I luckily just found the cobalt blue copy (the regular version) on Amazon for $99 shipped. The seller stated up front that the rotors are not working, but everything is included in the box.The rotors seem to be a common issue. But for display I can live without them not working. Or maybe I’ll tinker with it and see if I can get them rotating again. Not sure why they did it one in cobalt blue. It still looks cool and for $99 I had to jump on it. Love the weathered version in the video and glossier black version as well. Can’t justify spending what they go for now though.
I remember Airwolf, used to watch it on TV back in the 80's, I also like Blue thunder too...
Same here and if you like Blue Thunder then please subscribe and you may get a treat soon!
Beautiful
Thank you!
Probably the best official toy made to date
Tiny but fabulous detail! Now to rip it apart and fix it.

@@BreezeBand999 Oh I figured out the problem and have a replacement gear on the way to repair it ua-cam.com/video/JQBnZXL3cEw/v-deo.html
They should made the plastic model a finished model . It’s far better than the old diecasf
it possibly would have been even more costly, built scale models have alot more manufacturing labor involved vs. a diecast model.

I also backed the Kickstarter for a DIY kit to custom paint and possibly add light and sound effects.
