I wouldnt have believed it but... wow that was awesome. Those horn stabs are just great. I love the spin they put on an all-time-favorite song. So good.
I saw Fishbone at Lallapooza 93 or 94. To this day they had one of the best stage performances I have ever seen. I thought I was going to die in the pit during Swim.
Wow. That Bloody Awesome..and their Original Lineup too!
I remember seeing Fishbone in a scuzzy club in Portland in the late 80s. People were throwing shit up on stage and the singer picks up a shoe and says “Nike? We only do Vans” (paraphrased, it’s been a few years).
Fish is one of the best drummers that ever be.

@@DiegoMedina74 truly true
If I had to respond to this with 3 words I’d say “very, very true” oh wait that’s 2; “really, very true”

The drums for RHCP's 'Taste The Pain' was Fish.
Did fishbones have a modernized breakdown of a grunge classic? This is art
yes! Fishbone's best metal songs, Sunless Saturday, Servitude, Swim, and End the Reign .. didn't have horns!!! They fixed it here!
agreed!
So nice to see them still rocking the funk!!! Back to the housework now...
Fishbone slaughtered "them bones" my hat's off to you guys
And their harmony is almost perfect
How the hell can anyone downvote this?! It's brilliant. Fishbone haven't lost a step in 30 years, and this is an amazing reimagining of a classic.
Fishbone are massively underrated. They nailed this cover all while making it their own as well.
Love Fishbone y'all! I saw them long ago in 1993 at The Edge in Ft Lauderdale, they played with NOFX. Great show, i even partook on a doobie with Angelo Moore on a Fishbone break, good times!
If 2020 had to happen just to make this possible, it was all worth it.
Fishbone absolutely kills this. I haven't listen to them since the 90's - seems they have only gotten better with age! This cover and the Dallas Green cover of 'Rain when I die' are the highlights of this incredible tribute to AICs.
This so works... omg... never underestimate the Fishbone
Truly jaw-dropping cover. I didn't watch this when it first came out but I've been going back and watching AIC's unplugged and got recommended this. WHAT ENERGY!!
You know a song is amazing when it can be translated all sorts of different ways and still kick ass
This was incredible. Such groove, vocal chops, and vibrancy. Them Bones reimagined.
Fishbone nailed it
Dig deep folks...Fishbone is worth the effort. Crushed it!!
Wow. Respect to Fishbone.
I just shed tears...knowing the history of these 2 bands...WHEW!!! THANK YOU!!!
So awesome. If Fishbone does a cover, they always make it something completely their own while not disrespecting the original. I would listen to pretty much any cover they wanted to do.
Fishbone Familyhood member checking in! Can't believe I haven't seen this awesome performance until now. This was such a flavorful cover! Excellent!
one of the greatest bands of all time, appreciate them all the time , same energy since the 80s , glad they are still around , fckin love fishbone
Fishbone for life!
I didn't know I wanted to hear Fishbone cover Alice in Chains until it happened.
This was just a pure shot - incredible. That whole show was great with a couple of exceptions, but this stood out. These guys are not only great musicians but music fans - like AIC put through an Ornette Coleman filter.
That metaphor with Ornette Coleman is brilliant.
been watchin you since 80.. you put EVERYONE to shame who dares to try to compare...
pity the band who lets you cover them....
Fishbone is such a beautiful band. I love those guys.
Wow. I'm currently in church rocking to this. I've forgotten just how good a band Fishbone is. Their cover of the Curtis Mayfield classic Freddie's Dead is awesome as well.
