Corey is ridiculously talented. He can not only scream and growl with the best of them but also has an excellent singing voice. And it seems like he's able to cover anything pretty well.
I'm not saying he's not a good singer or this cover sucks, because he's so versatile and he has nothing to prove but in my humble opinion (which means nothing) I think Ripper Owens has a better job singing Rainbow and Corey can't hit Dio's vocal range, in the other hand I think Taylor and Stone Sour kicked ass with Tallica's Creeping death.

What I find odd is that even Corey Taylor, a very talented rock vocalist cannot sing with the same raw power of little, 120 pound Layne Staley. This isn't bad mixing. Layne would sing over the instruments with a microphone or not. A rare talent stolen from us. R.I.P. Layne and Mike

Only singer I ever listened who could make justice to an AIC song. Actually,.the only singer I can think of that can pick up an iconic song by an iconic singer and make them justice, and sometimes even make it better.
