Or maybe you want to get an early start on next year's dress... Or maybe- and most likely- you're just watching this video as a tool of procrastination and time-wasting and u have no intention of ever making a dress.

You know, what I like most about these tutorials is how easy she makes it seem, not sure if it would actually be, but it feels like I could do it. I've always been terrified of sewing for clothes for myself because I don't know how to use those premade patterns they sell. Her "screw-ups" definitely gives me "permission" for me to do it wrong sometimes too! Plus, her randomness makes way more entertaining than most sewing tutorials for sure!

My wife just recommended your channel to me because my 7 year old daughter has been cutting up an old blanket on the floor in the living room and they were trying to explain to me why. I didn't understand, but I was fully supportive of her creativity. I now fully understand, and am even moreso supportive. I hope my daughter's talent one day reaches something approximating yours. I'm an old man who doesn't understand what's going on, but i can tell that it's hard work and that you're good at it. God bless.

I made my daughter dresses out of: a pillowcase, a part of a duvet cover, one of her dad's old tshirts, and a shower curtain. But she's only 5, so pretty easy to please lol

I didn’t make any of these dresses even though I love them but I DID use the sweetheart neckline on the wrap dress to make Mia’s blue dress from La La Land. First time making a Micarah tutorial after watching her for a while and sewing for a while and it was so fun!! Can’t believe I haven’t done something similar sooner.

Once I talked to a guy at a party who happened to live in my neighbourhood. We were both drunk, so it was a little awkward afterwards. We sometimes saw each other on the street and saying hi got increasingly uncomfortable. One day I went for a walk and saw him walking in my direction in company of two dogs. I thought to myself that it was only gonna get worse and wanted to say something to break the cycle of looking away and mumbling hi, but I only had a few seconds to think of something. So as he walked past me I took a deep breath and said "wow, you have a lot of dogs!" He just said yeah. It's been a year and sometimes it still hits me right before I fall asleep.
Watching this knowing I won't get a prom since Covid hit during my Junior year in highschool and now my Senior year is almost at an end.
