You guys are a great match! I think you should start learning how to sew because I think it would really become a passion of yours, especially if you can create THAT without even knowing how to sew! I have to say I was a little skeptical how you would make the dress when you mentioned you could not sew...but the way you created Blake's dress. I got no words. Its not an identical replica but its pretty close. If I ever had a fancy dress event to go to, I would probably wear your dress. The mirrors and the rose gold paint just reallllllly went sooo well together. It looks fantastic. Id loveeee to wear a dress or create a dress with only the mirrors. It looked so painstakingly tough to make too. Awesome work!!!

Those dresses were so fun. If you want to learn to sew, a great way is to buy patterns for simple dresses. I bought a couple of pattern bundles on Etsy (I already had a machine) and am slowly making a wardrobe of new clothes. I did study design in high school so I’m not going in cold, but if you find some that are very simple pattern blocks (even boring like pj style outfits) you can learn pretty quickly. I actually started with knickers and a bralette and now most my underwear is handmade and piece by piece, I’ve added clothes to my wardrobe. It’s a personal project because I always loved fashion and I want to start a athleisure line, but am just learning the skills to make everything (I have made the designs). Some of my downloaded patterns even have commercial licences so when I’m ready I can just go and make the others to measure, until I finish the pattern making. that was a long comment and the first one but I’ve been watching your vids for a while and they’re so inspiring so I thought I would share. Simple dresses like the base dresses would be easy to learn to do! If you want to learn the ones I did I can tell you but it’s more fun if you just choose which ones you feel drawn to. 😊 x
