The Calamity was the embodiment of Ganondorf's hatred and was basically another of his puppets. In BotW if you look at the subtitles of each of the blights, they say "Scourge of [divine beast]". When you fight Calamity Ganon, it says "Scourge of Hyrule Castle", meaning that it was just another blight.
Additionally the eyeballs in the malice that would only open when Link was near them are identical to mummy Ganondorf, too, so they basically served as a creepy CCTV for Ganondorf while he was still bound under the castle.
It would certainly explain why Calamity/Dark Beast Ganon were so easy to beat!
This is such a good explanation thank you!!! I also very much noticed that Calamity Ganon was not even in the same league of difficulty as the Demon King. That was truly a difficult battle!
Great Playthrough! I really wish that at the end Link asked Zelda to marry him and she said "I thought you would never ASK".
By the way a human would die from hitting water at high speed but they are not human they are Hylians. If Link can survive litterally being chewed up and spit out by a Frox and survive bomb arrows at high speed, then he can survive water at high speed.
You did know ahead of time lady, you have fought Ganon many times before. That is what makes you the Hero of Time. 😅
The flurry exchange was just a new version of swatting the ball back and forth.

The thing about link diving in water. Link does not get damaged due to mipha watching over link. Which makes it even more amazing

@@VideogameShayPlaysits not because of mypha,her spirit alreadt passed on and her blessing disapeared with it... link is just build diferent(he did get dragged through like half a kilometer of stone with no injuries when ganondorf became a dragon)
The final dive is actually a clever illusion, and infinite. So you can't miss her and splat the princess :D

@@VideogameShayPlays I tried to...The one moment that Made me Cry was Zelda: Link, I'm home at 1:29:28. Somehow, I wish they had hugged in that scene. I am done with new ZELDA Games, the Epic Saga is OVER!

I was little bit dissapointied…I was hoping for a different ending where Zelda would have remained a dragon... I think it would have been a more touching ending.

And yes I had a bit of that sentiment as well - it took away a lot of the heavy emotions I was feeling for her to be able to change back and I almost thought she would remain this way and would be the next Farosh sort of Dragon. A constant reminder in the sky. But maybe that was too dark lol

I don't know man. I haven't seen this spectacle finale just yet, but I can fairly confidently assert that they still have yet to outdo the genius of "Majora's Mask". It comes very close for sure, but that was the only game to ever pull off time travel the right way. You'd have to beat it at its own game to best it in my book. Just my beat.
I will say that the time travel aspect in this one was very well done, writing committed to coming after my own heart, it is astonishing plotwise, but it is not an effective mechanic. "Majora's Mask" allowed for you to utilize time like a tool. It was the perfect game in my mind.
