I know Tears is not an easy game to stream, so thank you for taking time out of your day to do so. It was such a lovely experience, and I hope you enjoyed the game as much as we loved watching you play it. 🙏 I mean how cool was that dragon fight, and getting to save Zelda at the end when you couldn't in the beginning! 😭🤯 #GOTY

Before this year's game of the year deliberations I would like to request a mash cut of every time throughout the years it was asked, "where the hell is zelda?" / "why is it taking them so long" / "what could possibly take 6 years" because I'd say the wait paid off

I cried when I finished the game myself, and now I’ve cried watching you play. The music, the emotions, the use of Zelda’s Lullaby. My greatest game of all time. I also loved BG3, but Tears of the Kingdom was something else.

Kinda wish Mineru would have passed the spirit stone on to Purah at the very end.
For me this was one of the greatest final segments to a game ever.
I usually find final bosses a bit unsatisfying, but this one blew me away.
The Ganondorf fight was so enjoyable and each stage ramped up the tension and made things more epic.
I love the graphical style, but it hit another level during the dragon stage. The lighting design was fucking exceptional.
That god damn music during the dragon fight was beautiful, and it got even better as you chased down Zelda, especially when the fucking lullaby came in. Jeeeeeez
What a game.
This is by far my best experience playing a video game and maybe just in any form of media, everything from the story to the exploration and the different mechanics with work flawlessly, absolute masterpeice from Nintendo and I'm ready to see it win some awards in game of the year. cannot wait to see where this franchise goes in the future whether its better than totk or not.
It was so great to see you finish this game, as a person that hasn't played a Zelda game or even watched a play through before, it was magical to see the ending of such a great game and to have shared the journey with you and so many people, I had tears in my eyes by the end. well done Andy and can't wait for more play throughs like this.

In the actual secret ending, it goes about the same but its 3 seconds longer and you see Yunobo trip and fall to his death

@@TheAndyCortez Alright fair lol, but I'm just comparing it to backflips and side jumps which have a larger window and give you the flurry rush. So I never saw the point in parrying

1:07:03 You can actually hit these gloom things back with a sword. So, you have enough time to do a spin attack and remove them all and it becomes pretty satisfying when you do it.

@@TheAndyCortez sorry, It's a thing I've seen a bunch of Streamers/UA-camrs do, I guess it's just a thing that happens when you're not focussing 100% of your attention on playing the game itself.
The flurry/parrying timing on Ganon are super tight :(

I hate when ppl fuse to the Master Sword, it makes it look SO BAD. What were the developers thinking making the MS so WEAK and to make it so it has some wierd GHOST monster part attached to it? How cool would it have been if fusing to the sword just put glowing gold runes on it, shining through the light of the Master Sword at full power.
Or how cool would it have been that the Master Sword just does 60 or more damage on its own like the badass sword that's been gaining intense power over thousands of years to just be this piddly little thing that needs outside help to be strong.
It does 30 damage, higher than all(most?) unfused things in game, and against enemies that make it glow, it's doubled to 60 so you got your wish without even know, crazy coincidence🤪

I don't understand in all these UA-camrs videos fight agin Ganon I don't see anyone using the spin attack to send the red energy back to canon. I figured that our on my first play through.

@@TheAndyCortez sorry i was typing to fast lol. So in the fight against Ganon there are these red energy waves that surround link if you use a spin attack it will deflect back to Ganon and hurt him.
Kind of like the old school link to the past and Ocarina of time fights where you deflect with your sword

He didn't even get all the shrines. Theres even one in the castle.
As a professional shrine collector and semantics enjoyer, theres no shrine in the castle

Game is pretty in depth but yet lots of parts of the game are very barren , Game is super easy borderline ridiculous easy in lots of parts.. I give it a solid 8.5... Loved it so far but it should be harder

unfortunately nintendo insisting on bad graphic 2023 gamecube #5 consoles actually only makes it game of the month. it could be game of the century with next gen graphic engine. im a nintendo fan and im really sad that another great opportunity lost....
