perfect casting is extremely easy if you have hold m1 turned on btw, you can just hold m1 after casting a mantra and it will automatically perfect cast it for you 👍
I might be going crazy, but I've always clicked M1 before casting for the same effect, even in verse 1 before they made it so casting a mantra feints your M1. Also, isn't the white highlight effect the indicator for perfect casting? Testing with Eureka as lead me to believe that.

You know all of your videos since you've started making them have pointed out how absolutely terrible deepwoken is not just in the unbalanced combat since but also in the sense of absolutely nothing working. I think 80% of all talents are broken or don't function as they're supposed to. I feel like the developers just don't care anymore.
I hope to god it's because they're working on conquest, that game mode and the features that it comes with have supposedly been in the works for the longest goddamn time

One thing you didn’t look at is ether cost, and while it is inconsistent between mantras it can have a significant decrease in the % of ether a mantra takes (less effective with more modifiers) but looking at just your jolt grab with max modifiers it took 7% less ether but with the flame grab and max modifiers it only took 1% less, the ice smash also took 5% less, so it’s good in a sense, I’d rather perfect cast a lot of my moves so I can squeeze out another move with my ether than let it go to waste
if it was ether cost i would've mentioned it, what you're seeing is just eureka proccing lol i need that talent to even see that im perfect casting to begin with
@@1nteque no its not the windup that is faster, you can change how tornado is launched by perfect casting normally your tornado should stay in the same place for a few second before launching itself over to the target but im very sure with perfect casting, you can directly launch the tornado to the target without it staying in the same place

Actually there is one other good talent that benefits from it, it’s called ether conduit, combine it with eureka and it’s some good free damage at a very low stat investment

mantra feinting is always m1 + m2 you can't do it otherwise, some mantras allow you to cancel midway through by simply pressing m2 (rapid punches, blinding dawn)

Dude made a whole ass video saying something doesn't work because he did it wrong. The jolt/flame grab things aren't perfect casts, theyre outdated mantra variants which don't do much anymore. Perfect casting is m1ing then using a mantra during the m1, autofeinting the m1 and perfect casting the mantra, which DOES boost damage, posture, and speed.
Another bug that the dev won’t fix. How about a new legendary weapon with 5 aerial crit by pressing arrow keys
and make those crits hit you from 5 miles away with little to no regard for balancing, peak deepwoken

btw perfect casting wind blade will let you aim not only horizontally but vertically too (aka it will go to the direction where your cursor is)

You can perfect cast tornado to make it launch faster or stay in the same location before launching
no, this is all just placebo, i checked all of the mantras people said "launch faster" but i just actually can't measure any difference
