We have used all 3 of the most common ways to tow a vehicle. Which method do you prefer or would you prefer?
Chief your videos are always very informative and well produced. Keep up the good work and happy traveling.
Thank you very much my friend🙌🙌Hope all is well.
Car dolly price $3400
Flat towing price $6500 or $7500
So more money
Car dolly is good for me
Good video
Love, love, love my aluminum flat bed car hauler. It can accommodate any of our vehicles depending on where we are going and is so versatile. All of our vehicles have hitches so if I need to unhook and park in overflow parking, can easily do so with the car. Also have the process down to be able to load up and tie down in under 15 minutes and unload in 5. I’m like you and vastly prefer trailer towing over flat.
Sounds like a good set up🙌🙌 Thanks for sharing.
As always brother a great video with thorough information. And I loved seeing glimpses of some of the places we landed. The biggest thing about finding rv parks that can accommodate big rigs is preparation. Remember I had our reservations for our trip completed a year in advance. ❤
Glad you enjoyed it!
Wow! What great information. Great presentation too. We’re considering purchasing a 45’ motor home that can handle most anything. But, I think the stacker trailer is the way I see us going for many of the reasons you mentioned. We live in Texas so I need to do more research on length and weight.
Thanks so much for putting this out and for adding the links for convenience. I’m sure I’ll refer back here many times before we get settled on our decision.
Hey thanks for watching! Love those stacker trailers, you can just about carry your house in them😁
Great great video my wife and I have a 2004 Thor hurricane class A motorhome with the V 10 engine and we trailer tow a Fiat 500 on the trailer. We find this works the best for us and the type of travelling we do.
Sounds great! I like a trailer😁😁
Great info. Thank you for sharing.
Our pleasure!
Very good information put out there for the people. Great job Darryl
Much appreciated!
Good stuff. Would love to see a video of you installing the blue ox
Coming soon 🙌🙌
Great video, very informative
Glad it was helpful!
Excellent video!
Thank you very much!
Bravo! nice editing,till next time,
Thanks ✌️
Great Video.
Thanks!
We have used the tow dolly but agree it's not our preference. We now flat tow our Chevy Equinox and the various years of the ones we have towed are very easy, in fact not as many steps to go through before driving/towing off as you experience with a Jeep. We have a gas Class A and do have to preplan gas stops to maneuver the pumps and people who park in front of the building, seeing you can't back up.
Got it! I do wish we could back up at least some with a tow bar. I’m sure you encounter some tight spots at the pumps. All the best!
I like the trailer option more uses for the money. Being able to back is a big bonus as well.
Yes sir I agree!
Great information i've done a bunch of research myself my problem is I wanna take too many toys. I'd like to take a small vehicle. My side by side that is 11 foot long and my dresser. Figure that 1 out LOl
We thought about a motorcycle lift on the back. Pulling a trailer with the side by side and car inside What's your thoughts on that? I know length is a problem but I think a lot of people just go for it. We have a 34 foot gas motor home now. But are looking to upgrade very soon. definitely Diesel tag axle 42 43 foot long May have to just leave one behind.
I guess it just depends where we're traveling to.
Enjoyed your video. Thanks
Thanks for watching Ronald, yes sir with a lift on the back plus the trailer tongue weight I’d say you would need a tag axle for all that.
do you have a CDL?
No I don’t, some states require “special” license due to weight but my state does not. Texas is one such state. Thanks for watching🙌
