Thank you so much for this video! Ordered the same exact plug and it was incredible easy to change out. The instructions make it very simple. Thanks again!
Thanks for the video. I have the same plug on our Phaeton and it’s still good, but my 50 amp ext cord has pulled away. Didn’t know about the Camco plug. Enjoyed seeing you and Clay in RV Unplugged.
Awesome job my friend!!! I had to replace my 50 amp plug on our last coach with a new plug that wasn't as nearly as straight forward as this. These plugs take a beating no matter how you try and care for them particularly with a electric cord reel, which probable help pull the installation off the wires & the plug over time. I'm going to pick up a spare and keep it with me. Thanks for sharing!!!
This simple repair on my 50 amp power chord was overdue. The Camco replacement plug made the process straightforward.

The manufacturers ought to be ashamed for putting lousy connectors on something so critical. Js. Good video, straightforward to the point.
Yes sir. Thanks for watching!
I did mine a couple of years ago using the same Camco plug. Love it.

Yessir, same issue on my 2019 Tiffin RED.
Were you able to repair it?
yes I used a different plug.@@TollesonLife
That should work. But I never seen that happen. 13 yrs in my old 2007 diesel motorhome and now 4 yrs in my 2020.
I hope it holds! Gonna keep a good eye on it. Glad you haven’t had the issue.
Its these small things in life that with some hand tools, can save you a lot of money over having someone do it for you.
Yes sir!!
We’ve had camco before. They are not as good as they seam.
👍
You might have cursed yourself by saying "easy fix" LOL. Lets see how the video goes!
