I also shimmed it through new wiseco piston new cylinder pretty much everything u did in the vid i got except a crank but crank is mint no issues im just tryna figure what I did wrong
@@fwtheog9768 idk, the reason why we replace the valves in the first place on this quad was because the auto decompression was getting stuck ever time you tried to start it because the old valves where bent, it would get stick in the open position causing the engine to have no compression, I would take a look at that on yours it’s in the exhaust cam, except for that if you did everything correctly than you should have a good running motor.
@@MotorMichaelMC ok I see what ur saying my issue was it lost compression and the 2 exhaust valves were leaking so what I ended up doing was bought a whole kpmi valve set and used the oem valves to cup the head as I was told the titanium wear on the valves will be useless if u use the new valves to cup the head is this true ?
Hey man i am getting a yfz 450 2006 . The seller says it has no problems and the engine never opened and it's working fine. I have still not seen it. I have a bad experience with my old raptor 660 and i sold it. What should i focus on to check and is it good deal for 2200$ dollars. I am on budget and i want to have fun in desert and enjoy. I live in uae by the way
I would make sure you do the oil squirter mod. They’re notorious for having cranks going bad without this mod on the 04-06 other than that they’re solid bikes.
Also what to check before buying i am on budget all i got is 3k dollars. I want something running and good so i can drive it in desert
