For a moment I wondered if it was a budget-saving thing - they don't have to go out into the countryside with a bunch of drones for five days. But it strikes me that the amount of preparation and rehearsal is probably just as time-consuming. Especially given that it's single-purpose - with the outdoorsy videos they probably end up with masses of stock footage they can use in other videos.

Superb video. That said, and I apologize, I have one nit to pick:
"at 68° this fairing is two inches above the ground [...] 'Bernoulli's Principle' [...] if we're squeezing air though this narrow gap [...] that sucks the whole bike towards the ground"
Bottom line: there is no way to generate a down-force on the bike from the air without directing air upwards.
    TL;DR
I sincerely doubt this effect, that the ***NET*** force induced by air compressing between the bike and the ground is downward, is even close to true - any "Bernoulli-resultant" force at that narrow gap is not enough to counter the previous downward push downward on the air (Newton's Third Law). The only way that would be possible is if the air was being thrown (direct) upwards (Newton's 3rd again) ***BEHIND*** the bike i.e. momentum transfer F = dM/dt, and I don't see a trailing edge in the fairing that would do that.
N.B. I am ***NOT*** saying there is ***NOT*** a low pressure at the narrowest point of that gap, just that the down-force from that low pressure is not enough to overcome the other forces that caused it.
This misplaced concept is similar to the one in sailing theory where it was once thought that the acceleration of air through the "slot" between mainsail and genoa provided a net thrust forward.
If you don't believe me, take this to an aerodynamicist. I see there is a patent for this idea; I could easily be missing some subtlety here, in which case I would not be bothered to be proved wrong, but I truly doubt it. I am not saying there is no advantage to these fairings in racing, just that the bottom fairing in a turn does not provide a ***NET*** down-force. We don't get something for nothing.
I did not read through all 2,767 comments, so perhaps there is already a discussion here about this; if so, then I apologize and will remove this comment.

Excellent production , as always . Side note : I owned a 1981 Suzuki GS1000S once . It had a weird shaped bikini fairing , not frame-mounted , which made the front end incredibly vague on fast mountain roads . I think it was more a styling exercise in those days than an actual aero benefit anyway .
