I played with 89 mustangs rear axle. Also installed 3:55s on the back, which cuts down on my high speed and noisy. 3:55s is only good on quarter miles, since you have all that power in the motor, experiment on stock rear axle for higher top end. I will wait for the result.
LOVE the notch-back fox bodies of the ' 80's. Especially the 5.0 equipped cars.
