I am proud to join the ranks of someone who painstakingly kept and built their first car thru thick and thin. You never see anyone regret keeping them.
Definitely one of the cleanest fox body builds ever and I’ve been around the scene for a long time. My first one was an 87 as well - black 5.0 LX hatch with T-tops. Many fox bodies later and have a black twin turbo 347 93 Cobra. These cars can be absolute animals if you build em right.
The Saleen wing with the Cobra bumpers, side skirts, and tail lights look great on this car! I normally would swap a set of LX tail lights into any foxbody.... I like this car though.
NGL Not keeeping my first car is a bigger regret than any heartache a women ever could give me. So i can appreciate here the complete opposite of that. Well done sir!!
It's not even on 1200 hp in this video it's turned down and it had a slew of top notch products on it front to back this makes it alot easier. Having a proper tire also helps. With turbo setups you can have boost by gear and stuff this helps put the power down you get that with expensive stand alone ecu and stuff this car is very well done but it also has no expense spared and when you have something done with no expense spared it typically makes the driver look good.
Hardest Foxbody I've seen💪💪💪 I'm a owner of 3, all nice, 1 built up, but not that much power....sheeeesssh... awesome ride. I know 5-600 is alot of SHTF in a Fox, so I know you couldn't do much but look straight because you were pinned in the seat...lol
@LamboDEB1 absolutely, in Jesus's Name.....all while driver's laughing.... or atleast I do when passengers are paralyzed by a sudden drop of the clutch...lol
my first car was also a 87' GT / 5 spd manual. with that being said, can we please appreciate how badass it was for him to have kept the original dash switches and converted the one into a push button ignition! Foxes were the best looking / most badass mustangs ever when done right and THIS car........this car should be the primary aspiration to every car builder out there. this thing is perfection.
There are plenty of well done foxes like this that aren't sitting on welds you just gotta open your eyes and see them. This is a really well done car I love the fact it has a turbo 4v.
Been around clean fox bodies for many years but you were sooo excited that it would have been nice to have actually seen or heard more about the build.
One of the coolest cars I’ve seen on social media in a bit…. feels like so many people all just get the same cars and do the same things so when you see stuff like this that isn’t super common and all over the place, it is just overwhelmingly awesome and is this dude freaking nailed it looks so good
I've seen A LOT of Mustangs, as I'm sure you all have. This one's really nicely put together. I could do with a bit less volume from the exhaust but that's probably just an indication that I'm getting older. Cheers!
Surprised that there's not racing harnesses instead of standard seat belts. This car is a perfect monster! Would love to see what it does against other cars on the track. 🔥🔥🔥
I’m a Mustang FREAK and always loved the Fox platform, maybe just because it was the main platform I grew up with but I absolutely love the Fox body. That said, this is easily one of the cleanest and well put together builds on a Fox that I’ve ever seen! Sounded like a wet dream too!
Imagine the feeling of driving that beast, knowing it was your first car. Obviously knowing every little thing about it. My first car was a 99 crown vic, and I always dreamed of turning it into something like this. Absolute unit.
I can only think of one word for this car……..”beautiful”. The only thing I would do is put a light shein tint on the taillight and that’s it. Good job my man.
I've had 3 Foxbody Mustangs and damn do I miss them...I have said for over 20 years the Foxbody is the best bang for your buck, back in the day the stock Mustang came with 225hp, and with 5k you could make it a 12s car..
I don't have an extravagant ride like this but I do have one I've stuck with for twenty three years...my 91 Civic hatch. I was 25 when I scooped it up back in 2000. There isn't a dollar amount I'd part with it for.
I salute u guys I'm the proud owner of one my self only difference on mine I got the 5.0 with a single 80 mm turbo and like he said low boost pulls are crazy.
First thing. The powerplant dohc fits the car the most. By far the cleanest fox in the world. I love how clean it is not to flashy. Just mean and clean
Great job, I've been wanting a5.0 my hole life now every body want an arm an a leg for them I would sure like to do what you did to your mustang... really great job
@berardoferrari thanks for the info, it's just hard to spend that kind of $ on a car that is a 1987 or 88, see I'm old .....lol and I remember when that car first came out, people have gotten greedy.... but just maybe I give it another go and look around
@ontosewing8784 being old you should know these cars are old and finding them in decent shape isn't that easy and when you do it's gonna cost. 15k now isn't the same as 15k 25 years ago inflation is a bitch. I know I'm old enough to remember being able to get nice foxes for 3-5k those days are long gone. You either have to accept it and pay what you have to or move on. 3-5k 25 years ago is like 10+ now just from inflation alone. Then you add that they're much harder to find now you can see.
There are so many details to this car that a fox body needs to be perfect in my picky fox body eyes..lol..from cleaning up the engine bay to having a full interior with halo headrests, to being one factory color with the right body mods, stance and wheels..it's perfect..1200hp is just absurd though!!..lol
As an ex Fox body (87) a 69 and an 07 S197 owner - this is one of the most awesome I've seen - great video and subbed! I was scared in a 760hp Fox one time like that! and my bro's 19 GT - on an on ramp had me grabbing the door handle - my S197 would have lost grip and I couldn't believe the difference with the IRS and magnaride - he has it at about 530hp with cai, larger throttle body and off-road h pipe - thats no stock Mustang motor in this ride besides the turbos
thank you for keeping our beloved mustangs clean and not overkilled at all.. a beautiful clean sexy as fak stang and even chevy guys are yanking it right now... nice build bro. my notch will never look that sexy but its still a beast .. kickass
Just bad ass monster. Just seeing the turbos perfectly in place of the fog lights at first glance screams "im gonna chew you up and spit you out. NEXT!!"

😂 recaro seats 😂😂😂😂😂 mopar and ford makes racing seats too
Damn that sound…. That’s right

My biggest regret was selling my fox.
Never a truer word has been spoken. 100% miss my first car
Lol not sure if I'd want to keep my first car, it was a 95 Buick Regal with the 3100
Same dude, had an 88 vert, I miss that thing, so fun and the 5.0 is legendary.
Same! Still have my first 5.0 from when I was 15 🥹
That car should have its picture in the webster dictionary. It should appear as the definition for the word "perfection"
Literally the sickest fox body ive ever seen. Fuuuuuuuck.
Edit - Scratch that. It’s on bags 😟
I'm not normally a fan, but the Cobra ground effects and tail lights look great on this car!
Agreed
Nicest fox I've seen in a long time.
Definition of,, MAN... MEN.. LOL
That is the greatest looking foxbody I have seen, without even knowing how fast it is.
The fact that you don’t even notice the fenders at first is a testament to how well done they are. Looks how they should come stock
And this one definitely is!
Is they 350 in car
I agree, my brother had a brand new in 1987 when that body style came out with only 225hp. Seemed fast then but damn 1200! Fun times!
Almost any car can be these days
The Saleen wing with the Cobra bumpers, side skirts, and tail lights look great on this car! I normally would swap a set of LX tail lights into any foxbody.... I like this car though.
What a cool ass story that he kept his first car. Lots of fun.
NGL Not keeeping my first car is a bigger regret than any heartache a women ever could give me. So i can appreciate here the complete opposite of that. Well done sir!!
My first car was my dad's 87 LX 5.0. I let her go for $3,200 in 1998 and have regretted it ever since.
My 1st mustang was an 87 gt as well. 20 years later, I'd do anything to have her back. This is definitely the sweetest fox I've seen!
I hear ya,over of 4,88' ---92',love to own another ❤
Miss my 93 GT
Respect to the driver, he's has full control of the vehicle especially the power it puts down.. Talk about throttle control. respect
I wonder what it does in a quarter mile.
Thank you so much for the video of the door jambs, and cage. That car is so beyond mint! WOW

@LamboDEB1 absolutely, in Jesus's Name.....all while driver's laughing.... or atleast I do when passengers are paralyzed by a sudden drop of the clutch...lol
I have one still to this day that I bought new in 1992! I wish I had another! Cheers.
Does this old Mustang have that 5.0 in it? And if so, how he managed to get 1200hp out of it?
Holy crap, that is the personified image of perfection of a car from that era.
my first car was also a 87' GT / 5 spd manual. with that being said, can we please appreciate how badass it was for him to have kept the original dash switches and converted the one into a push button ignition! Foxes were the best looking / most badass mustangs ever when done right and THIS car........this car should be the primary aspiration to every car builder out there. this thing is perfection.
The cleanest Foxbody I’ve ever seen. No ugly welds, perfectly modified.
There are plenty of well done foxes like this that aren't sitting on welds you just gotta open your eyes and see them. This is a really well done car I love the fact it has a turbo 4v.
You can tell he has driven that car so much the way he keeps it in total control at them speeds he is one with the car 👌
That's what it's all about and how it should be. You can't get that with an auto driving for you not nearly as much.
This is one of my favorite videos. I had a 85-86-87-89. 5.0 loved and miss every minute of it. But this car is a work of art. Much love. Mustang love
A beast and a showpiece. The detail all around is sick
Foxbody is legendary. 80s camaros were outclassed
Been around clean fox bodies for many years but you were sooo excited that it would have been nice to have actually seen or heard more about the build.

Oh that is just beautiful. I’m an old 80’s guy. Spent my teenage years in the 80’s. I had a 1985 convertible GT Fox Body back in the day.
The mustangs feel so raw when accelerating like you are literally riding on top of a beast. And the foxbody's are so lite in weight.
This is the sound our goosebumps just love , they come out for sure for something like this
YOU KNOW ITS FAST WHEN YOU GET OUT OF THE CAR AND SAY YOU’RE HUNGRY LOL 😂
THATS A BADASS RIDE BROTHER!!!
Miss my 87’ as well
Fvcking gorgeous fox! Killer stance. Love the history behind this build. Phenominal doesn't quite describe this one. Hats off bro 🍻

A lot of custom work on that fox. He put the roll cage inside the dash where the speaker was and it looks amazing.
I CANNOT stand Mustangs!!! With the exception of the 1960s series and the Fox body. This is absolutely BoNkErS!!! Outstanding job on this build.
I'm glad bro got to build his 1st beater that he ever had, salute! Baby looks, sounds, and moves reaaaaal goooouddd

"Responsibility" can mean a great many things..
For example: You are responsible for bringing your fox to perfection.
