This is the gyro every gyo wants to be, comfortable, goodlooking, luggage area. Seriously sweet.
That's one of the best-looking gyros i think I've seen.
This is the first time I found myself wanting an auto-gyro.
It looks AWESOME!
Right? How cool is this thing! Thanks for taking the time to watch here today!
Im right there with you , I would love to have this one the only problem that I can see for me is that it looks like it would a chore getting in and out just like a sports car.
Never too late!?! there is a thing called ..." Financing." What? The wife bitched when you bought the motorcycle...and that turned out...o.k.?
Thanks for doing this interview and video. If you can get back to them when the blades are put on, I think you would enjoy an intro flight. From other videos, they are extremely stable. Thanks again. All the best, Hal
Delay comment. This makes flying Giros so relaxing . Call it a sofa but not jitterbugs like a chopper. One time in UK Giros where regarded as deathtraps. Giropeople are tenacious !. We have machines now as this one. 20 lbs, enough chocolate to feed the lady in the Loch. Thanks playmates. Dave
Well it's a good thing I coined my gyro WOLVERINE and not AirWolf........although I am a big fan and it was the motivation for me to fly rotorcraft in the first place ! Nice coverage of gyroplanes....keep em coming!!
3 cheers for Polish engineering!
This craft is impressive.
How do you know? It's never shown flying!
And expensive

I love the delay reaction. That inertia makes it more relaxed not having an over sensitive mashine. Mightvbe a good start for beginners. Ascending and descending just with throttle is also interesting way to navigate height. I like the autopilot option for long distances.
I like the imagery of chasing my plane
Thanks for this episode. You have my permission to do more gyro content, please.

@@JeremyBechtold Thanks 👍
Plenty of room for a massive GARMIN in the center I ( liberated) from Mike Paties dumpster.
I once flew a gyro like this. It can be controlled like an airplane. Interesting device.
Gyroplanes are amazing 👏😃
Most practical gyroplane I have ever seen.
they got me on the cup holders lol
Seems like a lot of extra space for only 20 pounds of luggage. Looks really nice though.
…Argon Ramjet Rotorcraft…that sounds gooood!
I really like the extra room in the cockpit.
Nice curves on the Argon. 👏
Amazing wow I'm in line👏👍
If you pilot this from the left seat does that mean you have to fly it left handed? I don't see a throttle on the left side like many side by sides.
Nice video Bryan. Snazzy looking gyro…come a long way from the Mad Max gyro days.
Nice looking Gyrocopter. thanks
I like the simplicity of gyro craft but, I want very short takeoffs, has contra rotating main rotors ever been tried, yes I get the air flow theory but, what if the lower rotor disc was shorter then the upper. Would this produce the lift for say a jump start angle of take off ?
Perfection
That is the one I want.
AWESOME!
very good
Great job
Lovely.
Awesome
It is beautiful.
Not an an option for me but it is cool things like this exist.
Nice vid. 😎. Nice product. Good questioning. 🤔👏✨
Excellent stuff bro
You clearly asked the company rep. what the V-speeds are, and he did not answer you. He told you what the take off distances will be, on a calm day, versus a windy day. Is there a language barrier? Didn't he understand your question? What's the cruise speed, and Vne?
Is the rotor blade brake strap short enough so when unhooked it stays out of the pedals? Very nice machine
I sat through this entire thing waiting for cruise speed. Why would they not tell us that?
after watching through, I came to the comments for that. And here I am.
Cruise speed is 112mph. Google took 2 seconds....
112mph
People EDIT videos
@@ianmangham4570 well, no wonder they don’t say. That’s a deal breaker.
Tks for uploading ... good luck to have big success in USA. I think it should be enough space for this little giro to set up a 3 seater like a McLaren F1 (street version) ? 6 hours flight time.... what is the max range ? Do already exist the certificate for EU? Hreetings from Netherlands/Cpt. JayR
Thanks for coming by X59
Dope
hi......is a modern gyroplane in its landing-and take off equal then a pushlpane ? they can do as well 200kmh in speed and have the safest emergen-landing , right ? hope to read you commend....
Very nice design. Batman would have wanted one.
That is one beautiful gyro plane. I’m sure it’s expensive but if I had it the $$ I’d buy one. More gyro’s please.
Surprisingly enough, it's under $200k. I had no frame of reference for what a gyrocopter cost as I didn't even know they were still a thing so i could be ignorant, but $130k-200k seems pretty reasonable.
@@SweetLou0523 you can buy them as low as 40-50k so that does feel pretty pricey but it does seem to be a "Deluxe" sort of model
So flight training can be done in an Experimental category? I always thought it had to be in a certificated a/c.
Mini skycrane 😉
1000Km (621 mile)range with external fuel tanks? Does this require any sort of FAA license, rating or certification to fly?
Yes
The air will separate at the back , it needs a prop extension and redesigned rear end.
I'm, curious if the doors come off for flight? If so then that would be a great way to rid the ranch of predators!
Since they hover like a brick, I tend to agree.
"You had me at, Hello!" It's a beautiful aircraft! I would have liked to have heard more performance info, like VNE, Cruise speed, ceiling, is it a pressurized cabin etc.... really enjoyed your presentation and perhaps a demo flight where you bring us along would really be cool!
They can't give you a proper VNE they need to guess high speeds are dangerous in gyros as you run the risk of unloading the rotor. I know blokes even in Direct drive Bensens to do 100mph open frame. These may be able to do more being streamlined but the main issue is how shallow the disk is. My old VW bensen I had to 80mph easily but chose to fly at 60mph. I'd imagine these would sit happily at 100mph safely. Still a lot of money. These fancy gyros are massively overweight IMO it's not unusual for these to weight 300kg+ empty weight. By comparison the Wallis gyro 116 was 116kg. And would outperform this in every respect. Massively overweight.
@@cameronlapworth2284 thanks man.
@@waynegilchrist1596 no worries.
Definitely not pressurized. Gyros like helicopters don't get any speed advantage by going up that high, so they don't do it. Altitude records in gyros have been set high enough to need oxygen, so they can go over 12000 feet, but again there's no operational need to do it
All rotocraft are speed limited by retreating blade stall, where as the blades rotate, the blade on the side that is turning with the wind begins to approach it's stall speed, as it's relative speed through the air falls. As mentioned in the other comment, gyros with flexible blades are at great risk going over 100 knots from rotor unloading leading to blade flapping and rotor strike and destruction on the airframe.
Very expensive and experimental rotorcraft can slow the rotor with increasing airspeed to avoid this phenomenon, but that's way above the level of general aviation gyros.
Could have sworn this was a xenon gyroplane lol.
Like cars i guess, they're starting to look a like now haha.
Great video btw
I want it.
Thank you for great video showing our rotorcraft, we would like invited to our official UA-cam channel
instead of all that fuel weight and baggage weight, why not add one or two extra seats??
2:53 M'kay
I know nothing about gyroplanes, but it looks like every landing is an autorotation. :o
Honestly most helicopter landings are essentially auto rotations too.
is it suitable for mountainous terrain with short runways ?
Yes it is
That payload though. 20lbs you say?! That’s amazing. What is that 4 toothbrushes?…..
Now I want to get my avatar license
Cruise speed?
Gyrocopters are great, no doubt, I love them, but I'm afraid of rotor failure. If I owned a gyrocopter I would add two ballistic parachutes.
Can anyone answer why gyrocopters and auto-gyros only have two blades, and not three or four? If you damage a blade, you can at least auto-rotate down to safety, if you have three or four blades. You cannot auto-rotate on only a single blade. I hope there is an emergency parachute installed, like some light aircraft have.
Cruise speed is 112mph.
Yes it c fssy enoughh
how about regarding the TC? has the Polandia CAA issued TC?
The US-version needs no rotor 🙈
They have enough hot air? Lol
can it do jump takeoff?
The master key inside the glove box is an accident waiting to happen.
Me as well
Thanks James!
I like that blue nose.
Qual valor desse equipamento de asa giratória onde comprar qual velocidade de cruzeiro é distância ponto a ao b exemplo q podemos navegar. Tenho interesse.
Do you have to sing the theme song to get it running?
amazing. what is the price^?
What airport is that?
nice gyro, hope they dont go broke, there is a market for a cargo gyro, 1/3 the cost of a helicopter, can land anywhere, and unlike fixed wing aircraft, can land and take off in very high winds, when they they finally that niche out, they'll have success, I think they need to be able to take the payload of the original uh1 helicopter, pilot, co pilot, patient, nurse, RT and doc, stretcher and medical gear, plus 2hrs fuel, that's about a 2000 lbs in net load plus 450 lbs of fuel for a typical load of 25000-3000 max loud, design that, and your have a winner...your could serve every pacific island as a medivac.
Does the auto-pilot flying itself from point A to point B? if yes that would be nice, and I'm sure a lot people would want it.
Dear Santa .. I know it's early .. but
🙂
Ese nunca enfocó atrás del asiento de piloto para ber si abían asientos también, solo enfocó los dos de adelante, pienso que solo es para dos personas, pienso porque no vi más atrás.
The only bummer about these is the useful load is super low. Its really only a 2 person and maybe two kids. Forget two well fed adults and fuel.
How we can talk to them?
🍎
what is the thing that companies are not coming out with a 4 place gyro?it is well accepted that gyros are not expected to cruise in the 150-200 knots a healthy useful load should not be that hard.
Starting at 130k and 165k to 200k for the one in the demo... is simply too expensive, I can say they're selling it double the price it costs.
I completely agree. Someone’s gonna come along and smoke these guys. Th3 polish aren’t known for their brains.
Y2K my Air Command ( home made) with enclosure,” wind shield fairing. $6,000.
Make 70 mph , 5 gal / hr. flying hard. Hot,, to much fun!!
Flew in the v with Canada Geese, diving on corn fields at 100 + mph
Easily, but they probably don’t sell many. Unless they’re like Ferrari spaceships, I’ll wait till these things get cheaper.
Wring goid o ice tage
SOLD
Price?
Why is not a four seat?
That Rotax powerplant only produces 141hp.
Weight...
i want to purchase
disappointed that I didn't see it fly
He didn’t want to say about the take off speeds 😔.
Or cruise speed. That is what I waited the entire video for and they didn’t even mention it!
Inherently SLOW. ...POTENTIALLY very safe tho
They could easily make these 1/10 of the price that they do and they could make a lot more money at it. Unfortunately lawsuits take away from life because stupid people get into machines they cant handle. Nobody’s gonna buy the stuff very few, because for the cost it takes to build them and the cost it takes to buy them is insanely out of proportion.
I am no aviation guy but I think Bush planes make better sense than gyrocopters.
Doesn't it fly?
You asked him max cruise and never exceed speed but he didn't answer. I found specs: smooth air cruise is 94 kts, vne is 113 kts.
Anyone in Florida wanna go halves and co-own one of these with me?
body lift rocket boat is a better shape, all-terrain (even space) vtol aircraft
using directional valveless afterburner scramjets, providing thrust at low and high speeds, no moving parts, minimal complexity and maintenance/service requirements, glow ignition fuel vaporization mixer or just external heat source pulse-jet like drive
auto park dont be so handed
specifically indicate no-park status instead
if you can mess up, you will
if you mess up in simple things, you mess up in all major things too as well
What’s this !!?
What’s the point of those? Either buy a plane or buy a helicopter. Seems to me that they are less safe?
3 to 4 seconds wait. Not like that in the single seat old fashioned read light gyros.
This is just screaming for a 4 seat option. Along with a conventional aircraft spun off from this cabin with normal wings.
The inherent safety of (most) GyroPlanes is the Very Absence of Wings. The benefits are very little effects from rough air and capability to descend almost directly to any terrestrial (or marine…using floats) landing spot!
Aaaaaaaaaah
I did the screaming for a 4 seater for you 😃
Cartercopter worked on a wing/rotor hybrid. Wings give efficient fast flight, then rotor gives all the benefits of gyros. You could also add Jet-Gyrodyne features for helicopter flight.
i want i\lne!
No chain guns......
