These are expensive for me, but cheaper than I expected. A lot of my friends talk about wanting a Ferrari or a Lamborghini but for less money you can get one of these and to me it’s way cooler. I hope I can live long enough to see personal aircraft become more popular. It would be awesome to take my son to school in one
#5 to me is the best choice. 1) side by side 2) distance 3) possible speed 4) flight height 5) looks more comfortable and more pleasing to fly especially with a passenger.
I would like to fly one of these, I have flown small single engine planes in my 20's and now at 65 and my body is going south. I look forward to flying at least one more time before I can only fly in my dreams. I have invented things in my lifetime with a crew of friends. I long to feel free again in the sky's above.. Thanks for the show, always ready for and invite. Thanks Gerry Grilli
Always loved these, even today most people dont even know about them, no stall, safer than anything out there and cheap to buy and run. I have just met someone who has one and {Im hoping lol} to get into his some day soon.
I love the gyrocopters and enjoy your videos immensely. I also appreciate that you mention the cost for each of them, they are all out of my price range but you never know, I might win the lottery--if I ever buy a ticket.
You are beautiful as are all these gyroplanes. Got to get my license and buy one before I get any older. I was in the Air Force and served 2 tours in Vietnam and Thailand during the war and have never gotten flying out of my system. Thank you for a Top Notch video!
Hands down, the CAVALON is the ONLY gyro I would consider. It has a proven record that the new 1 on the list isn't yet ready for sale. And like the saying goes, " Never fly the mark 1 of ANY aircraft!". Fly safe everyone! ♥️
Thank you so much for putting in the standard measurements for us that are still metric illiterate! really enjoy the videos . You have proven that these types of videos can be fun as well as informative, thats why I keep watching!! THANKS AGAIN
@Mind's Eye Design Vocal metric measures, textual otherwise, please. On a related note: top 10s really would benefit from a table or chart of measures and metrics that grows over the course of the video and which is displayed, eventually, in toto, filling the screen. Viewers can then do comparisons and view the information in textual form (arguably making it easier to remember). On a related related note: metrics can -- and probably should -- be simultaneously related visually and verbally. So, for gyrocopters, over a static image or line drawing of each aircraft in profile, a horizontal line showing body length and wing/rotor length. Similarly, body width, range, horsepower, top speed, ceiling, etc. can be visually displayed concurrently with video of the craft in operation, and product shots. Each metric for all craft should be on the same scale, so differences in a given measure (e.g. rotor length) are made apparent by how much of the screen width the line occupies. You could even add vertical 'ticks' to show shortest and longest measures, with the 'ticks' moving as minimum and maximum change. Obviously, have the 'ticks' appear for each craft. The 'vital statistics' in graphical form can be held under video being displayed, in barely-perceptible form, and pulled up over the 'action' sequences whenever new information about the craft under consideration is being given. Much of these top 10 videos are about technology. Take the suggestions above and develop your own chops.
Great presentation of the available gyros. It is too hard to decide for me ,my favorite. I was not aware that the gyrocopter became this refined. Thanks
I've flown as student pilot in the 10-Eclipse and the not represented here, Silverlight Aviation American Ranger. Both are great. The Eclipse is better for cross-country.
I love autogyros and their capabilities. They are all good here. Thank you for the video! Thank you for giving the characteristics not only in imperial values standard for the US and UK, but also in metric standard for the whole world. Because feet, pounds, gallons, knots, miles, do not say anything and do not give a clear understanding to many, like me. Km/h, meters, kilograms, liters are already very good. Thank you!
For the last year I've been thinking the Cavalon is my fave gyro, but the Tyfun seems like a winner. Can't say without knowing the price, something you mention on all the others except the one that hasn't gone into production yet.
I see gyrocopters and manned drones being the transportation of the future for most people. The technology will only get better and cheaper. There are your flying cars folks.
Any of the side by side versions, No. 5 perhaps. I love autogyros, I would like to have a go in one some day. I've flown in a few fixed wing types and a couple of helos. An auto-gyro looks like a great combination of performance, economy and convenience - plus LOTS of fun!
#5 taifun my pick, I am thinking of travelling in helicopter for short distances too cause of the insane city traffic and driver's but the large rotor diameters are a problem cause they can't hit nearby objects in congested areas I think the multiple blades(>2) with shorter diameter can be better for such situations.
I'm looking to finally getting a pilot license. And was going for a sport pilot level. I hadn't considered a Jyro copter really but after seeing this there are some very cool designs and and the prices are in my thinking for a first craft and also these seem fine to traylor on home if need be. I don't see one I don't like . The Italian design is cool... good video guy's
Hello, tdan819 If you enjoyed this video check out or aircraft playlist. I'd sure love to any of these featured in the video. I hope you get one, I can only imagine how fun a ride that would be. ua-cam.com/play/PLJmAwjBwlfgJoaBSF5f9kpTqENoeY246i.html Thanks for watching!
By your stats.. the Typhoon seems to be on top of the list. Twin booms have to stronger than a single boom. Rear flight planes are in direct rear of the rear blades. That, I'm guessing would make the entire platform more stable and responsive. I'm no pilot but .. the Typhoon is where I would put my money.
а где самолеты? я увидел только автожир!!! я думаю что все кто имеет хоть какое то отношение к авиации знают о этих прекрасных машинах!!! а те люди которые не в курсе должны знать ПРАВИЛЬНОЕ название и их ТТХ!!! and where are the planes? I saw only a gyroplane !!! I think that everyone who has anything to do with aviation knows about these wonderful machines !!! and those people who are not in the know should know the CORRECT name and their performance characteristics !!!
It's the Cavalon because its lowest priced, range, and speed. What good is it to own one of these unless you can take off from a short field ( which they all can do) and land in a short field or short strip of rural highway (when the police aren't looking) near a relative or fun destination. Only one problem, well 2 problems 1. I don't want to afford $60,000 and 2. I don't have a pilots license.
A few quick questions, will all of these run on automobile premium gasoline? The 2 I am familiar with do so I was wondering if all would. Could you fly these at night or in rainstorms if you had instrumentation pilot rating? Lastly, since the rotor gives all of the lift, do bird strikes ever occur with the rotor and can it withstand a bird strike? Since they are slower than a jet I would think birds would have time to get away from it, but you never know. Great video.
Thanks for watching everyone! 😍

Could you please do a video presentation on small personal “helicopters” kit and/or manufactured?
Panie! Gdzie są Polskie wiatrakowce?
I would like to know where to buy one of they can be bought. The live in Wichita Kansas
I've wanted a gyrocopter, ever since I seen the road warrior, back in 1981

Taifun #5 for its power, side by side seating, cabin layout and range of 480 miles gets my vote. The cost is also very reasonable.
B Perry how much ?
How much is the taifun
@@marcb4166 about $85,000
I would like to know where I can find this gyro? I want one!!!!
I would like to fly one of these, I have flown small single engine planes in my 20's and now at 65 and my body is going south. Have you flown again yet Gerry ? Hope all is well.
GOT TO GIVE THESE PEOPLE WHO BUILD THESE THEMSELFS AND THEN HAVE THE GUTS TO GET IN AND TAKE OFF INTO THE SKY. WHAT COURAGE. YOU GO PEOPLE
number 1....design futuristic gyrociopter..
I like the number 2 pick it looked more like a helicopter and more functional
Always loved these, even today most people dont even know about them, no stall, safer than anything out there and cheap to buy and run. I have just met someone who has one and {Im hoping lol} to get into his some day soon.
my favourite is the number 5 since it fly over 700km distance, pretty nice to fly it in 3 hours as well..
I love the gyrocopters and enjoy your videos immensely. I also appreciate that you mention the cost for each of them, they are all out of my price range but you never know, I might win the lottery--if I ever buy a ticket.

What a cool video. I haven't flown airplanes in years. I want any one of these now.
All gyros superbly Designed.
Thanks for sharing information.
Nice video
You wanna know which model I REALLY would love to take for a spin??? The Cassie at 10:15! 😍😜
Hands down, the CAVALON is the ONLY gyro I would consider. It has a proven record that the new 1 on the list isn't yet ready for sale. And like the saying goes, " Never fly the mark 1 of ANY aircraft!". Fly safe everyone! ♥️
WOW ! Bravo "Reacher" & Co. Excellent, Informative Reporting ( old fashion word ) Held My Interest Throughout - Keep Up The Great Work !
ELA aircraft’s seems good & reasonable

Thank you for great technical specs & price info. Very informative & enjoyable.

Niki was the best looking although would love to see a side-by-side seating arrangement version...
I've flown multiple autogyros but I'm excited for the Taifun.
great video!
Für mich ist der AC 20 aus Östereich der schönste Gyrocopter der Welt !!
I like Number 2. way beyond my ability cost wise but would love to have one
I'd go with the Cavlon, all weather, cool looks, good speed and range and best value for money.
I'm with you! The Cavalon meets all of my preferences (wish I could afford it).
Awesome video once again guys!!! I absolutely love the lightning that thing is beautiful!!!
great video. thanks for including feet and meters and pricing.
I think the last one / listed as #1 was really cool. I hope it gets into production.
Number 5 ore 1 is for me.
Thanks for the comparisons... i'm in love with the Taifun
I would love the Cavalon but the new design looks great, now just got to run out and buy a lottery ticket. Thanks for the review.
Wow....I am falling in love with Auto-gyros....seem to make more sense than a plane and maybe more forgiving...anyone educate me on this a bit? Thanks!
Has to be the Auto gyro for me. Great video.
Realy wonderful to flying in the sky.lucky people.
Won't be to long before you can call ina taxi & one of these will land to pick you up. Thx for the info.. Beautiful.
I did enjoy the video don`t fly but got lifted when you showed up Cassy that`s a nice smile !
I love autogyros and their capabilities. They are all good here. Thank you for the video! 9:50 If that's your daily driver, you aren't flying a Gyrocopter!...having said that #6 is the pick for me. Good video guys.
TaiFun looks like a winner!
I like the idea of soundproofing
It's the Lightening for me 😎
For the last year I've been thinking the Cavalon is my fave gyro, but the Tyfun seems like a winner. Can't say without knowing the price, something you mention on all the others except the one that hasn't gone into production yet.
Thank you for your insight for present and future transportation platforms....
Very EXCITING!!!
The paint jobs on some of these examples will make beautiful fragments after shattering upon impact.
I see gyrocopters and manned drones being the transportation of the future for most people.
The technology will only get better and cheaper.
There are your flying cars folks.
I’ve liked the Cavalon. Great video too!
The model I liked best is the last one shown.. Casey @10:15
Cavalon and Typhoon are the most interesting models in my opinion.
The CAVALON is my favorite and closer to my price range!
giveng one!
My favorite is the Cavalon
Any of the side by side versions, No. 5 perhaps. I love autogyros, I would like to have a go in one some day. I've flown in a few fixed wing types and a couple of helos. An auto-gyro looks like a great combination of performance, economy and convenience - plus LOTS of fun!
Very nice. I don't have corage
Me neither
Number 1 , and THANK YOU MUCH GUYS AND GALS. 👍
Nise
Cool! Fun to fly.
i think the sport copter
Do they fire missiles ?
Thanks team 👍👍👍👍
Was pretty cool however would like to see more high performance models
#5 taifun my pick, I am thinking of travelling in helicopter for short distances too cause of the insane city traffic and driver's but the large rotor diameters are a problem cause they can't hit nearby objects in congested areas I think the multiple blades(>2) with shorter diameter can be better for such situations.
@AnonaMousetookmaname xxx
I would get the # 5 one also if I was really going to get one of those.😀
All of em are beautiful work of art...and Cathy girl at the nd is another beautiful work of nature ...i will dly in any of these wt Cathy any day
I think I like the Bulgarian model the best.
Excellent stuff bro
sophisticated and fun
Autogyro's sea plane is awesome.
Great work guys & Cassie! Short, informative..uptodate! Now catch up with the electric ones 😉 .. there is something crazy going on soon 😍
Very good
Nice to open a video that gets straight into the nitty-gritty without meandering pointless time-wasting "introductions".
is this like the original Mad Max gyrocopter? way past cool guys...
I'm looking to finally getting a pilot license. And was going for a sport pilot level. I hadn't considered a Jyro copter really but after seeing this there are some very cool designs and and the prices are in my thinking for a first craft and also these seem fine to traylor on home if need be. Thank you and good luck moving forward with your pilot license. Personally, I don't care for flying but I'd definitely give one of these a try.
Number 9 marvellous.
I love the comments of the different A/C.
Good video, one important one is missing -> our premium gyrocopter the Rotorvox ;)
interesting selection to look at. the prices seem reasonable
I was a big fan of Ken Wallis and his herd of autogyros. They are amazing things with an inherent fail-safe advantage..
Gyros are not inherently fail safe - just the opposite. Push the stick full forward will unload the rotor and you’re dead.
Great video. For regional trips from Greenville, SC to Charlotte, NC, the ranges are perfect. Seriously considering a purchase early 2020.
Hello, tdan819 If you enjoyed this video check out or aircraft playlist. I'd sure love to any of these featured in the video. I hope you get one, I can only imagine how fun a ride that would be.

@@mindseyedesign Hey man, I live in Greenville, Sc as well. You want to partner and buy a Taiphun or Cavalon
Excelente reportagem!
Informative . Thanks . Dave
thank you for putting the specifications in both SAE and Metric, IE (Miles, lbs, and Kg, and k) for us old codgers...lol
I am really interested, the car thing is driving me crazy!

I like all of them... Nice
Great video as usual
Very thanks
To use any of these, do you need piot license?, if not what is required? Do they run on pump gas. Just wish video more info.
Wow! I like them all!!
I am pakistan
for you ❤
nice video
I like them all. Surprising pricing.
1, is my pick but all the ones that are enclosed are all nice.
Number 2 on the list was my favorite. I liked the Helicopter like design. It also appeared to be much more safe.
For price and performance, I think N. 3 is the best, but I'll have to watch it again.
