❤️ you two! I grew up in the 1970’s and graduated high school in 1983 so this music was my generation…. The best era of music EVER! (1970’s-1980’s) Today’s music is junk! It’s so awesome to see you both discovering the best Era of music …..my generation!
Chicago's If You Leave Me Now was a song I heard as a boy growing up in the 70's. This and Seals and Crofts Summer Breeze always reminded me of summer and of growing up in the 70's. Like a gentle summer breeze they flow and bring back good memories.
The woman that was singing with Seals and Crofts is Carolyn Willis. She was part of the trio The Honey Cone who had a few big hits in the late 60s/early 70s with 'Want Ads' and 'Stick Up'.
Loved your talk about Crass song..."Punks Dead" and The Exploited. I'm 57... been listening to both bands for 40 years. Love them both. Also... ChumbaWumba!!! Check them out and why I mention them. Lol
Great stream TnT. Enoyed watching. The 16 yr old caught me off guard and ive heard that shit 100 times in passing. Lol. Loved the overall guys. Ty ☘️ 🇺🇲
Love how Tasha was pleasantly surprised that T liked that Chicago song If I Leave You Now and so was I 😂 Just goes to show that you can never tell how a song will touch a person ❤
You guys are totally misunderstanding the song. This is from the Wikipedia… "Into the Night" deals in themes of abandonment and aiding, about helping lift someone out of a tough situation. In an interview with UA-camr Professor of Rock[2] before his passing, Mardones explained the song's origins date back to the writing process for the Never Run, Never Hide album. He and songwriter Robert Tepper went to Miami and lived in an apartment while working on songs. Mardones' neighbors included a family of five: a mother, a father who worked in set design, and three teenagers (two girls and a boy). One day, the father walked out, leaving the family destitute. Mardones, wanting to help in any way he could, started paying the teens for odd jobs such as walking his dog or picking up groceries. The dog-walker was 16-year-old Heidi. One morning, after Mardones had spent most of the night working on the main riff from "Into the Night," Heidi, dressed for school in a rather mature fashion, came up to walk the dog. When Tepper made a stray remark after she left, Mardones shut him down, saying "Pal, she's just 16 years old, leave her alone."
The rest of the wiki entry… In a fit of inspiration, Mardones took the line and ran with it, slowly spinning the tale of this family across lyrics such as "It's like having a dream / Where nobody has a heart" highlighting the struggles of the father in set design, and the main chorus being about bringing the family out of poverty. Mardones went on to cite the song's success and subsequent radio interviews done with Heidi to clear up the controversy as what helped lift the family out of their poverty. Through the exposure, Heidi would meet and ultimately marry the son of a Puerto Rico-based real estate mogul. Heidi's husband brought the family to Puerto Rico to live with the couple, and gave the brother a job in his company.
I loved that Black Crows song! And the song right after that makes me think if the band Journey and Exile had a baby that sung in a good way! They y'all hit me with some Michael McDonald, love it.
@@TheAdventuresofTNT it's a you tuber that 39! She said she was 17 talking to 32 year old and her parents did know...I know a famous comedian who is also a writer for tv shows she was like 16/17 dating like 36 year old this. This happened before during my time...Jay met Beyonce at like 16 when he met her he was like 30 he waited until she like 19/20 date...this isn't new at all and girls have been doing this in the music industry for over 60 years
@@myronscott8611 We understand that these situations happen and we are not oblivious to what goes on behind the scenes in the entertainment industry. We also know power, status and influence go a huge way in grooming/manipulating young people. There is no reason why any 30 year old man whether its Elvis or Jay z should be looking at a 14 year old girl and waiting for her to turn 16 to date. Fair enough but the music video was still very creepy.

John Cafferty and The Beaver Brown Band a song called NYC Song

It's only a song. The guy is young too. Teenage love.....Not perverted stuff
He didn’t look young in the video. 😂
Benny Mardones, shame on you.
