Rediscovered this song several years ago and played it over and over like it was brand new again…. My gosh I love this song and its sultry vibes! Really love to watch you two enjoy it…thank you !!!
ARS was a band I always held close to my heart. I got that first record in '78 and I never understood why they weren't huge. I loved all their stuff and still happily listen to it now. Great video!
Another great song by ARS, though it never got much air play is "Doraville." It has a wonderful walking bass line, and, with Tasha being from Ga., you might enjoy it.
@gregrodriguez5697 & @colty7764 Search this channel & also Tasha's channel for more ARS reactions including Champagne Jam, Spooky, Imaginary Lover, Ballad of Lois Malone & Georgia Rhythm. Doraville & Neon Nights both still to come!
@@gregrodriguez5697 my daddy worked at a body shop in Doraville when I was very young so I love that song. Also check out some of the soft rock streams...I requested Do It or Die & it was played during one of those
Men have let this song do the heavy lifting for decades 😂 I remember dancing with a fellow who worked the lyrics, he was good but at the time flirting was so much fun and we all knew
My hometown band, been a fan since their beginnings! They were just a studio session band that hit it big on their own with the late Ronnie Hammond! I went to many of their Champagne Jams starting in 1979, they have a lot of great hits ✌💖☮
Absolutely love this jam!!❤ Atlanta Rythm Section has such a great vibe and this got a lot of airplay back then. Hadn't heard it in a long time. Enjoyed the reaction!
Damn Tasha has awesome moves in a freaking CHAIR! The inner strength and control of my man there for even keeping his hands off her to even do a video is impressive. (hat tip)
@conniekat3424 introduced me to ARS, prior to that the only song i knew was Spooky and at the time had no idea who performed it. Now, i absolutely love them.
Im 61, I just moved from Australia to the Philippines, listened to this over 42 years ago North Brisbane, place called Redcliffe, really great times, no BS FEMINISM, life was awesome.
“When you walked into the room, There was doo-doo on your thigh, I was captured by your style, -but what the F was that on your THIGH? Now I stand here helplessly… Wishin’ YOU’D get AWAY FROM ME, I am SO, SACRED OF YOU….” -they won’t let me sing at the karaoke bar, anymore
This was one of the great songs at a party where you're just hanging out back then. You knew it was going to be a good night if your girlfriend got real close during this song.
So into you too and truly sorry to kill the vibe. But back to a post a year ago ( Archie Bunker gun control). This weekend my Vietnam 6 time cancer survivor and hero of my life had a discussion about gun control. He was angry at seeing bad ass wanna be's open carrying in stores. We both agree that conceal and carry is way better if something bad does go down. Why make yourself or anyone around you vulnerable by advertising the gun on your hip? As far as ANYONE caring a gun, concealed or open carry. All we have to do is invest in the history of the person wanting to carry the gun PERIOD! If you had a gun packed away in your back pocket and a person just started shooting people for what ever reason in Wal Mart or in the bowling alley YOU could shut it down real quick and save a lot of lives. Their families, the universe and karma would acknowledge you and your family in the future. Not all who side carry are bad or searching for fame. And not all who conceal are willing to pull the trigger. Putting guns in the right hands either way is so FUCKING SIMPLE. Why do you want or need it and the full back ground on YOU or ME. I apologize for interrupting this great song reaction to state this but it is important and I love all humans so it had to be said. I am so into you my brothers and sisters of the universe. LOVE
The spring/summer of 1977!! What a great Summer!! The memories!!😊❤
Class of 77!
Syrup wished it was this SMOOTH.

I’m Not Gonna Let it Bother Me Tonight is a great one too.
Tomorrow I might go as far as suicide, but I'm not gonna let it bother me tonight...
Yes smooth. Vocals compliment the music so well too. Champagne Jam is a must too.
Yeah that 'voodoo' line is one of the smoothest to me too, Tasha! 🥰
Yeah, it's almost like putting a spell on you.

Georgia Rhythm is a great song by this band 😊

I'm planning to request that one soon...maybe next month!
This is a jive! Spent a summer with this song in the background, smooth!

I was at that concert as well. Bobby Dodd stadium. Fantastic Concert!
From this album "Don't Miss the Message" and "Outside Woman Blues" are great tracks. Ronnie Hammond had a smooth voice
My very first concert was ARS and Sea Level at Duke University's Cameron Indoor Stadium in Durham NC
ARS's Imaginary Lover was one of my favorite songs of 1978. I never knew they were considered a southern rock back, but I guess I can see it.
LOVE THIS SONG, and GROUP!!!
Awesome band. Check out "Spooky" and "Champagne Jam" both great songs by ARS.
Great Band…the 7O’ nough said!
The greatest 40 year period of music 1960s through to the 90s… and all of the music reactors are proving this
Absolutely love this jam!!❤ Atlanta Rythm Section has such a great vibe and this got a lot of airplay back then. Hadn't heard it in a long time. Enjoyed the reaction!
I'm glad you found ARS! Angel would be a great song to react to.
Classy classic. ARS could rock hard too

For the ultimate summer vibe check out British jazz funk band Heavy Shift with their tune “90 In The Shade”
VERY pleasing sax.
An unappreciated cut: Another Man's Woman.
Always liked the albun Dog Days, lot of good songs. Silent Treatment, Boogie Smoogie, Dog Days, Crazy, All Night Rain, It just Ain't Your Moon.

ARS -- one band that it is a legitimate qualifier for the term "under-appreciated"
Just think....all these bangers you two react to was all over our local airwaves back in the day, life was so good 😉👍💯
Fantastic 🎉
Big time song from my childhood.👍
try Sooky or Imaginary Lover,.... For a similar vibe, listen to Poco - Legend... Heart of the Night, or any song from this great album
Classic!
Wonderful
Smoking!!!! Good call.....
Try "Homesick" by ARS for a little more rock, a more edge to their style. It's one of my favorites from them.
Maybe you heard " Spooky" by them.

Top tier studio musicians, all of them.
Not really my thing; thought they were pretty formulaic, but talented.
I think y'all did Spooky, not this one.
🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Please do some reviews of the Classics IV
I've always thought Luther Vandross could have done a good cover of this.
Check out "Cocaine Charlie"...great song by ARS..

Just a shame you did not watch the video showing them playing and singing this song.
