Im in i found your channel while i was surfin for dirt racin vids so far i like what i been watchin and i look forward in watchin more of your vids ......
Cavilers are a beast my 92 cavieler when I was 9 I won my ver first asphalt race no practice nothing lapped whole field to 4th place and won and won lots of races but had to rebuild motor every 8 races to keep power but it was fast and worth the 2 championships and rookie of year 2002 and 2003
Removed it to make room to remove some other parts (A/C etc) and make the bash bar. Just makes it easier to work on with that out of the way. Sometimes a little more work makes everything easier. haha
Do you still do the IM IN comment to get myself signed up to run one of your cars at the track I know I'm late on this video but IM IN for your next race or for next year in the new season
Lemons is another great option. However the 1k+ entry fee to race is kind of steep. You can go to any of your local short tracks and pay (usually) around 25 bucks to race for the night. If you do well you might even take home some prize money!
Hi! I may be building my first hornet car this year, I have a question, when I tear the dash stuff out do I need to be careful of anything? Also, if you take out the heater core do you have to rerun heater hoses?
Congrats on going racing! Yes. Make sure to remember where all the ground wires go. Some cars will not run without those grounds under there hooked up. Just plug as many things back in as you can to keep the electronics happy. Newer cars get more pissed off about these kind of things. All you have to do is loop the heater core hoses. Some cars you can get away with plugging them. But other cars might over heat certain parts if the flow isnt looped. So in general always get a Male to Male hose adapter and just loop them. Good luck dude!
@@thatracinglife thank you for responding bro! I may have more questions for you as I go. Been watching your channel I'm a new subscriber, keep up the good work!!
I don't know about anyone else, but out 1\4 mile track here in TN requires a suit, dot RACING certified helmet, racing shoes and gloves. Our track does have very steep banks and all classes are going very fast, including our rim runners, aka front runners or FWD cars. Just think it's kind of odd that a track wouldn't require these things.
Thanks! Have some changes coming soon. Should lead to some more consistent videos. Glad to hear you will be out there racing! Grass roots people are keeping the sport alive!
@@thatracinglife that's good to hear! And yeah I've came from a racing background since I was little racing snocross but want to get back into the racing life!
@@thatracinglife thanks man. This will be my second year racing 4 and 6 cylinder Enduro. Just built a new car for this weekend. Since an idiot totaled mine last year rear ending me on red. But super excited glad I found your channel.
Yeah that sucks! Always one somewhere that doesnt see the red! :/ Thanks for watching dude! Good luck with that new build. They usually fight you for a race or two. lol
Don't forget to comment "I'm in" to get yourself signed up!

How bout shoehorning the Prelude engine into a Suzuki Swift? I'm sure it would be a ton more work, but would it be fun? Within regulations?

Best way to smash the side and rear window is take duct tape and cover it than smash it little to no mess to clean up

You still racing here in Wisconsin?
Do you need the radiator to cool the engine?
How else would it be cooled?

Unplug what you need to for removal. Plug everything back in that still needs to be there.
