The BIG ICE CAR and Bike companies have successfully hidden themselves from the auto expo limelight by not participating. But they can't hide forever. They have been exposed.
People demand EVs and these companies are running away from an important mission to help India.
Shame on Toyota, Suzuki, Mahindra, Volkswagen, Skoda, Honda,, Nissan, Renault, Hero, Honda Motorcycles, Bajaj Motorcycles, TVS Motorcycles, Royal Enfield.

Takes courage and not paid reviews to call out big ICE company names!! Well done PII.. EV’s and alternative tech cars are the way forward.. oil and fuel mafia needs to stop their dominance once and for all.. the world’s very first car was an EV and they are here for good now, there’s no backing out!
The government needs to do more to encourage people to buy all electric vehicles.
Electric cars, electric bicycles, electric trucks, electric buses, electric delivery vehicles, electric motor cycles are the future.

Punch ev kab tk aa skta or kitna battery or price ke sth aiega?
Rather giving subsidy ,make public transport like buses ,train run by central government, corporation,state govt vehicles totally electric .It will help directly to common man. Reach people can afford EVs without subsidy also.
Metro is happening in multiple cities.
Subsidies for EVs are important until we have a strong local cell manufacturing ecosystem.
w.r.t- 1.41 Ik sir we should move towards electrification but as a company tata would be making cars that will be more market friendly moreover by definition gen 2 aree by default both ice+ev, so no point to raise questions against it.
Unapologetic bashing of auto makers for not reading the room.
We need more budget 2 and 4 wheeler EVs.
Please do some campaign to bring more charging facilities... Then no more ICE in India.... have more solar farms
Toyota and Honda are sleep walking into the future. They are looking to the past and projecting it forward.
EV adoption is accelerating every year. Exponential not linear. The only limiting factor is batteries.
The number of electric vehicles and types of vehicles and trucks is growing.
Electric vehicles are just better. No noise, no emissions, less fuel costs, less maintenance costs and amazing technology. Gasoline and diesel are OLD polluting technology. PHEVs still have a gasoline engine polluting the environment. Toyota and Honda will be late to the party. It will cost them market share, market value and future customers. There is a Climate Crisis. Young people will not buy petrol and diesel vehicles that add to the Climate Crisis. Toyota needs to learn a lesson from Nokia or Kodak. They will continue to lose market share until they do or they will go bankrupt.

I sympathize with your concern regarding the environment. We all observed the improvement in pollution during the lockdown. As I understand it , India vehicle parc is more that 80% two and three wheelers and these segments are launching different models of new electric 2 and 3 wheelers. It will take some time. With regard to the auto segment unlike Europe where people like a nice high performance EV, Indians are looking for affordability. So OEMs that will eventually do well are not those with lots of models but those with affordable 4 wheelers.

If all the companies in the list plan for multiple EV models in their portfolio and also launch affordable EVs for the common man. Then we would not have this conversation.
Unfortunately these OEMs are playing the “delay EV game” for next few years to keep the ICE business going. It’s disgusting and not helping India. Also None of these big auto channels are calling them out.

It is yet to be seen what will be the EV car sales in India once Fame 2 subsidy and many state subsidies are over. At that time if EC car prices are not brought down they will be nearly double the price of their ICE counterparts. Can a lower middle or middle class person in India afford even the starting range of EV cars if they sell without subsidies? Can they match the price of an Alto or Kwid?

Electric cars don’t get FAME subsidies for individuals.
All the Nexon and Tata sales that are happening are organic. That is because people are saving lakhs by not using Oil.
Regarding small affordable cars. Where are such cars?
All car companies are making large SUVs. The car companies are not creating cars for the common man.

Guys.. Please make content which might provide solutions to the infrastructure problem of India. I am sure lot of Indian car buyers want to buy EVs but not all of us own houses. Most of us rent or own a house in gated communities. Till the time the idea of community charges is not a reality, such videos are as good as Arnab Goswami debates. Lots of noise with no real substance to be taken seriously.
For Home charging overnight, we just need a 15A plug that is present near parking location. This is the cheapest and best way to charge. This also takes care of daily city commutes. Almost all Cars offer to setup a safe and secure (lockable) plug point at parking area. Also awareness has increased a lot and home owners don't block such setups. Many have already got it done. If you want a solution for you, it is possible. If you want to wait until everyone does it then you will be left waiting.
@@evthink As I mentioned, rental property, lower basement parking, Ground floor meter, 2nd floor house. I have to dangle the charger from my kitchen window and park the car in front of building entrance. Owners association is another pain in A**. Sorry to say this, It's not as simple as commenting on UA-cam video.
KT - Thousands of EV owners live in rental apartments. Most find simple ways of setting up a charge point at the parking location. We don’t dangle wires from the 6th floor or whatever. Find “electric vehicle and apartments” EV guru episode on the channel.

Mr Amit... being at auto expo involves huge costs due to which some manufacturers abstain.. i don't agree with you regarding Tata not to launch ice vehicles... even they need to make money when electric is not mainstream yet.. also people need to change perspective to buy electric.. i would request you to be patient. This video was not in a good intent.. it was just like mocking
It’s calling out these ICE companies.
Why is a company like Bajaj having thousands of crores - still have zero electric motorcycles in portfolio.
And no sight of Bajaj electric autos that can replace our noisy autos in our cities.
The BIG ICE companies can keep playing games. We will keep calling them out.

Tata has jumped first and hit the right cord.. but if they would have failed, we people would mock them and advise you could have tested more.. so i think 2025 is the sweet spot for democratizing ev's.. Any how you guys are doing good job.. kudos.. im an ather 450 users from 4 + years and a to be Nexon ev owner.. i am in for the ev movement
How can you even say that we don't need ice Cursed brother I travel 500 + Km every month we even do not have handful of EVS which can achieve this so right now we obviously cannot say that evees are so develop that we do not need Ice Car

What are you trying to say that Kia or OEMs are responsible for how your government creates customs tariffs ? If you are not happy with the prices of the cars. Ask politicians what is more important the environment or fake protectionism ?

We need to stop air pollution in our cities. You and I live a privileged life. But people are suffering due to ICE air pollution.
We need to reduce oil imports.
Electric vehicles are a solution today.
Its not just us. Multiple governments, scientists, professors are recommending full electrification for a better environment.
So yeah. Listen to them if you don’t want to listen to us.

@PluginIndia Electric Vehicles I agree bt we are generating electricity from coal so I dnt thnk EVs are totally green . Plus u cnt ignore the effects of Lithium mining on environment. May be in future we cn proudly say EVs are green source of transport

You called out MG for not launching the Air or a small e car. What about Tata, the brand that you sang paeans about ? Tata Motors is sitting in the minefield of a design - the Tata Nano. An electric Nano starting at 4 lacs (with 10 kWh battery pack) will completely set the Indian car market on fire.
It's mind boggling that Tatas are being so secretive about it.
Nope. Nano will not come out in the name of the safety. They have categorically told us. Sad.
Looks like you missed Suzuki EVx concept which production is about to take place in 2024. Also Toyota showcased BZ4x . Mahindra had already showcased their cars in London in 2022 so they did not participate in auto expo. Stop calling companies Anti India when they are manufacturing cars and providing employment to millions.
Lol. Soon Toyota will become a concept only manufacturer.

The guy's a little ignorant. Also WV or Škoda can import their current EVs to India, but this EV "advocate" will blame them for the prices, so they better fill the demand in the markets first when they can sell more.
