Automatic transmission I think is from arround 10 years , so with atleast 15 years from now automatic transmission will also upgrade with the efforts of intellegent human auto transmission development engineers.

I have a question, I have Tiago AMT when I realise that I have to stop car whether on redlight, etc. I tend to put the car from Drive to neutral before stopping the car. Is it okay or have any adverse effect? And when I come downhill I keep my car in neutral and manage brakes accordingly will that affect AMT transmission? Waiting for reply. Thanks.

I think when we stop at a red light the dct automatically disengages the clutch from the transmission as good as neutral so no need to put in neutral....is it right.
Is the half brake point applied on CVT too ???

I had the bad experience of battery dying in an automatic and not knowing about it much like others bystanders but thankfully i was at a petrol station, though it wasnt of much help but my family was safe in the night atleast!
Another issue that i would like to mention is that it is difficult if your tyre gets punctured and you have an automatic, many tyre change people wouldnt know how to take the tyre off for an automatic! It was a cumbersome thing i experienced in middle of nowhere while it happened and the tyre wala was in surprise at his inability to remove the tyre too.
Hi Sir, Recently I faced problem of battery drain in my Swift AMT. Since my car is under 2year old Maruti Authorized Dealer took battery for replacement. As I always carry separate tool box kit with my car and that helped me to start my car with someone's car battery. I think a jumper cables is useful while driving long trip

good video. Can you comment on buying electric car. Only issue which comes to my mind is driving long distance on highways as there will be problem of recharging the car and if one can not then you are stuck on highway once the battery is down.

Sports is also drive mode only but with change in torque band. Absolute no issues in changing from drive to sports mode
