I recently inherited a hogan similar to this one and I am so glad I came across your video! Can you list your supplies used? such as the partical board and the layer that went on top of that? I am going to attempt this on my own.
It's been a few years now, but it's still holding up ok. Maybe a redo in a few years. And if so, what could be done about any future shifting? I thought about going all concrete, maybe?
About 6 to 7 weekends. Not back to back. Had to travel from NM, so it was a process that took months. I figure if I was there full time it would have been a week, maybe less.
Cool👌. Me & my brotha in-law build one over tha winter but our is ground as a floor tho. Dat's beautiful tho buddy💯. So if I was 2 ask U 2 make our floor how much would U charge? I am also from Kayenta Arizona

Nice Job ShhhBuddy! Just started building my Hogan a few weeks ago.
My Great grandmothers floor was dirt ..... she would sprinkle water then sweep - that made the floors like concrete!

Awesome brotha. Great job.
Very nice. You should do an instructional video how to build a Hogan. I would like to redo my grandfather's Hogan someday.
I would love to do one, however, I don't see that opportunity coming up soon.
That's freakin awesome brotha.....
Wow, very cool video!

To be honest, building a floor out there is hard , since the sand is hard to get out or just to say in one spot.
