So far this has been the best Chicken Madeira recipe I’ve seen. I’ve done it a few times and my family and friends have enjoyed so much. You use the right ingredients, specially the Madeira Wine, which without it won’t taste the same. Some people use any other fortified wine from somewhere else but it has to be Madeira’s otherwise it won’t taste the same. By the way for those people that don’t know, Madeira wine comes from the beautiful Island of Madeira in Portugal and that’s why the wine and this wonderful dish got their name from. Well. Just made the dish and I and my must say….it is everything you said it was. The flavors and textures were wonderful. Another home run. I have a glass top electric stove which is how things are going in Ca. I noticed when reducing fluid it would boil and stop then boil again. I gave it a little more time than you instructed. Wish I had a gas stove. More consistent. Other than that it came together perfectly. Take a bow to another great meal. Thank you.
I really don't know how or where to start my comment. For some of us who are away from home, all these different dishes and desserts take things into a different level. Looks so delicious. I have made something similar to this, added a pat of cold butter right as i turned the heat off and it thickens the sauce slightly and makes it glisten and silky.

Hi there! I tweaked this a little because I don't use wine and didn't have the wine to begin with, but overall this recipe is so amazing. I also used chicken broth since I didn't have the other one. The lady we take care of, as caregivers, she loves it. I just made sure to saute the vegetables to be softer for her. Thank you so much!

TheGalaxyPanda 20 I think anything that she makes could go as a lunch it’s all about packing it right it’s what your kids like to eat maybe cutting out the sugar replacing it with a delicious fruit salad and a nice turkey cucumber avocado salad or sandwich it’s really easy I used to have to make all our lunches when I was growing up I remember my brother is late when I would pack celery and peanut butter or carrots with ranch

I couldn't find Madeira wine and liquor store only carried red version of this wine. I used Roscato wine and it tasted great
