How gratifying for Ali and the rest of the covers included here. It was particularly touching to watch her reaction in the midst of LJ listening to her. I confess, as the video began I grumbled to myself, “I suspect he won’t listen to any covers by women.”
Well I’m definitely gonna follow you and subscribe. I’ve got a couple bass covers over on one of my channels that I need to get back into doing and some vocal covers
Very well said! Everyone in the business seems to respect them. These guys absolutely blow up the stage at each show and yet are totally down to earth dudes 30 mins later hangin by the bus. Love these guys
I've seen Sevendust 30 times and met them most of those times and they never stopped being amazing. The best dudes. My favorite band ever. Lajon is the man.
@@ryangardocki6247 I haven't seen them in many years, but they used to anyway. I remember in like 99 or '00 at Bogarts in Cincy I walked across the street after the show with Cilnt and LJ and went to this little patio thing where someone was playing acoustic guitar to some patrons. Clint and LJ borrowed the dude's acoustic guitar and did a rendition of Edie Brickell's "What I am". Some of the most humble guys I've known.
I saw them once down here in louisiana, they played in vinton out of all places we were lined up out the door of some kind of cowboy bar lol.... and we moshed like crazy in that place
I was very humbled to find out that I was included in this. LJ, thanks so much for your kind words. You have been a true inspiration to me for quite a long while. This just continues to prove how amazing of a dude you are.
EFFeCTED18 Thanks dude! I really appreciate it! I’m currently in a local Rock project at the moment and we are working on banging out some songs so we can release an EP or LP here soon.
A lot of people have stated this here, but Sevendust are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. I met Lajon at a studio where our band was practicing. Sevendust was rehearsing to do "Angel's Son" on Letterman. Ran into Lajon in the hall and told him what a huge fan I was. I asked if he could come into our studio to say hello to the rest of the band. HE DID and spoke to us in for quite a bit in a manner that was so kind and humble. The fact that he took the time out to hang when he was still rehearsing for a major television show just blew my mind. I have never forgotten that moment. I hope they thrive for the rest of their careers, they deserve it.
Nicest and most down to earth rockers! Had a great story. In 2003, My girlfriend and I drove to Ft. Myers to see Sevendust and Trust Company. The show was sold out when we got there. In desperation, I walked to the tour bus in the back of Neptune’s(the Venue at the time) Morgan and Lajon opened the door to the bus. They asked me how come we weren’t in the club? I said the show is sold out. We drove all the way from Miami. Lajon and Morgan we’re both nice enough to usher us backstage into the crowd to see the show. Will never forget it.
Dudes seem legit and all around good people. I've seen them about 4 times and love these dudes. I would have loved to have seen Trust Company. I heard those dudes on a local college radio station one summer and got instantly hooked.
@@AlexCruz-mv1gj Man Trust Co was amazing...the singer didn't like to perform though so they broke up. Too bad they didn't last I would have loved to see a Sevendust Trust Co show.

Metal had many cycles, but not many bands are around and kicking from Sevendust's era. Most of the music hasn't aged well, but Sevendust and also LJ's lyrics have both aged like a smooth whisky. What a majestic progression throughout their career!

Sevendust are a phenomenal band and incredible people. I've been fortunate to meet and hang out with them a couple times. They're memories I'll have until the day I die.
I saw 7D with Creed and 3 doors down in Indy and wore a long sleeve black shirt with white tribals on the front back and sleeve. He was wearing a white wife beater with black tribal on the front and we were standing down on the fence next to the ego ramp. Long story short, LJ saw my shirt and pointed at me and then his shirt. Then, Vince came over and threw a pick at my face during Denial. I still have the pick. Couple years later, my band and I saw them in Cinci with Drowning Pool and got to meet them behind the venue. Coolest dudes I've met in a long time. I had them sign my pants since my shirt (same one from the first time) was black, so they all signed the leg. Clint signed it "Jean Claude VanDamme" since I had to do a karate kick to get my leg up to where he could sign it. One of my favorite memories was meeting them. Awesome band, still one of my favorites.
Sevendust has always been a down to earth, fan driven band. What I love about this video is how compelled LJ feels to sing along. Shows his love of music and fans!
By Far one of the most humble and coolest singers out there... He has the most incredible vocals... thanks for being a humble man to listen and appreciate your fans... SEVENDUST FOR US

I found Sevendust a yr ago at age 50. Now I listen to them daily it's a great way for me to get the work day started. Between Sevendust, Tool, Pantera, Deftones, and cant forget Korn my Boss love my work ethic and it keeps me in good spirits no matter what the day may offer. Thank you very much!!
There has never been a sevendust show that didn't blow my mind. They are such an amazing band, so loving and genuine. Their music save dmy life and I listen every single day❤️
i met Lajon at Welcome to Rockville 2016 and he was the shit! Very humble and respectful!!
Sevebdust deserves to be where they are. Very good cover i enjoyed them all thank you.
I’ll be seeing them in 2022 for the first time at Rockville, I’m so fucking excited!
Sevendust is one of my most favorite accessible metal bands.
Such an amazing dude! Had the pleasure of hanging with them on the tour bus and having some beers. All nice guys!
Lajon, you're the man! Thanks for this. Fun to see you love what the people do in respect to your excellent vocals.
I love Sevendust !!! A must see live if never did!
This dude's so fuckin cool. Met him at a show in like '98 or '99, just walking around the crowd. Super down to earth guy.
I LOVE how LJ sings along with the people instead of talking over the top of them. 7D For life!
LJ is such a great guy. What a nice thing to do for fans. Sevendust fan since 90's. Saw them in Toronto, Vegas and LA! Love these guys.
Man. This makes me respect him so much. Glad to see he is down to earth and in tune with his fan base
SEVENDUST FOR US
Lajon. We partied in 1997. At the gone Boathouse in Norfolk Va. I have seen you guys 37 times. You are the coolest bro, and Rose. I just wanna thank you all for being so accepting to dock my Uncles boat and come aboard. Before the boathouse got destroyed by hurricane Isabel I know you destroyed it, especially with Rumble Fish
