Excuse me sir but how can you say you don’t see a change or any difference? A blind person could see how you have physically become a new person. You are a living breathing testimony to the results of that procedure you had done. Stop selling yourself short, you traveled a rough road & your new, slimmer body is the amazing reward. My hat goes off to you & your beautiful wife for taking such an important decision to improve your health. God bless you both.

I have been obese for about 20 years (at my highest right now 275) I was diagnosed with IIH about 6 months ago and was immediately put on Diamox. For years my doctor has suggested weightloss surgery but IIH was the deciding factor to get gastric bypass. Recently I have been having extreme fatigue and for someone that hates napping it's depressing. I didn't put two-and-two together until I watched this video.... I guess it's time to get back on Diamox (despise taking medication). I just completed all insurance prerequisites and am currently waiting to get my surgery date. I am excited and hope to be in remission this year.

Diamox was a wild ride for me. It worked great for about 3-4 months and then it started making me feel worse instead of better, even when we played with the dosage. At any rate, best of luck on your own journey. I’ll keep my fingers crossed for you!

I loved your video. One of the best I've watched. I am 4 weeks out of surgery and down 50 pounds since pre op diet.

So much of this makes me so so happy for you. Being chronically ill is so difficult and isolating. I really hope you continue to improve and can get more of your life back.

Wow so proud of you and you are such a motivation 🙏🙌💪 did the weight loss help with the IIH ? Currently on a weight loss journey and hoping it puts my IIH into remission 🙏

It cured the headaches almost immediately and it dramatically improved my light and sound sensitivities (though not completely cured). The tinnitus stuck around for another year or so. I ended up getting a myringotomy, which drained fluid that had leaked into my eustachian tube, which finally solved the problem. I still struggle with fatigue issues, but I was recently diagnosed with POTS and MCAS in addition to me/cfs, so IIH probably isn't to blame for that. I'm sorry to hear you also struggle with IIH. Wishing you the best of luck in finding relief!

Mark, I didn't know you did triathlons while morbidly obese. That's super interesting!
