Everyone send good vibes towards Johnathan Davis.. he's struggling with his health after his bout with covid right now and needs all the support he can get!!!
Im going to miss there show tomorrow here in cleveland i have tickets for the pit section and i broke my ankle and my and my wife can't make it im so sad 🥺🥺
@@riffdagg6701 More of a precursor I would say. Faith No More and Biohazard as well kind of influenced it. I would even throw RHCP in there too. But no one did the rap metal thing better than Rage.
Korn “issues” album has probably some of the best bass in a rock record. Even some of the short interludes has some insane bass-work. Listening to this on stereo, speaker, and especially with headphones you’ll get the fullest experience
Absolutely, you listen to the song “Hey Daddy” and you get that bass to a T man. Underrated Korn song also very dark lyrically. Great groove and bounce.
Alex...Please just do the whole album "Issues" by KoRn. Then do "Untouchables," Then do "Follow the Leader," Then do "Take a Look In the Mirror," then do "Life is Peachy," then do their self titled album, "KoRn." These Guys are the F---ing Best, Ever!! Love 'Em!! Have a Dope Ass Day, and get on the KoRn train! Thank you.
So glad you checked this out Alex. I've been listening to Korn since 1996 and Jonathan's lyrics and their songs helped survive my youth. Made me feel like I wasn't the only one going through some of the emotional pain and anger Jon describes in the music.
It’s near impossible to explain to someone how certain music has probably saved your life or at least definitely helped you cope through a lot by giving a relatable outlet that definitely steered you away from a whole lot worse future. In my case the year was 1999, but whether or not people understand it, KoRn pushed me through the stage of life where it could have gone downhill in hundred different ways. I still believe I may owe this band my life as it is, if not the whole concept of life. Back then ‘Who Then Now’ also brought the guys ‘closer’ and made them even more relatable, so it felt even natural to let the crew deal with your emotions and insecurities and help you find peace.
Fieldy is a genius, he is unmatched in metal on the bass. Adds a totally unique element to their music that nobody else can get near. Their groove is crazy.
I 100% agree, issues is definitely my favorite Korn album... It has a perfect mix of their heavier side and more experimental sounds, not to mention the song writing on this album is perhaps the best in their career
Yes! Awesome! ❤ it! I actually have gotten free tickets to see them, my mom worked at a dry cleaners of all places and recognized their tour clothes. When they came to pick the clothes up she told them what a fan she was and they put us on "the list" and we got VIP treatment and I also caught a drumstick.
Let’s gooo another reaction! Alex I’ve been listening to POD a lot and their song “youth of the nation” is quite possibly a song that is needed more now than ever
I’m a HUGE KoRn fan, they are my favorite band ever. Please everyone send some love ❤️ to Jonathan Davis he is fighting COVID issues right now and I’m praying 🙏 so hard he will be okay.
This will always be one of the most emotional songs for me. Hearing his pain just gets to me. I find Shoots and ladders and A.D.I.D.A.S super awesome too 😊
Definitely one of the unique songs ever made by Korn and Jonathan Davies voices is legendary and one of a kind, React to "beat it upright" & "hollow life" 🖤🤘
Untouchables was my first full album too, it was my favourite for ages, and Hollow Life is definitely one of their best! I think Issues is actually their best album now... but they have so many great albums and songs!
Just saw Korn in concert last night, Jonathan Davis is still recovering from getting Covid at the beginning of the month so he sat in a throne (literally a throne) for a lot of the concert but it was still amazing
@@sjescone It was great, it wasn't super packed possibly because of COVID concerns, it was Staind and Korn and I gotta say, Korn puts on a better show (not that Staind was bad)
@@FlareDarkStormGem I just saw Korn too. Whered you see them and stained? And the show was incredible, poor guy is still getting better but he's putting damn all hes got in it even through this.
Fieldy is an amazing bassist!!! Jonathan Davis has such a unique voice and that's what made me love them so much since I was a kid and my favorite band ever.
YES!!! Korn is back!!! I'm just waiting for the comeback of SOAD on the channel, I'll kee my suggestion of SOAD MIND, Since 2018 I'm suggesting this song, its a good song! I miss your SOAD reactions
Give J Devil some love. He is busting his ass for the fans right now. Love Korn and they amazing live. This was an awesome reaction video. I say do every Korn song you can find.
Korn!!!!!!!!! YES! They are my number one. I just identify with so many of their songs. Not to mention they have this great crunchy groove sound I love.
Alex: let me know any Korn songs you want me to check out. Me: all of them! Lol Korn has a huge music library full of great music! Dive right in my man!
The breakdown in Somebody Someone is to this day, my favorite Korn breakdown. The first time I heard that breakdown I had to pause the song and rewind so I can headbang appropriately.
Issues is definitely one of my top 3 fav albums from Korn! Not sure if you've already heard them but Dirty (from Issues) and Throw Me Away (from See You On the Other Side) are both really good! Much love to you man!
I sure hope, JD pulls through, he's struggling, Korn was the band that got me into metal been a korn kid since 98! sending good vibes to him he needs it we already lost Joes Jordison can't lose JD
I'm very happy to see Korn back on the channel homie. Love this song alot always have. Jonathan davis is the goat, fieldy's bass always stands out and head's backup vocals are always perfect. Head and munky are in my opinion the greatest guitar duo ever. 🤘🤘🔥🔥🔥🔥
Jonathan usually writes all the lyrics (though some of the newer stuff Head has had a hand in) and generally speaking Fieldy and Munky writes most of the music for the band; which is why the bass is so heavily featured and it only becomes more noticeable with their drop D tuning for the low guttural, hollow sounding guitar notes. What I like is for how good the bass is Fieldy doesn't let it take center stage or take away from the rest of the band's talents. They all have input on their own sections.
YOUR FIRST TIME?! MAN, YOUVE BEEN MISSING OUT! I just saw Korn and Staind when they kicked off their tour in the beginning of August before Jonathan got sick with covid. It was an epic show in Alpharetta, Ga! Long Live Jonathan Davis & Aaron Lewis! 🖤

Oh shit.. Really? I did not know that. I hope he gets better, because KoRn is my favorite band and Jonathan Davis has such a unique amazing voice.
Saw them live Saturday! He was sitting for most of the show but he STILL sounded great and put on a good show
Im going to miss there show tomorrow here in cleveland i have tickets for the pit section and i broke my ankle and my and my wife can't make it im so sad 🥺🥺
I love how he talks about originality. Korn was so different when it started they had to make a new genre to describe them. The birth of Nu-metal.
Absolutely. Originality for me is the number one thing I look for in a band.
Which the band hated to be called. "Don't label me" l.a.p.d
I thought Rage Against The Machine were the originators of Nu Metal.

Johnathan Davis (Korn) has a great solo song called “What it is”
The whole album is amazing
Fieldy is a fantastic bassist. Ryan Martinie of Mudvayne is one of the most underrated bassists in the business HANDS DOWN!!
Ryan Martinie is my favorite new metal bass player. I love Sam Rivers too.
I saw this premiere on Total Request Live on MTV! Freak on a leash, falling away from me to somebody someone. This is 2000 KoRn, 4th album.
Issues released in late '99 right before the millenium was up.
