I agree I think Morgott is such an under appreciated character , he is all about persistence and staying true to the order that indoctrinated him even though was shunned for his appearanced and treated different, his speech before the leyndell fight was awesome and the camera zoom in on his cane breaking apart to form his sword was anime as hell, 10/10 as far as From boss intros go
Morgott is one of the most relatable chatacters in this game, mother doesnt love him, pretty much nobody loves him, people think he shouldve never been born AND he has ever growing horns.
That Renalla grace thing is similar to a glitch I had recently. I killed Mohg, went to warp, and noticed I had the Placidusax grace unlocked, even though I hadn’t killed him yet. I teleported there, and the guy spawned right on top of me, killing me and trapping me there until I killed him. Fortunately, I was holding the Death’s Poker, so the situation ended rather favorably.
The golden weapons Morgott uses are all available in-game. They’re the Erdsteel Dagger, Lordsworn Greatsword, Treespear, and Giant Crusher. Obviously the player is not as good at dual-wielding as he is, but still.
Well, yes and no. Pretty sure Tulok talks about the skills he uses, not the weapon models. But hey, at least we can make them glow similarly with the holy buff, so that´s that. We finally get the winged crucible dive as icant, so maybe we get that stuff too ? Unlikely, but hope dies last... And even if, likely it will be very niché and bad to use anyway XD

I remember it saying he was the first to die… but who or what says that Godwyn was firstborn? This is sortve interesting information because it would put something of a timeline on Messmer and Melina’s birth. And it’s especially interesting because while it’s assumed the Omen twins are Godfrey’s kids, they have “M” names, like the Marika x Marika crowd.

I have made a habit of respeccing all my builds to MCS builds when I beat the game and enter NG+. I love this weapon more than anything else in the game, and Im so happy to finally see it on this channel :D
I think Morgotts Blade can use Rotten Sword Insignia and Millicents prosthesis since it does multiple hits per each attack of the ash of war. Plus after you do the ash of war, you can do heavy r1 and a r1 true combo. This weapon is such a goat weapon!
Maybe the Renalla glitch happened because you warped out before she finished her post-fight dialogue? So the game was like "How dare you leave, listen to her voice lines!" and put you back in the next time you loaded into Raya Lucaria? IDK, just a theory.
I’ve accidentally wrong warped to Renala’s room as well, I was playing coop and the host died, and on returning I spawned inside the room with the fight loaded but not triggered. Something must be a bit wonky with the academy spawn logic on this patch.
You should do a playthrough as one of the little erdtree guardian guys, gives you an excuse to use the Guardians Swordspear, and that thing is so fun to use.
If you end up doing a viewer build showcase "The No Retreat Build" RL150 Hero starting class Vigor-60 Mind-14 Endurance-40 Strength-80 Base stats for the rest. Physicks-Spiked Cracked Tear, Opaline HARDtear Talismans-Axe,Viridian+2,Erdtree+2,Dragoncrest Great shield Armor-Omensmirk Mask, Banished Knights Armor(altered), Veterans Greaves, Veterans Gauntlets 2H Great Mace(Endure) Because of the low cost of Endure you will not need blue flasks so you get all 14 healing flasks. It's a simple and effective build really, use Endure then charge up a heavy then repeat. If you need to heal there is no reason to back off, just use Endure and drink. The high amount of stamina that you have will allow you to keep fighting. Edit- swap out Erdtree Favor +2 with whatever elemental drake Talisman+2 is needed. Like HaliDrake +2 for Elden Beast, Spelldrake+2 for Loretta, etc etc...
Random fun fact about castle sol and commander Niall to make them a bit more bearable, Niall’s name is a wheel of time reference and castle sol is a reference to the children of light.

That happened to me too! I could warp to his boss area but I hadn't fought him yet and was stuck in the boss area until I killed Placi 😅
