- Happy New Years everyone, to start off the year we are kicking it off by installing our new Mugen CFRP hood. Hope you get some tips on removing your stock wing. Your totally rite about one day dreaming of putting Mugen or Spoon Sports parts on my Type-R, let alone owning a Type-R which I'm lucky enough to say that I just got my '21 CW about a month ago and I'm still pinching myself everytime I see it in my garage. The Spoon Sports Civic Type-R (EK9) in Gran Turismo 2 was the one that started my Honda loving craze for me when I was just a kid. That car screaming to 14k RPM's, if my memory serves me right after a tune, in the game was what got me hooked on Honda ever since. I wish you the best with the car. Its practically the same setup I hope to have on my car one day.
Scott Zellner is the man. He goes above and beyond for his customers. I have the honor and privilege living only 15 minutes away from King Motorsports Unlimited. I am a kid in a candy store every time I go there.

I love videos like this showing the step by step process on the engineering behind everything! I love doing the same thing on my channel as well! It dope to see Mugen doing a similar process for the 8thgen Si OEM Mugen Wing covering the holes and the circle pads etc.. Smart man getting everything PPF! It dope seeing the mugen kit come to get there.. I am going to something a little different with my Type R..

I would recommend calling them or reaching out to the though Instagram. Wing is not on their site yet. I do believe wing is to be purchased then they will order it.. but don’t quote me. 🤙🏽

i would be lying if i said i feel anything...i don't push my car that much to notice a difference in down force... no track in Hawaii. But knowing Mugen everything is functional!
