Holy smokes man, every flight and edit just keeps getting better and better! I love the slow inverted yaws it has such a cool look to it, nothing against fast inverted yaws but I like the slow ones better
Attaboy! You're definitely not "trash" anymore! LOL! I started watching your videos because we started on our FPV journeys around the same time. You started a little bit before me, but seeing your improvement and comparing it to my own, has really been inspirational. I'm still not quite as good as you've gotten but I'm getting pretty darn close! Maybe I'll have to start a UA-cam channel pretty soon LOL!
Well, I've had a similar dilemma and for customer work or portfolio always take HERO 10. But for the fun & practice session you can always try O3 AU and small pack like 1050 mAh Tattu - 560 g super agile, light and pure fun of flying light. With ND 16 and Shutter 1/120 sec. the propps view is not so disturbing. Dead Cat frame is also sort of solution. Fingers crossed, you doing really nice!
Now get the RadioMaster Boxer! I switched to it from the RC2 and soooo much more smoother and better hover control. Also my simrates are close to 1000. Now im trying lower rates. To get a feel for them. A tip I learned to set your rates is as follows: close your eyes and do a roll, see how close you get to a full roll and adjust rates, see what feels natural for you. This way, you get more a feel for what you do then visually adjust if your roll is to short. This way, timing will be a lot better, since you know how long it takes for a roll then to see when you completed a roll.
Update on geting my boxer: I have only tried it in Liftoff so far, but switching to full size gimbals on the Boxer INSTANTLY improved my flying! All of a sudden, I could fly smooth, fast, in proximity of objects and the ground, and I was hitting gaps and dives that I would just barely miss with the RC2. I wish I could fly the Avata with it IRL! I can't wait to try it out with the quad I'm working on now!
@@Photonees I use Actual rates and I am still kind of figuring them out. Right now on Roll I'm at 60-900-.70 pitch is 60-750-.70 and yaw is 100-600-.60 I like them so far. kinda soft in the middle but not too soft with plenty of speed at the end of the stick for snap movements.
Dude i have been watching this guy senes 50 subs and hes growing so fast!!! i love your videos sm, also what music do you use for videos i wanna make freestyle vids but dont want a copyright cliam lol
Thank you 🤘 Music is random, sometimes from UA-cam. Some from artlist. Copyright doesn’t really matter unless you are gonna monetize, which I can’t so 🤷♂️
@@andrewmedia3568 oh yea, well I can right. I have met qualifications lol. But even if you’re not qualified for money, you can still get a copyright strike would make it harder to even make money when you can.
I have been one of the voices who suggested to leave that GoPro off and I still would suggest it. I do understand your point thou. Since there is no right or wrong, it is up to you. Anyways, there is an audience who is into seeing you ripping that quad as hard as you can and a group, that is easily impressed by cinematic aerial footage. The freestyle community likes to see your stick input and metrics from your FPV, while other like to get aesthetically pleased with artificial smoothed moves. I'd suggest, keep these things separate and focus on either one or the other skill. A cinematic flight has only some few smooth freestyle moves in it. Where as a freestyle flight does not have to please the FPV pilot community. We know how it looks and a low-res in Google analog view is even more impressive in some circumstances. I do actually also prefer the look of the GoPro over the DJI onboard recording, but I would not risk my GoPro during training flights. That's just my more in depth explanation.
So weird that UA-cam hides so many small creators - and by small I mean anyone sub 5K subs for the most part. Personally Dshot deserves a shot and I hope he gets there. Like most, Lori and I just keep on doing our best to find our way in a very crowded niche that we love. Very cool of you to promote small channels!!! Love you for that (and the education on drone laws and rules too)!
Yua rates make all the difference . i fly 1550 pitch roll yaw is 550 center rate is 750 pitch roll 700 yaw. i love the control i have.I use Actual Rates not Betaflight much better actual rates is. should come give me a follow also bro .happy Freestyling keep up the practice it pays off.
Unless the penetration is really absolutely needed, then I don't see the point of spending all that much more money on the 03 if you're still going to use the gopro
Alright subbed n liked bro I like your slow inverted yaws as you slowly pitch out of it.. ima steal that :) Nice man Cheers from aus come check me out ill give u a shoutout too Keep shreddin
practise makes perfect, I'm enjoying watching you progress. your yaw control is on point.

Love it! Good tunes and flying. Keep at it!
Agree with Sean - fun intro! New sub - YT is sooooooooo hard so keep at it and hopefully we all find our way.
1:52 OUCH!!!
It seems as if the O3 Air Unit is a pain to get vibration-free recordings consistently, with confidence.
Great video! Geeksvana sent me. 😎🤘
So much Improvement in such a short time!

Thumb up for Daft Punk. One of my all-time favorite groups. Great video too.

Nice that makes sense. I have a zorro rc on the way, should still be better than the rc2.
My Boxer arrives tomorrow! I can't wait!

Try clear or transparent props, and there is videos that compare the hero11 to the 03 and you couldn't tell a difference.

GoPro definitely looks better, keep it.
It's still hard for me to believe that's what yall see flying digital. My analog setup is so out of date
It’s not quite that good. But still very close.
