Maybe this is a dumb share bc everyone knows, but what I found out about CJL is that if you use TFT before the key is activated, you keep your Buff for CJL. So basically you get instant 2 stacks at start of the m+ run. If you press TFT while the 10s timer for the run to start is counting down, then you lose the CJL buff and TFT is sadly than in cd.
Yeah what i do is i basically press tft twice as soon as I log in, then I press it after each key. This way you have 2 charges for the first pull in a dungeon, then can use your tfts still for more!
Hi LB, have always loved your content. Since 11.0.5 I've been toying with this build. It's basically a rushing wind kick reset playstyle. So rushing wind kick, peer into peace and Shahao's lessons with 1 minute Chi'j and dance of Chi'ji. At first I thought it would lack healing, but it's actually great. It's the most fun build I've tried yet and I've been running 11s-12s with it. I'd love to see you play it. Prio is resetting RWK, and keeping the dance of Chi'ji procs for when more healing is required. The build revolves around Dance of Chi'ji for AOE packs and Peer into Peace for bosses. The best thing about this build is that if you are on top of RWK resets + Shahao's lessons, the damage has been higher than Jade Empowerment. Build link below.
Dude...just echoing the comments of many others...but your videos are by far the best out there...the detailed explanations are incredibly valuable...I am a huge MW fan as a result. Thank you sensei!
Ngl. Just got back into MW since Legion and I HATED fistweaving and I never did it. This video actually made me understand it. Lol makes so much sense. Ty and great video.
There are so many different uses for MoH. I think if you recorded a dungeon walking people though your thoughts on larger pulls and bosses it would give you the ability to really show how useful MoH really is.
Man I love your content, great teacher! I'm 2500 and still learning, your video gives me some "didn't think of that" and some "didn't know that" (viv cleaving on the target itself if it has rm). Love MW but struggling at GB10 last boss still. Open for Tipps on which graphics settings help when soup and 2 debuffs go out
As someone whos late to the party and only just done GB on an 11, (So someone please correct me if im wrong) the biggest thing is to handle those 2 debuffs is to make sure you are prespread. If people are stacking the debuffs up, and not using a defensive, or worst, you have to move because you are stacked ontop of them, then someone is likely to die. You cant guarentee the rest of the group finds a free segment at that key level, but if you are able to find a spot away from them, its going to be much easier on you. As for the big aoe damage later in the fight. The boss spawns those adds right before the aoe. When those adds die, they actually increase the shadow damage the group takes for each add that dies, so hopefully your group doesnt go full aoe mode and kill all the adds before the aoe happens. If they do, you will probably need a big sheiluns mid way through the damage. Else if theres still a bunch of adds up, a jade empowered CJL is great for healing it. I also like to go into my bigwigs settings and tick the countdown box for all dangerous boss mechanics. That way, I can preemptively pop a defensive or set up my renewning mists without having to pay attention to the timers.
@delaxes Thanks for the tips, didn't think about the countdown on major AoE. I think I'll record our tries as well, I believe my tank buddy also drags the boss into the center of the circle, which blocks the view on tentacles and the group, but I'll have to compare to high key videos here if that's normal. Maybe the silhouette option will help with that
this was very helpful i didn't know about the chiji front loading b4 you cast it i'm also VERY VERY VERY new to the class and im having all sorts of issues learning it to the point i'm ready to give up. i don't want to quit it id love to see maybe more videos of playing the spec with the why we're doing what we're doing or some more training dummy with explanation's of how the talents are working together like you did in this video ...of course i could just go read a wowhead guide but i enjoy or videos more
One thing that really helped me with MW was using help/harm mouse over macros. You can combine your spells to reduce kebinds by a lot. I bind tiger palm and soothing mist, blackout kick with vivify, and spinning crane with enveloping mist. Also touch of death with chi cocoon. That's four kebinds you save.
How do you usually use chi-ji? Do you just heal with it with 4stack tiger Palm and black out kick, or do you also use the enveloping mist free casts in between blackout kicks? If you use both - in which situation do you use the one vs the other. :) Do you also stack 4 stacks tiger Palm for black out kick, or only one time tiger Palm to 2 stacks.
I use the envm! The cool thing about chiji is that it's basically modal. To get the most healing out of it, you need to use the enveloping mists to have the boosted healing out. But if you fight a mechanic that is basically just two slams of damage, you can chiji before the first slam, blackout kick, envm, tp, tp, then the second slam happens and you blackout kick again. Or if the event you're using chiji on is big pulsing aoe damage over 8 seconds, you chiji before the damage, damage starts, bok, envm, tp>bok>envm over and over. You basically adapt your rotation to how you need the healing. If you need more healing AT A SPECIFIC MOMENT, stack up your tiger palm for more burst healing from bok. If you just need the max healing for the whole window, get to three kicks>enveloping mist over and over
Hi! I love the master of harmony build in m+, it brings so much extra damage and the healing is also great. Could you do a video on MoH in a raid, both with the talent build and more rotational? I would love to try this in raid also :)
oop first comment - your guides have been world changing for me when it comes to Mistweaving. Big shout out. Edit to ask: whats the addon or WA you use to make sure youre standing in your jade fire stomp? the one i was using no longer seems to work. 2nd Edit: I learned today that if you have your Serpent Mist Statue will continue to Sooth Mist the player you target even if you're no longer casting Sooth Mist!
Haha no worries! also I was even going to include that about the statue! Sometimes if I'm running it inca key, I'll just tap soothing mist on the tank so the statue has something to do lol!
You mentioned waiting until your vitality is almost full to use it, so does that mean that you're sitting on Thunderfocus Tea? Everytime you use TFT it starts unleashing stored vitality and I keep TFT rolling, not sitting on it at all in dugeons. I mean the vitality does build up fast but am I misunderstanding how you use it?
Think of Vitality is a DPS or healing boost. He is using it when full or close to full to get the most out of it. You can just send TFT out often to get the buff for crackling or for secret infusion if you want. Remember using TFT when there are no targets to hit or heal just burns vitality that could be used for. that reason.
Is there a simple answer as to what Hero talent spec is better for M+ progression? Assuming you're a "decent" player of both? Or for sweats, I guess it is dungeon dependent?
@@mattiavellii I see Celestial as the priority for every dungeon for every guide I can find. But I like the feel if MoH, it's like ShadoPan for Windwalker.
