@@aralee6797 I am certain. Paralysis will not prevent combat from triggering if you get too close (like DH imprison) so you can still aggro mobs that are in Para but Para the ability itself will not trigger.
Used to main Rsham for years, and you are literally the only reason i gave MW a try 2 seasons ago and since then i never swapped classes again. God good there is just something about instant casts gameplay and punching your targets to heal the hunter in narnia, i will die fistweaving in this game, it is literally the most fun i’ve ever had playing and i still do every day. Also i know its situational and not usually taken talent since its RNG, but the feeling when you are in a 10+ mobs pull and you Jadefire stomp into RSK dance proc and u heal full party from 20% to 100% in a second is always gonna be so stupidly satisfying oh my lord. Thank you for everything you do, you’re amazing, funny and an absolute gem to mistweavers.
One of the best parts of maining Mistweaver this season is that Megasett makes videos for Mistweaver. Thank you for the amazing content you give the MW community 😊
Thanks for all you do Meg! I wanted to say that I like playing a different healer each season BUT I still watch your guides. I have a special place in my heart for monks because of you. I'll be leveling up a monk after I play rsham for a couple months.
Thing i love the most about your guides and your content about mw in general is that you dont post stupid thumbnails promoting OP builds and GAMECHANGING buffs. Keep it this way, you're an absolute gem in this community
Thanks for the video, just started healing first time ever and on a MW class;im new to both. I just got to say its very fun class to play and this guide helped a lot, appreciate it.
To my favourite Mistweaver player, thank you so much for your guides Meg. 🎉 It is highly appreciated, and I look forward to them every tier - and when changes happen! Keep doing what you are doing! - Mao
Came across this channel trying to learn this spec. SUPER helpful and makes it look fun. Going to keep at it till i get this down, Appreciate the guide. Earned a Sub.
Wow, your guide is very impressive! Makes me wanna try out monk healing again. I did about one dungeon years back and didn't understand the class at all. After that I've seen some monks do amazingly while other completely lack in every aspect. I suppose this has to do with the unique playing style which you explain very well here. Thanks!
Great Video and i have to say, the stylistic direction the channel is taking is absolutely great. i *love* the background with the music and the whole theme, especially with the new profile pic. Really cool :D
thx to you when i start play monk i could get every usefull information and finish the season with 3k6 s3 (pretty happy about it knowing was hard to go higher with work in the midle 😂). keep going, love the way you focus on every important point always great vidéos 👍
Thanks for this meg! You make me wanna main mistweaver so badly and its so hard for me to play but this huide really made me understand more im still meh atm but truely helped ❤
Thank you for the guide! I'm a really scared and easily confused Priest who aspires to graduate to MW someday, your content has been a good foot in the door.
I have picked mw to give it a try this season, I play mostly other classes dps but have enjoyed holy pala a lot in the past and had an itch to return to healing, saw the spec was interesting and have been trying it out and enjoying a lot, was a little confused (and still am lol) about how to efficiently playing it, this video is awesome and I'm super excited to learn it all (it seems like a lot but i like the challenge). Awesome video! Subbed and followed on twitch ;)
Found out about you from The Poddy C. After hearing you talk about how fun monk is there I finally tried it. And boy oh boy you were right. I’m now a reformed Resto Druid Main to Mistweaver Monk main. Just stopping by to say thanks.
What a great guide! I’m quite new to healing but I really want to give Mistweaver a try because it looks really fun and I like the theming. The guide was very easy to understand and well put-together! Would you consider maybe uploading a walktrough from an actual M+ (when they’re available) so that the concepts presented in the video could be demonstrated? I think it would make things even clearer. Great job!
Another good thing to note might be, that if you have misplanned or accidently used your cds and dont have anything for group wide dmg that is coming up, storing 2 zen pulses and having renewing mist on everyone might get you through as well (but definitely not rely on it^^)
I think Jade Bond might see play in TWW if you play CotC. You can still cover every 30 second damage event via chiji, sheilun's, and CotC if alternated properly-- and this allows chiji to become substantially more powerful in M+. The CDR provided by Jade Bond brings the CD down just enough
Have not leveled a monk in WoW yet. I was very against the whole mop expansion but here we are in 2024 and I’m ready to keep an open mind and maybe give this a try.
Great guide. I think you overlooked zen pulse cleave when responding to group dmg. I’d use those up before I switch to SM > apply HoTs, assuming I’ve done a good job of spreading RM.
I didn't want to overload people with info on passives but since ZP is a proc I also didn't include it since it will just be happening with Vivify casts. If I included every single interaction I think it'd be too overwhelming, even some people found this video to be "too much" info at once.
Right on. I disagree that the video was too much. I thought it was a solid overview. I just think ZP might be an exception; it’s pretty much a mandatory talent, and the cleave healing is the most potent move you can make before you start dipping into CDs. Either way, great video. Thanks for the reply!
Omg. I thought mana tea and thunder focus tea were the same thing. I can't believe I've not been using mana tea in m+ and thinking my mana sucks for weeks now.
When would you recommend actually talenting into Soothing Mist in keys? Similarly, if you take Soothing Mist ever, do you also usually take Peer into Peace with it? If you don't take Soothing Mist, is it viable to spam Vivify or do you really only use it with Vivacious Vivification? Been following for quite a while despite not playing MW, think I might pick it up in TWW.
I'll likely still take it in situations like Mists where the Mistveil Bite is a heavy hitting dot (until it becomes unhealable) as well as in Grim Batol where there's a large heal absorb, there's other examples but basically any situation that is similar to those, they just came to mind first. PiP would be considered if there's ever multiple instances of damage taken like the examples of Mists/Grim Batol and you need to be swapping between multiple targets. Last boss of Siege comes to mind with the debuffs since you'll occasionally end up with 2 without a dispel. If you don't take SooM and you need to do a lot of ST healing you can use EnvM and then spam Vivify regardless of if you have VV active or not
Hey, quick note, Paralysis now does trigger combat if the soothe talent is taken (at least on brew, but I assume it's same for mw). Not sure if it's a bug, I assume that's likely, but need to care a lot with it :)
Considering what a massive amount of healing that gusts of mists is now, why isn't resplendent mists (30% chance for 75% more gusts healing) basically mandatory? That's over 20% more healing to gusts of mists
I am already feeling icky playing without soom for instant vivs available. I pug my higher keys and there seem to be groups where it is 100% necessary to take soom and then groups where you could easily go without. I cannot see myself dropping it easily just in case I get players that enjoy standing in all the fun ground effects in my group. Then again I haven't played with hero talents yet so maybe I will be changing my tune at level 80.
I hope you are still answering questions: for example im in an aoe scenario with 5 or more mobs and the group is also taking aoe damage and i pop chi-ji. Am i building teachings stacks and doing healing with spinning crane kick or with tiger palm and blackout kick? What is the the best way to get high hps with chi-ji in an aoe dmg scenario?
@@murrloc1859 check Meg’s BH run video and skip to the last trash pack before the first boss for reference. Thank you for this amazing guide ! I have one question about the 1 target dammage rotation : refreshing JFS for august dynasty proc (while tracking the internal cd of 8sec) should be worth or not ? And do you have a weakaura that track this internal cd (or is it worthless) ? HF everyone !!
I've noticed the icon for renewing mist has extra art on it during chi harmony (looks like the talent node) then reverts to a normal looking renewing mist icon when chi harmony is over on someone. Unfortunately they look really similar and unless your indicators are giant its pretty hard to tell but its there. Definitely interested in a separate tracker for it like when it was a tier set effect though.
Due to the cleave mechanics it has more potential healing than Yu’lon, but even with ST you can still effectively spread EnvM/EnvB how you would with Yu’lon without sacrificing the other healing profile and the anti root mechanics that come with Chi-ji
Do abilities that increase vivify healing also increase the vivify cleave healing? I have always been curious if the cleave to RM targets is separate from the MT heal, as the tool tip states a specific amount rather than a % amount of initial heal.
Paralysis with Pressure Points will no longer trigger combat ~ now we can use this as a skipping tool and a soothe at the same time!
Are you certain? This is still happening to me as of yesterday 9/29/24. Maybe I'm doing it wrong?
