I feel as though there is much more responsibility on the tanks and dps to not stand in fire. The amount of dungeons and raids where I can barely keep up regardless if on my restore shaman or holy pally is crazy. I've even been called out a few times which I felt was pretty unfair. Maybe people are just used to the older wow where we could just heal through everything. And on another note, I feel the HoT healers have an advantage in this season due to how bursty the damage is and how hard it is to move health bars sometimes. I mained resto druid for the longest time but I felt really weak this time around. Resto shaman feels the best so far. My monk is at 72. Might pump her to 80 and see how it goes.
DOnt worry, they were slowing down healing, thatys why we have 4x the health we should have. Dont worry, it fixed healing. Blizzard knows what they are doing for sure.
Just did my first 9 grim batol this season, which was fortified. The dual lavabender pack was rough, and so was the mobs that do the focus target. took 42 mins, but we got it done! Keep up the great content, ty!
The last boss in arakara just felt horrible when I was doing it for the first time, I wiped us twice with revival on the poisons cuz people just wiggle around like crazy and then I died like 5 times on the pull-in mechanic before I realized that chi-ji makes me entirely immune to cc and with that unable to root myself in the puddles
Blizz went all out with dungeons that need tight group coordination this season. None of them seem terribly horrible for healing or even DPS checks but man if the group isn't 100% on top of everything from interrupts to positioning, the key is guaranteed dead.
This season is really punishing to groups that have a selfish player refusing to do their job. Whether it's an interrupt, boss mechanics or the affix, a group can fall apart quite quickly due to people's laziness.
I'm having a hard time with consistent aoe healing output as mistweaver (especially the last boss of grim batol). I'm not sure the balance between casting vivify and hot uptime. I feel like I'm missing something considering that boss wasn't even mentioned in the girm batol section. (Note: I don't have my 4 set yet)
@@sevzik3150 I find the hots like the talent spec with renewing that adds the 50% healing increase for 8 seconds off the initial cast. Before I know the damage spikes. TFT or chiji the enveloping mist then you’ll really notice how it smooths out the spikes of damage
Our 4-set is laughably useless this season and only makes maintaining hots vaguely easier. The last boss of GB is very tank-dependent, with their ability to mitigate the tank buster and take adds. DPS and healer need to worry about using self defensives, slows, and CC's on those adds while nuking them down. Aside from that, it's really easy to maintain melee uptime on the boss and cycle CDs for the bursts after the close in.
MW is not that good in consistent healing but you also don't ever need it. You just pop one cooldown per "phase" (where you stack in the ring) and you can carry the entire group up to +7 without them popping a single defensive. The only requirement is them spreading properly with the (circle) debuff. The only other damage coming in is basically between the phases which never takes full hp tho, more like ~90% and you have the group saved by simply having RM up and pressing 1 Vivify.
@Diphyidae ya I agree it should refresh all hots on group. Since our instant vilify has 10 second refresh. And our hots don't really heal much. Or buff our hots
I’m a fairly casual dad gamer, but mistweaver has been really fun this season so far. Even running 4’s gives you an opportunity to use all your abilities and flex those muscles that you didn’t need until 10+ in DF season 4
I use transcendence on every pull for arakara in pugs, so I don't occupy a pool for someone else to use. Easy to time the detonation. Thanks for the tips meg.
Grim batol is a good example. First two bosses are great. Last two bosses are just so Damn ridiculous I as a tank don’t want to run them, nevermind the other four people in the key…
Big fan of these videos! It helps to watch what moves a pro is using to handle different situations for these bosses. This tier feels pretty healing intensive but MW has felt great overall in the content.
Transcendence: Transfer to teleport away feels so good , the cooldown of it lines up perfectly with the pull, saves you from any weirdly lined up webs/goops/orbs/waves/chiji/no CC. Obviously if you are in comms pools are fine, just need to be careful of pugs taking your pool.
Arakara +6 felt super easy with the right group. On the other hand stonevault last week was horrible on +4. Second boss(the 2 bosses) are awful. The mechanics are really punishing if you don’t position correctly. I always make sure that I am positioned correctly on arakara and then dispel myself.
City of Echos and Dawnbreaker as a Brewmaster is a pain in the rear end. The magic damage slaughters me. I also realized I can only do this dungeon with an Evoker, Shammy or Druid healer because priests and pallys struggle to heal me
For the last boss of Ara,Kara, transcendence is up for every single pull in. You can set it away from the boss and at .5~ seconds, you pop it away and can safely remove the need for a puddle to allow for less error
on the last boss of ara kara i have been ignoring the puddles and just using transcendence at the last second, i think it makes it easier for dps to find more puddles especially at the beginning and its not really that hard to do
Great video (as ever). Super helpful. thank you! Quick question - what's the potion on Siege to turn it into day time. Would make it so much easier to see ground effects with that!

Diffuse has been pretty disappointing this season unfortunately :\ I still maintain the sheet (docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1018xZa9xQqau2rhLi_cd4v-onTn7KJcLWNmcTm2A3B4/edit?usp=sharing) but even the two that do reflect it seems hit or miss For Shadowmeld I'm working on some shorts!
Unfortunately this season mw is giga dogwater. Im not good enough to make it work. Gotta resort to the overloaded, busted and easy to play resto shaman.
the 2nd boss of siege of boralus was a nightmare with those invisible frontals and the bouncing shot insane damage, but at least they fixed the frontals now so it's much more consistent, it used to be my worst nightmare as a healer
They had an aug evoker but still ye... I was pumping 1,5 mil hps on my shaman in +7 (pre nerfs) and we wiped lol... our dps was 500k - 700k... now after nerfs life is easy anyway.
Watching you heal ara kara last boss so easy makes me hate my class (pala) every time i heal that boss on +10 i just spam like crazy and cant outheal the dmg unless i have wings
Thanks for the video meg!! I'm way less scared about some bosses after watching it! (my goal in wow is to be a godlike mw like you haha) Thanks again for all the guides and tips! 🥹❤
Step 1: have a pre organized stacked 5 man group of everyone doing over 1.4 million dps and a mythic raid team to get 620 gear like her. She's out of touch with the people who have no friends.
The only people I knew in any of this footage were guildies in the siege and grim batol footage, which was also mentioned in the beginning of the video
Oh no she has friends? Join a guild that does raids and m+. If you aren’t a idiot half of the heroic raid bosses are very doable right now in 600 ilvl.

Gonna be honest, this season is already a nightmare for me pugging. Damage spikes and one shots are insane, but that's just my perspective.
Yup and then expecting pugs to use buttons that aren't DPS, yeesh
Yeah it’s not fun. Got ksm and checked out. Maybe next season

The pugs have been garbage too. Have run quite a few dungeons with tanks that don’t even have a route.

how do you often incast vivify like in a row 2 or 3 times. Just new to this spec and kinda hard playing without Soothing Mist
Vivacious Vivification is a rolling timer so sometimes it’ll double up like that

What's the deathstrike weakaura you have next to the DK tank? I don't see it in your weakauras thanks!
I didn't include it since I didn't make it but I've lost the original, this one looks similar: wago.io/NkaTBpcPW
In general if a DK has RP they probably won’t need too much healing. They are still insane hps even after nerfs.
Thanks for the video!
Do you have any tips or tricks using Shadowmeld or diffuse this season?

That's not accurate at all lol
I want to make mw work but like you said. Just not good enough lol. Resto wackamole is good for us baddies! 😂
I would actually put MW in the top 3, what specifically are you having issues with?
