      Simple
It’s important to remember that Lucifer had challenged the fairness of God’s government. He had told lies about God. The idea of telling a lie had never entered the minds of the angels. Naturally they didn’t grasp all that lay behind Lucifer’s deceptions.
If God had destroyed Satan immediately, the angels would have begun to serve Him from fear rather than from love. This would have defeated the very purpose He had in creating beings with the power of choice in the first place.
How did anyone really know God’s way was best? No one had dared to try an alternative. God gave Satan a chance to demonstrate his alternative system. That’s why he was given an opportunity to make his pitch to Adam and Eve. This planet has become a testing ground where the character of Satan and the nature of his kingdom are contrasted with the character of God and the nature of His kingdom. Who is right? Who can we ultimately trust? These are the issues which “the great controversy between Christ and Satan” must resolve.
      Satan's deceptions
So deceptive was Lucifer, that before all the universe could be fully convinced, the nature of his alternative had to be fully exposed. It has taken time for everyone to really grasp how disastrous Satan’s alternative actually is. But eventually everyone will see that “the wages of sin is death” and that “the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Romans 6:23).
Every being in the entire universe will then agree with the declaration:
“‘Great and marvelous are your deeds, Lord God Almighty. Just and true are your ways, King of the ages. Who will not fear you, O Lord, and bring glory to your name? For you alone are holy. All nations will come and worship before you, for your righteous acts have been revealed.’” -Revelation 15:3, 4.
      Conclusion: God's perfect plan
After everyone understands the deadly nature of sin and the destructive nature of Satan’s philosophy, God can destroy Satan and sin. He will also have to destroy those who stubbornly resist His grace and cling to Satan’s alternative.
God is just as anxious to resolve the problem of sin and suffering as we are to have Him do so. But He is waiting until He can do it on a permanent basis, and until He can both preserve our free will and prevent evil from ever appearing again.

Keeping in mind this says "creature" (G2937) not "human" (G444) that includes the fallen angels (Demons), Our Father would not that anyone should parish. Even Satan and his followers are given the chance to repent. Although it's prophecied "Satan" would be thrown into the "Lake of Fire" Satan is not his given name but a title or office anyone can hold. As too burning in torture for eternity that's a sick twisted priest concept not God's. The terms used inferring the fire burning eternally not the torture goes on eternally.
If you ask the question of the video then you must ask; "Why does Jesus allow physical Death when He took the Keys of Death and Hell from the twin sister entities She'ol and Muth (godesses Death and Hell/Grave)? They are mentioned by name to be thrown into the Lake of Fire. They are also the fourth/fifth "Horsemen" of the Apocalypse (Two riders on one horse).

That's a profound question and one I'm not sure I have a precise answer to, but I will say that the word of God is something we can trust, and in it he says there will be no sorrow or pain in heaven, only eternal praise and worship of God. I take this to mean that there is something about humans that is different from angels in that once we have passed through this life and be reborn into heaven, that we will no longer be capable of or desiring of making any decisions that do not perfectly align with God's will. The angels in Heaven apparently did have a choice to rebel at one point... something they were given that humans will not be given.

A less theoretical explanation would be how people have suffered from scarcity and want throughout history, even down to today. In response, many people have invented fantastic machines, medicines, agricultural processes, etc to help provide abundance and reduce suffering. This process continues today. This seems like one of the most commonly asked questions in life, right? And it’s straightforward and simple. But more often than not, we don’t get a straightforward answer to this seemingly simple question, and not getting all the answers can definitely test our faith. When bad things happen, we might sometimes wonder where God is. If He’s really there. If He could have prevented it. If He could have sent a miracle.
We know He is all-powerful. We know He is in control. We know He wants what’s best for us. But there continue to be horrific tragedies and pain and suffering throughout the world. And we continue to face temptation, sorrow, and a multitude of trials within our own lives.
Sometimes we just want to know why. What’s the purpose of all this suffering? Why does He allow bad things to happen?
Unfortunately, we might not always know the reason “why.” But we can always draw faith and strength from remembering the things we do know.
      We Have Agency
One vital part of the plan of salvation is that every single being who has ever lived on the face of this earth was given agency-we are able to choose for ourselves, and consequences, both good and bad, stem from those choices. Heavenly Father knows that choice and accountability for those choices are both necessary for our spiritual growth. Because He knows this and loves us, He doesn’t usually interfere with the consequences of our choices. If He forced us to make the right decisions, it would be impossible for us to grow and reach our divine potential. It would be impossible to live by faith in Him and His plan for our happiness.
Because of the beautiful gift of agency, people make their own choices, both good and bad. Many good things have happened in the world because of agency, but many terrible things have come about as well. In those bad moments when the wrong choices of others cause you pain, remember what President Dallin H. Oaks, First Counselor in the First Presidency, taught:
“God rarely infringes on the agency of any of His children by intervening against some for the relief of others. But He does ease the burdens of our afflictions and strengthen us to bear them. … He does not prevent all disasters, but He does answer our prayers to turn them aside. …
“Through all mortal opposition, we have God’s assurance that He will ‘consecrate [our] afflictions for [our] gain’ (2 Nephi 2:2)” (“Opposition in All Things,” Ensign or Liahona, May 2016, 117).
      Trials Are Empowering
Have you ever gone through something difficult and that experience allowed you to empathize with friends or even strangers who were facing a similar challenge? Or have you seen others experience sorrow from difficult circumstances and turn their pain into a moving, empowering cause? The trials we face allow us to develop compassion for others and can inspire us to make a difference in the world, in big and small ways. They enable us to truly be “willing to bear one another’s burdens, that they may be light” (Mosiah 18:8).
Think of times when natural disasters or horrific accidents occurred in the world. Remember how many people you saw on social media, on the news, or even in your own community who stepped up to raise money, donate necessities, and provide any bit of service they could to those in need? Sometimes when bad things happen, they empower us to act and serve. Even the Savior, our example, suffered infirmities, “that his bowels may be filled with mercy” and so that He could know “how to succor his people” (Alma 7:12). Trials can open our eyes to those who are suffering. They can enable us to show others genuine compassion and love. They can refine us to be more charitable, empathetic, and influential humans. They can instill in us a powerful need to serve.
      The Savior’s Arms Are Open
When bad things happen, when you’re facing heavy challenges, when you don’t understand all the reasons behind your struggles, here is one thing to always remember: No matter what trial you’re facing, when you’re feeling lost, alone, defeated, or broken, the Savior’s arms are open to receive you. Maybe one reason for the tragedies and difficulties in our lives is so we can use our agency and faith to rely on and see the infinite power of Jesus Christ in our lives. Doing so allows us to better understand Him. To build our relationship with Him. To become more like Him. To fully comprehend that He truly did sacrifice everything He had for all of us.
Yes, life can be hard. Really hard. But when life knocks you down and you still manage to use your last drop of energy to turn to the Savior, you will see that He is always there, and He will always come to your rescue. Because He knows exactly what you’re going through. He’s felt it all before. Jesus Christ’s Atonement included suffering of all forms-mental, physical, and spiritual. Everything. He understands. He will not abandon you.
Remember: Heavenly Father Is in Control
So, when you are struggling to find the answer to the question, “Why did God allow this to happen?” try asking Him to help you understand through sincere prayer. Even though He might not be able to give you the full answer yet, He can help you find comfort and gradual understanding.
Take a moment to think about what you’ve learned because of bad things that have happened. There’s no doubt you will recognize those moments when you were able to sincerely understand someone else’s sorrow because of something you once faced, those moments of tragedy that motivated you to serve others, those moments when the Savior carried you, and those moments when you fully realized that Heavenly Father is aware of you and will always be there to guide you. Your answers are there.
Heavenly Father is in control. He has a plan for each of us, and “in that day when the Lord shall come, he shall reveal all things” (Doctrine and Covenants 101:32). Despite what difficulties and challenges may come, despite some lingering questions we may have in this life, we can move forward with faith and peace, knowing that one day we will understand everything. One day, we will be able to look back at everything we had to overcome in gratitude because it helped us become exactly who we were destined to be.

God is love. And love is its purest essence is a choice, and a delight. A choice that must be made. It is not something anyone must feel compelled to do.
Love (towards God or anyone) cannot genuinely exist if there is no choice. That includes the choice to walk out on somebody, even in the case of God.
Conversely, evil and rebellion, by definition, is also a choice, an act of the will. And because God is also holy, evil cannot escape its consequences and eventual punishment.

The Christian god is not loving. He is the most abusive boyfriend character known to man.
How can a god who is said to be loving, actually be loving when if you dont reciprocate that love he punishes you by having you burn eternally?
Imagine if I had a girlfriend, and she said that she loved me, but if I didn’t love her back she was going to break into my house and dislocate my shoulder, waterboard me, and then break my feet...that's abusive right? So how is it any different then god burning you eternally, for ever. Billions upon trillions of years, no escape. How is that love?
Seriously. Who extorts love for themselves under threat of eternal suffering?
And of course he never takes responsibility for his shitty actions and pulls the "Look what you made me do!" line as an excuse for wiping out 99.9% of all land life on Earth.
Christians just assumes God is loving but what if He is a mean, sadistic SOB? Look at this World. Even animals in order to survive must kill and cause another animal to suffer by being eaten. What kind of psychopath creates such a World? A pure loving God? I don't think so. It is very disturbing what or who created this place. It is full of misery.
Can you imagine if we lived in a society in which we truly acted like the Christian version of a god? How many parents here would drag their kid into to the backyard and throw them on the grill if they said "I hate you"???

  • @Antitheist
    @Antitheist 11 місяців тому +2

There’s are a couple problems with this. First, if God is all powerful, then EVERYTHING he does is optional by definition. All these claims of trials and lessons don’t HAVE to occur with an all powerful being, since he could simply give us the information automatically without the need to be able to cause such horrific evil in the world. That must mean that God WANTS people to suffer and evil to occur.
Second, NOWHERE in the Bible does it say free will exists. Sure, it often mentions the importance of making the right choices…but that doesn’t mean anything if God is actually the one making our decisions for us, does it? So what does the Bible say about who REALLY decides what actions we take? Well…
Proverbs 16:4 says, “The Lord works out EVERYTHING to its proper end-even the wicked for the day of disaster.” It doesn’t say that God determines SOME things, it says he determines “EVERYTHING,” including what the wicked do.
Ephesians 1:11 says, “In him we were also chosen, having been PREDESTINED according to the plan of him who works out EVERYTHING in conformity with the purpose of his will.” So again, God plans and predestines everything.
The Bible also says that God doesn’t even allow random chance to affect his plan: Proverbs 16:33: “The dice are thrown, but the Lord determines EVERY outcome.” It’s not actually random if God decides what the result will be, is it?
To make matters worse, the Bible emphasizes that not only does God control us even if we might otherwise be inclined to do something different, but he even controls every step we take!
Proverbs 16:9 “In their hearts HUMANS PLAN their course, but the LORD ESTABLISHES their steps.”
Jeremiah 10:23 “Lord, I know that people’s lives are not their own; it is NOT for them to DIRECT THEIR STEPS.”
Proverbs 20:24 “A person’s steps are DIRECTED by the LORD. How then can anyone understand their own way?”
These are just a handful of examples, but there are literally DOZENS MORE passages reinforcing the claim that God determines EVERYTHING we do, including our very steps.
So either the Bible is lying about God planning everything, and thus it cannot be trusted to tell you the truth…or God determines every decision we make, HE is 100% responsible for EVERY evil action, and free will is only an illusion. Either conclusion undermines the very foundation of Christianity. Heads you lose, tails you lose.

Therefore free will is simply an illusion as god already knows what choices will be made and how everything will play out. So why would a divine father place his children in a place where an evil/opposing force can harm or influence them? Why do babies get molested? Why is there suffering? What parent would sit and watch their children suffer? Would any of you sit and allow your baby to lay in a dirty diaper and be hungry? STORY TIME: Chronicles of the Havens: by Aroyal.
The true reason why God allowed evil to exist was because, God wanted to know what Evil is and how it look like. Pretty much what the opposite of him looks like.
See, in the beginning ALL was GOOD and LOVE. Nobody knew what the opposite of Goodness and LOVE was. So the question came about by the sons of God (Angels) how do God know if Good and Love is the ONLY way of doing things?
So God crafted up a plan to create challenges for himself using his children and his creations. The various challenges was to help him enhance his wisdom as a father and to know the true meaning of what a father’s unconditional/agape Love is. Which is a skill he desired to have and pass down to All of his children.
Although it may now seem like his plan did not work out too well, that is not the case.
Before he carried out his plans, he told all of his children and creations what he was going to do and he told them to trust that he is in control because he will be controlling the narrative but they will be giving the FREE WILL to make their own decisions/choices. That no matter how wicked or evil they would become he will never stop loving them because he knew their true character in the beginning and he know who they are no matter how the world or others sees or depicts them. He just wanted to see the opposite of their good character if it was tested under certain conditions,
And that in the end everything will work out and everyone will be happy reassuring he would preserve their good character. He didn’t tell them how he was going to do it.
However, he told them that everything that they were going to experience will be a test and once everyone (him, his wife and his children) reached their fullness on opposite sides good & evil he will restore all things like new.
That how I remembered it in my data base.
Trust me when I say this no one will be left behind. And even if Evil have to exist for all eternity it will be used as a test for more knowledge and understanding so we can alway appreciate GOOD and LOVE.

@@Mr.Rabot6688 There are many aspects, positions, titles and characteristics to God. Yes, he is All Everything and he wears many hats.
However, he didn’t just become that magically or Automatically.
If you got something such as a skill, talent, or a hight position automatically and didn’t do the necessary work to acquire it, when you loose that skill, talent, or position, you will not know how to get it back until you do the work.
Another example, let say you were born a great musician. You and everyone know that is your destiny, because everyone can see your gifts. However, in order to become a Great Musician where everyone can know your name, you had to put in the work. You had to work on your craft, practice day and night to be a master of your music.
In the same manner, God had to put in the work for his name to be know throughout the whole Universe. Yes, He is the one and only God but his name did not become know magically. No, he had to make his name be known through the challenges he faced from his own children and other false gods who challenged his sovereignty.
One thing I respect about God our father is the fact that he want us to go through the process of becoming the persons we are all destined to be. He is not going to make us go through something that he himself have not gone through or experienced. That is how he is able to help us through our problems. That is the fatherly aspect of him.
I think the world and Christianity have us thinking that God is this distance figured who is unapproachable, with no character and not relatable.
That is far from the truth. He is our eternal father, his love surpasses even the love that our Earthly father has for us.

I am reminded of the riddle of why Eru created Melkor in Tolkien's universe, at one point saying that everything he tried to do would ultimately serve a higher purpose that was Eru's and Eru's alone.
The angelic Ainur are manifestations of Eru's thoughts. But God has plenty of thoughts that are only appropriate for God: I am supreme, no one is my equal, others should worship me, I will create things that show how great I am (to who?), etc. So now there will be a delusional Ainur who thinks that they are God, guaranteed to not put up with being treated as a servant to a higher purpose.
So anyone who acts like God is an asshole, but God is not a prideful, callous asshole making people exist and suffer just to hear how great He is because ... er ... well, that's the awkward part. If it's because He says so, that's what every megalomaniacal tyrant would say. If it's because you feel that He is - well, He created you to say how good He is, like a bad author who uses a character as a sock-puppet for their political opinions. Then you have a very selective view of 'the real' my friend. Satan is a household name. Millions speak with him daily. He is represented in every culture and every people. The list goes on and on. If you wanna say he isn't 'Real' because you can't sit and have tea and crumpets with him, then I suggest you get up in Sam Smiths DMz. He will change that view quicker than his gender at a MAGA rally.

By virtue of God being omniscient & omnipotent, means that we really don't have "free will". Nothing can happen w/o God's knowledge (as he's "all-knowing") nor w/o his blessing (aka "god's will" which his creations can't supersede). He already knew who we'd do, even before we were created. Saying we have free will puts God power into question. Either he has to allow suffering to happen because he doesn't have the knowledge and power to prevent it, or he can prevent suffering but wants ppl to worship him, in order to be spared. It's kind of like the conundrum of "golden age" Superman. He was so powerful, that it never made any sense as to how anything could threaten him. But DC comics remedied this by not only tonning down Supes's powers, but also giving him "weaknesses" (e.g. kryptonite, red sun radiation, & a vulnerability to magic).

One thing people don't understand about Satan is that we would still sin even if he didn't exist. That's the whole point of agency.
