Naw he's the warden and plus it's his God given kingdom. Anytime a person is called an angel in scriptures it means that they work for God's divine justice. Plus he is a king "set" over them... I have just come from this video "The Descendants of the Nephilim, Biblical Giants, David and Goliath - Christian Lore" by "Eredin", an equivalent channel host who takes biblical passages for presentation to us. I found it an utter disaster of little to no context, where so many pertinent details are left unexplained and questions which were key to understanding context left unanswered. It rambled on and on mentioning this fellow's name, followed by that fellow's name, and giving little-to-no context between them. A total and utter disaster. I gave up after watching and repeating for half an hour. Then I came to YOUR video, and it is like night and day in comparison. It's well paced - very well paced; it's succinct, plenty context, apt references to scripture just at the right time, and the whole thing is very comprehensible and makes biblical passages both very interesting and relevant for interpretation to what we are experiencing today. In short, you have made a convert of me, that I can now look at the Old Testament with a renewed academic and spiritual interest. I commend you on your brilliant insightful style. It isnt a limitation. His goodness is just a façade and he wants to play games with souls at the expense of many humans and spirits. these stories are interesting, but I have a feeling they are so wrong, ....lost in misunderstanding and misinterpretations as well as lack of language definition in all human languages. Sheol was a neverending pit of fire where people would throw their refuse into and it was also used for death penalty for any criminals. It was the RC church that made up hell. No, not in Christianity. Abaddon is a fallen angel who is a leader of demons in the Revelation of John. According to the bible, Satan is the god of this world and he walks free... There is no angel who "imprisoned" him. The one who will defeat Satan one day is the archangel Michael, and then Jesus will banish Satan eternally to the "lake of fire", which is hell.
That's not really canon in christianity or judaism. More like an esoteric interpretation. In canon mythology Abaddon is a fallen angel and stands directly under Lucifers/Satans command. As you said, in the Revelation of John in the New Testament of the Bible, Abaddon is described as an angel of the abyss who leads a horde of demons.

Abbadon chose to wield the power of the 2nd unlike directly commiting to a sin, he saw it all, thus why he wields such power in contrast to common angels. Who knows for certain but he's basically the angel of death so he has power over pretty much every mortal. And the demons were cast here supposedly. Does that make sense? The good and bad angels mentioned in the Bible are said to be extremely powerful but I suppose Abaddon is special. The place is named the same as it's ruler. Not a personification. Even the word love has different meanings and understandings between old and new testaments. Even the term do good is simply one of two or three types of love in the new testament but meant the same thing. The only thing about Hell that I don't get is the ENTIRE idea of eternal suffering. It seems to be in stark contrast to the entire idea that God loves everyone REGARDLESS of their sins. So if that is the case then WHY would God even allow someone to be punished to that degree for all of eternity? If I loved someone unconditionally, then I would NEVER want or even allow them to suffer forever. And WHY would any kind of PHYSICAL punishment be needed after death? I've thought about that for some time now and I've come to two conclusions. The first is that Hell as an actual place where a person is subjected to physical torment might not exist. And second, from how the bible compares hell to being "out of the light of God" as being the worst punishment, wouldn't being outside of Gods light and love be in itself Hell? I tend to think that the WORST hell would to be cast out by God, outside of his light where you would cease to exist and not be resurrected by him. I think that all of the descriptions of hell in the bible are more than likely just ways that humans have attempted to describe the worst things they can think of, not what God would have it actually be. I think that places like the actual heaven and actual hell are places meant only for celestial beings and NOT for humankind. That OUR heaven will be the resurrection to heaven on earth where no one dies or suffers and our hell would be to simply cease to exist entirely, void of god's light, forgotten and never knowing the resurrection. As even before we die, throughout our entire lives and immediately after death we humans would have been in the light of god, so suddenly being cast out from it would be the worst punishment one could receive. A "Final" punishment both in it's finality and in its permanence, while at the same time not allowing someone to suffer for all eternity, something which I would HOPE God wouldn't want ANYONE to endure. Because I mean even Satan himself isn't going to suffer for eternity and will eventually simply be destroyed and cease to be. So why would God allow his creations to endure a punishment that even the Devil himself gets to escape?
The answer to your question is quite simple. Free will. That’s it. You’re given free will to make your decision. Follow and praise God, repent of your sins and believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and resurrected conquering death. Or don’t and reject God.
I've had similar thoughts as it seems to me that beings that are not immortal are by design not intended to live forever . I think that's the whole point of creation so that God isn't stuck with a lot of immortal beings even after they have turned against him. Keeping those who will be useful to him and casting out those who won't will tip the numbers back in Gods favour. Even as Catholics some priests talk about us becoming like or even above angels and I sometimes wonder if all this is about God reincarnating himself. What if there's millions of universes and I think there might be I don't think God would go to all this trouble just to do it once unless the main reason for the universe and earth was simply to contain the angels who have fallen. .

It's his form of repentance. Yes he's a fallen angel but god forgives. As god praises and encourages free thought or debate. However god does have his boundries. And hey you stepped over it big time. That's why the law of repentance and redemption is a divine decree. As that is part of learning and ascension so it's inevitable. Angels are our older in a sense brothers. Like god is at the top and the divine Law of 3 yadda yadda yadda angels are their own species hoping to obtain their own worlds. I gave up after watching and repeating for half an hour.
Then I came to YOUR video, and it is like night and day in comparison. It's well paced - very well paced; it's succinct, plenty context, apt references to scripture just at the right time, and the whole thing is very comprehensible and makes biblical passages both very interesting and relevant for interpretation to what we are experiencing today.
In short, you have made a convert of me, that I can now look at the Old Testament with a renewed academic and spiritual interest. I commend you on your brilliant insightful style. You are a natural storyteller and teacher.

That's not really canon in christianity or judaism. More like an esoteric interpretation. In canon mythology Abaddon is a fallen angel and stands directly under Lucifers/Satans command.

Even the term do good is simply one of two or three types of love in the new testament but meant the same thing. The only thing about Hell that I don't get is the ENTIRE idea of eternal suffering. It seems to be in stark contrast to the entire idea that God loves everyone REGARDLESS of their sins. So if that is the case then WHY would God even allow someone to be punished to that degree for all of eternity? If I loved someone unconditionally, then I would NEVER want or even allow them to suffer forever. And WHY would any kind of PHYSICAL punishment be needed after death? I've thought about that for some time now and I've come to two conclusions. The first is that Hell as an actual place where a person is subjected to physical torment might not exist. And second, from how the bible compares hell to being "out of the light of God" as being the worst punishment, wouldn't being outside of Gods light and love be in itself Hell? I tend to think that the WORST hell would to be cast out by God, outside of his light where you would cease to exist and not be resurrected by him. I think that all of the descriptions of hell in the bible are more than likely just ways that humans have attempted to describe the worst things they can think of, not what God would have it actually be. I think that places like the actual heaven and actual hell are places meant only for celestial beings and NOT for humankind. That OUR heaven will be the resurrection to heaven on earth where no one dies or suffers and our hell would be to simply cease to exist entirely, void of god's light, forgotten and never knowing the resurrection. As even before we die, throughout our entire lives and immediately after death we humans would have been in the light of god, so suddenly being cast out from it would be the worst punishment one could receive. A "Final" punishment both in it's finality and in its permanence, while at the same time not allowing someone to suffer for all eternity, something which I would HOPE God wouldn't want ANYONE to endure. Because I mean even Satan himself isn't going to suffer for eternity and will eventually simply be destroyed and cease to be. So why would God allow his creations to endure a punishment that even the Devil himself gets to escape?
The answer to your question is quite simple. Free will. That’s it. You’re given free will to make your decision. Follow and praise God, repent of your sins and believe Jesus Christ died for our sins and resurrected conquering death. Or don’t and reject God.
I've had similar thoughts as it seems to me that beings that are not immortal are by design not intended to live forever . I think that's the whole point of creation so that God isn't stuck with a lot of immortal beings even after they have turned against him. Keeping those who will be useful to him and casting out those who won't will tip the numbers back in Gods favour. Even as Catholics some priests talk about us becoming like or even above angels and I sometimes wonder if all this is about God reincarnating himself. What if there's millions of universes and I think there might be I don't think God would go to all this trouble just to do it once unless the main reason for the universe and earth was simply to contain the angels who have fallen.
