    Great point about the use of color but we also need to ensure accessibility. 8% of the global population is color blind. It is important that color is not the only way to communicate and that content stands out and is easy to read even in greyscale. So keep the color but test your slides in color blind mode to ensure there is a lot of contrast and combine the use of symbols or patterns in the presentation of data.

    The only thing I dislike about consulting presentations are that it seems to be modern to put complete sentences, results or statements in the headline of a slide. I just cannot do this as it annoys me every single time. There should be a brief 1-3 word description whats on the slide instead of 1 or even two full sentences.
    But maybe thats just me...

    • @JeffSu
      @JeffSu  11 місяців тому

      So unfortunately 😅 I would have to say I like how the consultants do it. Headers should technically be standalone sentences that tell the reader what the point of the slide is 😁

    Hi Jeff, big fan of your work! First of all, sorry if I make any english mistakes.
    Can you explain the ocasion to use the SCQA or the pyramid principle? Because, if I undestand correctly, one says to start with the conclusion and the other to start with the situation. How do I put them together?

    • @JeffSu

    Hi Jeff, I do have a question regarding using the SQCA and Pyramid Principle in my workflow.
    I have a weekly report wherein I have to report on the operational health of the team. I have to list their metrics week-on-week. How do I incorporate the SQCA framework with this? And how do I then use the pyramid principle?
    Would an SQCA like this work?
    Situation: Team is doing well
    Question: How well is the team doing
    Complication: Here are the low performers/problems that occured this week
    Answer: What I'm gonna do to solve this

    • @JeffSu
      @JeffSu  11 місяців тому

      Pro tip: Not everything needs to incorporate the SCQA principle. If the goal of your report is to give an update on the stats week-on-week, just be as concise as possible 😁
