Very helpful video! Quick question - when designing my slide, the 'Click to add text' stays in the background - I know it doesn't appear when I'm presenting the slide, but I notice your slides don't have it showing - have I missed a step, or should I just ignore it?
Most of this was new to me & not boring. The worlds best hack for improving productivity is to get better/faster at typing Boring? Maybe Doesn't change the fact that its true!

I just have a question ; 'm working on mac as well, and the "alt" and "F4" tricks are not working for me. Do you have an idea of what it could be?

No ribbon shortcuts on Mac unfortunately. You can download the shortcuts cheat sheet from our website and it comes with a Mac version, but many of the ribbon shortcuts aren't available.

Please stop second guessing your audience and apologizing. In the same way we don’t practice that in public speaking, it’s also not a good practice in a video. Me, I’m learning lots of new things. Those who don’t want to learn just allow them to wander off.

Head into your slide master and delete the placeholders - should do the trick!

Paul, what about consultants who use Powerpoint as part of Microsoft 365 on MacBook? None of your hacks work for them.
Good stuff but why not use ctrl+A to select all? You don't have to worry about header text in this example
