ABOUT TODAYS VIDEO: Household Foods That Get Rid Of Dog Worms
There are generally four types of worms dogs can become infected with and these are:
• Roundworms
• Hookworms
• Tapeworms
• Whipworms
Roundworms live in the small intestine, look like spaghetti, can grow several inches or more in length and their microscopic eggs are easily picked up from infected animals.
Look out for a pot belly, lethargy, diarrhea, vomiting, abdominal pain, a dull lifeless coat and possible weight loss with larger infestations.
Tapeworms can be very long flat worms attaching themselves to the intestines and you may notice broken off tapeworm segments in your dogs stool looking like small grains of rice.
Tapeworms can mean your dog wares a dull coat with possible appetite and weight loss.
Whipworms colonize the mucus membrane lining in the colon and feed on blood. Adults can be several inches long and flat at one end and the eggs are picked up from other dogs stools.
Whipworms can mean your dog has diarrhea, vomiting and/or weight loss.
Hookworms live mainly in the small intestine, grayish in color and grow to around 3/4 of an inch.
They contain a small hook that attaches to the dogs intestinal lining and feeds on blood.
Hookworms can mean diarrhea and vomiting and can be passed on via mother's milk which can also mean a puppy suffers chronic diarrhea and possible anemia, weakness, lethargy and pale mucus membranes.
Adding certain foods to the diet really helps to keep worms under control. With this in mind, here's 7 foods that repel worms. Begin slowly with all the foods if your dog’s not used to eating vegetables or fruit, and work up to the recommended dose.
Number 1 is kefir. Kefir is an excellent food source for dogs, containing a huge probiotic profile, vitamins and minerals. You can make your own kefir at home or buy at the health food store or supermarket.
Give small dogs 1-2 tsp a day, medium dogs 1Table spoon per day and large dogs 2 table spoons per day. You can add kefir to your dogs meal or give as a snack.
Number 2 is vegetables. You can buy or make fermented vegetables such as sauerkraut or kimchi. Start slow and work up to 2 teaspoons per 15lbs of your dogs body weight per day.
Number 3 is Pumpkin seeds. They are safe and effective at controlling worms, simply grind the seeds and give a 1/4 teaspoon per 10lbs of your dogs body weight daily.
Number 4 is Papaya which contains papain, an enzyme that helps repel worms. Give your dog one tablespoon per 10lbs of body weight per day.
Number 5 is garlic, safe to give dogs and highly beneficial in repelling worms. Simply fine dice 1 clove of garlic, allow to sit for 15 minutes to increase its healing properties and give a 1/2 tsp per 15lbs of your dogs body weight.
Number 6 is Coconut oil, great for roundworms. Give your dog 1tsp per 10lb of your dogs body weight per day.
And number 7 is apple cider vinegar. Make sure to get raw organic and unfiltered apple cider vinegar and give a small dog 1 tsp added to drinking water, a medium dog 2 tsp's and a large dog 1 table spoon added to drinking water daily to repel worms.

Turmeric, Carrots, garlic also help with deworming. Herbs like black seed, cinnamon, oregano, basil are also beneficial in other general health issues.
And the king of the quick fix is Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
if you want to just use drops in the food to kill off all worms in the body. But yes, good options you have added for prevention and soft cure.
Thank you for the invaluable advice and for free! 🤗 I have always given my dog's apple cider vinegar and garlic 🧄 in their water and food and randomly given them coconut oil. Knowing what I know is good for them, but the others are a bonus ! Thanks so much! Oh, did I mention that I do not vacs them either? Take a guess how old , or young they are? 🤔 Well one is 20 and the other 19!
thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your welcome, thanks for watching.
So helpful. I am going to be changing so much for my dog. She has tons of allergies both food and environmental. I suspect she has worms. All of what you have said is indentical to her symptoms.
She has a very sensitive digestion. Should a raw food diet be introduced slowly?
Thanks. 👍
You’re awesome, thank you!

Your welcome Dafne.
This is very appreciated. I was a little worried since we do not use chemical prevention. However, we literally consume all things mentioned. I knew fermented foods were terrific, but not to the extent you mentioned. Thank you again! Liked and shared.
Your welcome Jannell. Yes it makes you think just how medicinal many of our foods are. Food is Medicine.
Thank you so much for your advice! I have been watching so many of your videos, and so thankful for the advice! I am very careful before giving my dog just any medications/food. Natural remedies are always best! These foods are a great, but Black walnut& Wormwood mixture is definitely the healthiest and most effective way to deworm, as you said in another video. Thanks again!!!
Your welcome Hannah.
Dan, what about oil of oregano small gel capsules maybe once a week? U saved the day with the antidiarrheal antidote ( kefir, probiotics and I mix small amount of honey and bone broth powder) miss pickey loves it! Thanks again!
Can I have the brand of those caps so I can check it for you?
And glad I saved the day with miss pickey : ).
Thank you, Dan. I have been wondering whether worms can be transmitted to puppies via mother's milk, and yes they can. Thankfully my dogs have all tested negative to worms: I will include some of the foods mentioned in their diet; they do already have garlic and coconut oil. Love your channel and your knowledge.
Your welcome and thanks.
Dan I'm so glad I happened to come across your channel I have been using a well know vet recommended brand for worms/fleas etc. I have been noticing over a period of time some disturbing things happening but did not click until I today started reading through the severe symptoms that can occur and found that the worst was anorexia I had said to my son and sister that even though I had been feeding her 5/6 cups of kibble daily she was looking shabby itching and chewing herself vomiting and at times the scoots but have just read that these are 4 of the symptoms that are caused by this drug so I'm going to stop giving her it I though she was having allergy to dry kibble but I think it's this tablet
Yes, there's a 100% natural solution in this video for worms: ua-cam.com/video/2LkzSgeOpGw/v-deo.html
Now about your dogs health overall, from what I'm reading your dog needs help.
Here's a great diet idea you can follow to get your dog into better health over the next month or two. Please follow the advice.
If you feed kibble, the best thing to do first is remove 50% of the kibble from the bowl and replace with raw eggs (best) soft boiled (ok) and preferably organic, canned sardines (in plain water with skin & bone intact: 12 Pack Sardines - amzn.to/3vaXrj6), some part cooked and blended veggies like broccoli, kale, green beans, spinach, brussel sprouts, bok choy etc and some meat proteins such as chicken meat, even better.
If not liking to prepare vegetables then these freeze dried greens are antioxidant packed to help protect cells from free radical damage, cellular repair, support immunity, joints, skin issues, heart and eye health: Core Immune CARE Greens: shrsl.com/3uv18
It's vital to give your dog a good Omega-3 oil option too, and I recommend the best in (Ahi flower oil with Green Lipped Mussel Oil): amzn.to/3Yx9Z10 This one's for dogs with the added benefit of being excellent for joint health too.
Now your dogs getting live enzymes, probiotics, Omega 3 oils, the highest quality proteins and nutritional assimilation from eggs (100%), and antioxidants, minerals and vitamins from vegetables.
Always add a quality probiotic to improve digestion and gut health: (skin issues/yeast/itchy/allergy dogs) use this one: amzn.to/3yoURqU and for all other dogs use this one: shrsl.com/3uv7l
If you want an excellent, VERY low carbohydrate kibble at just 5%, (high carbohydrates cause chronic inflammation, with itchy skin, yeast, poor gut health, ear infection, UTI's and hot spots, and nearly all kibbles are 40+% carbs!).
Ketona has high protein at 47% (dogs thrive on proteins), correct fats at 15% and natural additives, so have a look at Ketona Kibble: healthydogforlife.com/KetonaKibble. I recommend still adding the fresh foods even with the best kibble.
By introducing fresh foods, really lowering carbs use, introducing greens, omega 3's, proteins and a better more suitable kibble, your dog will respond with healing and improved health over the next 12 weeks.
Some must do's:
Zero vaxx once adult (auto immune disease issues rife from over vaccination)
If Rabies is mandatory, use Protect after shots: (Humic & Fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i
Very low carbs in diet, 10% or less (cause of inflammation, poor gut health and later, cancer)
No vet drugs, there's effective natural alternatives (always!)
Feed a healthier diet with at least 50% fresh food in it.
NO white foods ie white rice, potato, pasta..
For the papaya is it the actual fresh fruit or powder supplement? Love all the information you provide.
Either is fine, both have the Papain in them (the ingredient that expells worms).
If you want something tuff and gets the job done 100%, use
Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
Depending on your dogs size, you add drops to food bowl once daily for 14 days, stop 7 days, then a further 14 days and finished, all worms dead and expelled.
Here's a video on it: ua-cam.com/video/2LkzSgeOpGw/v-deo.html
@@DanScott1 I so appreciate your response and actually started using that protocol yesterday after watching several of your videos. I have a retired Greyhound racer who apparently has drug resistant hookworms. I’m all for natural remedies anyway! Quick question, should I split up the 12 drops between am/pm or all in one meal?
@@JettiesPlace Hi Rebekah, all in one meal.
Hi Dan, I had a rough time with my dog with bloody stools I took your advice and it work a treat, I still have some problems with yeasty skin and a problem with ear irritation I have found by using a turkey baster I flush out the ear, and it works to stop the rritation fast, ,
Well done, it can be rough at first but keep going, one issue fixed at a time. Diet is the underlying component thatb will bring everything together and thats based on more fresh food in the diet so the immune system has the opportunity to help fix internal issues.
Yeasty skin and ear issues are linked and it's from too many carbohydrates in the diet and complicated by drugs/vaxx/stress.
Thank you so much for the information. Our dog has epilepsy and we are avoiding all chemicals. Do you know how we could deter ticks? They are really bad this year and we are removing 6 or 7 daily! Thanks again.
For ticks I recommend neem oil, here's a video that includes it: ua-cam.com/video/o-U4pKTekkE/v-deo.html
It's the best natural anti tick solution I know of.
For the epilepsy I recommend a strong CBD oil given twice daily am and pm. Here's a video I made about dog seizures: ua-cam.com/video/8Hrf2MFhB70/v-deo.html
Hope that helps.
@@DanScott1 Thank you so much for taking the time to reply xx
We have recently started with CBD (5% but only 1 drop per day at the moment) and have changed his diet to raw including half a teaspoon of coconut oil, for the MCT. From having a seizure every 6-8 days, despite taking phenobarbital and potassium bromide, he's currently 25 days seizure free. Still watching him like a hawk but here's hoping we're heading in the right direction.
@@carolcarol9263 Excellent, thanks for letting me know. The key here is the raw diet and CBD (well done).
Please stay away from drugs and vaccines as they put pressure on the iimune system. I do recommend upping the CBD as it gives more help to the immune system and dosing am and pm. I've lots of history with CBD to know this.
All the best.
Hi Dan do I give the pumpkin seeds with or without the shell thanks
Without shell and finely crushed.
I just gave my dogs the quad dewormer by elanco, after a long term suspected infection that came from a positive test for whip from the vet. I don’t want to do conventional meds but I felt it might be necessary as they’re also fed mostly kibble. I’m looking for natural prevention now so thanks for the info.
Your welcome. The best dewormer is Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE Best not to use those vet poisons in future for any worm issues. I made a video about this.
He weighs 63 pounds. I already started giving him coconut oil and raw unfiltered apple cider vinegar. Thank you doctor. His primary vet has become so hard to deal with.
Roundworms are common. If you've seen an adult, then theres eggs and larvae too.
Use this remedy: Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
Depending on your dogs weight? give x drops in food fonce daily or 14 days, stop 7 days, then another 14 days and finished, no more worms, eggs and larvae (100% effective).
Whats the dogs weight?
Sorry, somehow my reply became an edited comment. But my comment was converning very healthy lab mix. Walks 16 hours a week. Can pull me (150lbs) on a skatevoard up hill!
@@blacksheepdog9810 Start at 6 drops first 7 days, then 10 drops next 7 days, then stop 7 days, then a further 14 days straight 10 drops in food once daily. So your giving drops for 28 days in total with a 7 day break in between.
Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
Other things can help but this method is guaranteed.
Very helpful and informative videos you have. I have a 75 pound pit/ lab mix that is 10 years old. How much black walnut/ clove/ wormwood extract do I give her? Also, I've been giving her turmeric for about 2 years now. Can I mix the black walnut extract with the turmeric?
It's 13 drops in food once daily for 14 days, stop 7 days, then a further 14 days and finished. First few days half dose!
Maybe seprate the meals that have turmeric and the walnut mix. I'd also give the dog a break from turmeric every two months for two weeks, so stop for two weeks now, in fact, stop for the worm cleans period of 28 days.
Keep carbs low and add as much fresh foods to the diet in replacement of pet foods. ie eggs, canned sardines, blended veg and any meats.
@@DanScott1thank you.
@@robertmadsen4071 Your welcome.
Hi Dan,can I mix up all these ingredients together and feed them to my dogs at once time?
Yes you could do that.
Can you send me a list of what I need to treat all the worms including heart worms
If your dogs kidneys are generally in good shape then this one remedy will clear the lot including heartworm: Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
Drops are given by weight of dog?, once for 14 days, stop 7 days, then final 14 days. All worms/larvae/eggs clear.
Regarding pumpkin seeds, I saw in another video that raw ones are the best recommended for deworming your dogs. Can you back that up?
Yes, raw and well ground up.
Thank you for all your knowledge.. I'm curious if any one of these can be given daily every day?
You could with all 7. I'd maybe not use the pumpkin seeds all the time or the coconut oil but the others, yes.
@@DanScott1 Thank you doctor Scott for your very quick response, I greatly appreciate it. As most of us know garlic has been planted in our heads as very very toxic for our dogs, So my biggest question is I've got a 100 lbs 2.5 yr female Saint and a 115lb 10.5 mth old male Saint that has a lot of growing to do. I'm no baker but can cook a mean meal lol, so what would their doses be? I also seen a video last night before yours from veterinarian secrets by Dr. John's, he used ¼ garlic powder and ¼ cinnamon per 10lbs of body weight daily. Which is why I ask about the powder. I gave them both a dose on there food and they both eat it. So is the clove way better then the powder?
@@DanScott1 also, instead of me locating the other videos I watched of yours about neem oil for ticks and fleas, in your video I believe you said to mix 50/50, i used olive oil cus im out of coconut oil, how often should I apply it to all their spots and does it just obsorb into their system so that ticks And mosquitoes to bite?
The other was about acv, our male Saint is itchy on the best of days, I've eliminated fresh boiled chicken as training Enticer which cut his itching down to about 40/50%, they are on TLC all stages dog food. The only other thing I'm thinking his itch is still present from, is maybe whole grain? So do I just add it to their water, hoe much, or can it be given Corally at what does? I think that is it lol
@@DanScott1 oh and can the neem oil, acv once a day, and garlic be given daily and permanently, once or twice daily, if they work? Thank you again for you great advice. Tired of putting poison in to our dogs and lining vets pocket. 😁
@@LilBitJo Don't use garlic powder! (lost it's power this way as only fresh can provide the Allicin medidicinal needed) Only use organic fresh garlic. Fine chop, let sit 15mins, add to meals. 1 level tsp per 30lbs dog weight. Once daily for 2 weeks then once weekly. Don't use if pregnant or using vet drugs. Other great health benefits too.
I Love ACV, Dan. I was surprised to know that adding some apple cider vinegar in their water helps to prevent or at least deter the worms.
The question is... Will they drink it?? 🤔🙏
Do they like it? Also... the crushed garlic? Would they eat their food if I do as you suggested half a teaspoon 20 pounds, Right?
( sorry if I forgot the exact dosage it was several Comments ago.) 😊👍
I also have pumpkin seeds, so I'll be smashing those up and grinding it for them adding it to their meals.
I greatly appreciate your your video and will be researching the rest of your library to see what other gems I find for my fur babies.😉👍💖
They usually love garlic, the ACV can be in food or water and the seeds are nutritious too. Plenty more nuggets to dig up..
I do recommend Probiotics 12 strains 5B CFU's - amzn.to/3pZp7oB
and Live Enzymes: amzn.to/2ksvlx1
and Hemp Seed oil: amzn.to/3vDdtjX
Makes a good healthy difference to skin, coat, brain health, digestion and much, much more. Try them and let me know the difference they make.
@@DanScott1 Thank you kindly Dan. I'll give those a try.👍 Well, just to let you know I did put the ACV in their water, a quarter or perhaps half a teaspoon since both doggies drink from a medium Bowl.
Let me tell you after the first lick of drinking water they both stopped LOL, I really laughed so hard. So I added more water to break them in, and now they are drinking from it. 😉💖
It is rather diluted but I'd rather have them get started like that. Thank you so much sir! 😊👍
@@alinafstrmom7725 No worries, your welcome.Yes I can imagine their faces lol.
Thank you for the information. When it comes to garlic do I give your recommended dose every single day? I believe my dog has worms. How would I actually know when the worms are gone? Will the diarrhea stop? Will he be putting back on the weight that he lost? More energy?
If it's worms, hell recover form after they are gone. With the other remedy, the black walnut/clove, it just works, so following the 28 day protocol, you'll know the worms are gone. Then it's about good diet withh some fresh food in it, not just dry food.
@@DanScott1 Got ya. Thank you. I started giving him two cloves of garlic yesterday and today I already see an improvement. He has more energy today. Being playful. Not sleeping as much. The diarrhea has stopped. Now it’s solid and just a little mushy instead of liquid. I don’t hear his stomach making noise anymore either. What type of worms cause a dog to lick there anus? I did notice today it’s a little swollen but nothing to crazy. I’m guess from the diarrhea he was having and I also noticed little white stuff but not a lot on his anus
@@elpapigrande4035 Kinda look like sessame seeds stuck to the anus area. That's worms. Garlic it is then. Garlic has many benefits.
Remember to fine chop the garlic first and lit sit 15mins before serving for best results.
Hey Dan, my 8 week old pup got his first round of dewormer about 2 days ago, his belly doesn’t seem bloated but it’s hard hes pooped out some round worms, But his stool looks normal no diarrhea and he’s playful but has the hiccups sometimes for about 1-2 minutes I can’t tell if he doesn’t feel good or not if this is not normal
Is this the dewormer I discuss in the video? If it's a vet dewormer, can't comment as I don't ever recommend them.
He seems ok from what your saying.
I ordered the black walnut drops, first pup and I get a little to worried I appreciate your quick responses and your help I’ll definitely be following your videos
So, I ordered the black walnut/woodworm tincture. It doesn’t contain clove. Should I soak cloves in the tincture for a time for maximum effectiveness?
If it's from my link, it has all 3 ingredients.
@@DanScott1 You’re right! I didn’t read the ingredient list 🤷♀️ I just looked at the front label. It’s on its way from Amazon. Thanks for this info!!

I have a sanctuary for unwanted cats. Recently I had a flea infestation, and used your method for ridding of fleas, and it works great. However now I have noticed a lot of worms namely tapeworms. I use Ivermectin Horse Paste on my horses. I was wondering, can I use this on my cats? And if so what would be the dosages? Thank you.
I've no data on Ivermectin and cats, sorry. For worms I use Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE

could this work for cats as well?
Some of it. You can use garlic but just a 1/4 clove.
Or use this: Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
1 drop added to one meal daily for 14 days, stop 7 days then 14 further days and finished.. all worms, eggs, young dead and expelled.
Any discomfort eraly on stop protocol. Cat should be generally healthy.

Garlic, pumkin seeds, kefir and carrot and acv in water?
Yes.

Ripe is fine.

What about heart worms? All vets want you to give heartworm treatment monthly, but it’s winter time, even though it doesn’t really get cold in Hawaii, the incidence of mosquitoes is very rare.

Hi how much and how often should I give my puppy garlic for work does it work on giardia.
Fine chop the garlic cloves and let sit for 15 minutes to release the allicin befor serving.
Here’s how much garlic to give your dog:
Small dogs: up to ¼ clove, twice a day
Medium dogs: ½ clove, twice a day
Large dogs: up to ¾ clove twice a day
Giant breeds: up to 1 clove twice a day
What about coconut cream? I give my chihuahua a small dose every morning with her natural allergy supplement. Hoping the coconut cream has other benefactors?
Coconut milk is not toxic to dogs and can even offer a few health benefits, such as strengthening the immune system, freshening their breath, and improving the appearance of their coat.
Oh I KNOW it's not toxic. Who would think that? It's a very healthy fat. We are non-dairy. We eat Paleo. So our animals are fed very well.@@DanScott1
@@creativegirl9710 It's amazing what some people think, just being prudent. Great to hear about the diet and appreciate your reply.
Garlic causes extreme diarrhea in many dogs. Fatal levels of diarrhea as who can realistically IV their dog
Lotta garlic to make that happen. Missunderstood how good garlic is at the right levels as tested. Great healer too.
Does this work in cats as well|?
Maybe not the garlic but the rest are ok.
I heard garlic is bad for Pomeranian. Is that true? My Pom have worms.I just found out when he had diarrhea. He still have it even with normal stool. I cook food for him, 75% meat. The rest are kale, green beans, broccoli, sweet potatoes.
Fresh organic garlic is excellent for everyone. It's just the amounts that change according to size. There is also a 3 part remedy you can use which just means adding drops to food daily. :Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE

Hi Dan! Drea Miran here again😊 One of the puppies that we gave to my son is with me again for a few moths but he has WORMS! My son was not diligent or successful like I was with my puppies in the protocol to remove them😓 I started your recommended protocol but we are at day 14 and his stool, though solid, is still full of little white worms😓😓 Should I still take a 7 day break before the next 14 days or just continue until hi stool is clear of them?? I'm already adding raw carrots, pumpkin seeds, and coconut oil to his meals which also contain freeze dried raw food. I will certainly add the other suggested foods in this video. Looking forward to your response and thank you SO MUCH again for all of your help with my puppy drama!
Hi Drea, always a pleasure. Thank you for the clear details. It's good, the worms are being expelled. Stop 7 days as per the protocol (this covers all life stages, eggs, larvae, adults and so on).
I'd add a small half clove of garlic, finely chopped, left to sit for 15 minutes, then add to food once daily. That will help to keep clearing the worms out plus it's healthy for the body in other ways.
Crush those pumpkin seeds. Mash the carrots.

Give 6 drops once daily in food for 14 days, stop 7 days, then go again for 14 days and stop. All worms, eggs and larvae dead and gone. First few days give 3 drops to ease in.
Use this method anytime he gets worms.
Then: add some fresh food to the diet if kibble only. Think raw eggs, canne dsardines and lots of green veg part cooked and blended. Plus some probiotics: SBO Probiotics - amzn.to/3yoURqU

Just adopted a 6-8 week old puppy, vet told us she has hookworms and i am freaking out. he wants to give her the medication but i came searching for a better route. how contagious is this to humans and other dogs? should i isolate her?
Not issue to humans, potential with other dogs via eggs in faeces so discard in trash.
Organic, raw pumpkin seeds are one of the best ways to treat hookworms in dogs. They contain an amino acid called cucurbitin which paralyzes the worms and eliminates them from your dog’s digestive tract.
Crush or grind raw seeds and give ¼ - 1 tsp per 10 lbs of weight once or twice a day until the parasites are gone.
Also Olive leaf is a potent antioxidant that fights hookworms. It has a high oleuropein content (use one with at least 12%) to get rid of worms and support detoxification. Olive leaf interrupts pathogenic activity.
How To Give Olive Leaf: Miniature dog: 150 mg daily: Olive Leaf Ticture - amzn.to/3JLX5sm
With both the above should go in a couple weeks.
I recommend a fresh food diet also for the best health.
Could a husky eat Garlic
Yes but make it raw and organic. Fine chopped, let sit 15 mins before serving. 1tsp for the meal 2x daily for 7 days, then every other day for 3 weeks and done.
Dr. Scott; a week ago I just acquired a sable German shepherd puppy( he's 2months)& he was dewormed by the breeders by the vet that they used 2 weeks ago. I've been giving him a teaspoon of tumeric daily because I no longer want to rely on big pharma( even in veterinary medicine) anymore,& today I bought some cold pressed virgin coconut oil and some pumpkin seeds, to add to the arsenal for worm removal. Any tips to offer? What is your take on continuing the treatment until the puppy reaches 6months of age? I'm new to your channel, and I'd appreciate any advice you could give.
If the puppy has no worms you do nothing out of the ordinary except maybe diet.. I would feed a raw food diet and some supplements myself, it's the best diet and as you say, zero vet vaxx, dewormers, drugs generally as there's natural for all.
And if worms do show up, use this: Black Walnut, Clove & Wormwood Extract: amzn.to/2S8paBE
I made a video specifically about this remedy for worms. And if you want an excellent diet ebook: healthydogforlife.com/feed-your-dog-better-book-by-dan-scott/

@@DanScott1 I'm also thinking of stopping the heartgard and nexgard for my 4 year old German Shepherd; As we post, it's been a month since his last " treatment", and after observing how energetic his "little brother" is without "Big Pharma's" intervention, I'm about to include him into the "Naturalista lifestyle"(😉) as well. You've inspired me to look to natural alternatives for our pets, and after looking back in history in regards of how people lived without constantly going to "Doc" & his buddy "Pharma", folks were healthier, and so were their pets! Unless a dog got bit by a racoon and caught rabies, they were fine. I remember back in the late 1970's -early 1980's we had a dog that only got dewormed as a puppy and after that he grew to a healthy happy dog; He never got sick, either, and he spent 90% percent of his time outside(walks, fenced backyard, where he did "security patrol"{ our backyard was 9 acres at least}). So now I am wondering; Gradual or cold turkey in regards to taking him off the "gards"?
@@paulajames3937 Excellent idea, just run the black walnut/clove/wormwood 28 day protocol once annually to stop prevent heartworm (see other deworming video).
Cold turkey off the guards. Give Protect: (humic & fulvic acid) amzn.to/33P2P1i to help.
Isn't garlic toxic to dogs?
Was just talking about that! It's an amazing healer used correctly.
Here are some ways garlic helps keep your dog healthy:
Prevents the formation of blood clots (anti-platelet)
Decreases cholesterol build-up (anti-cholesterolemic)
Widens blood vessels (vasodilator)
Helps prevent the formation of tumors (anti-tumor)
Stimulates the lymphatic system to remove wastes
Antibiotic, antifungal and antiparasitic
Using a level measuring spoon, feed the following amount of fresh organic fine chopped garlic per day, according to your dog’s weight:
5lbs: 1/6 tsp
10lbs: 1/3tsp
15 lbs: 1/2 tsp
20lbs: 2/3 tsp
30 lbs: 1 tsp
🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
My dog is 77lbs. Can i give her one garlic clove daily?
1tsp daily for 1 week, then twice weekly. Only give fresh fine chopped garlic prepared 10mins before feeding.
Is It Safe for Dogs to Eat Garlic?
Garlic might be good for people, but dogs metabolize certain foods differently than we do. According to the Merck Veterinary Manual, garlic and other members of the allium family, including onions, contain thiosulfate, which is toxic to dogs but not to humans.
Very safe and highly effective home remedy in the corect doses. Here's my video on garlic for dogs: ua-cam.com/video/i6mRpE-8jEs/v-deo.html

Merck & Co. Controversies and Lawsuits
Because of Merck’s long history in the U.S. and the vast number of products produced, the company has faced thousands of lawsuits. Some of the other drugs that have led to litigation against Merck & Co. include:
Fosamax
Januvia
Nuvaring
Propecia
Zostavax
Gardasil
In the last decade or so, Merck & Co. has paid out over $4.85 billion in judgements and settlements for lawsuits regarding Vioxx, including one $950 million settlement and millions of dollars for lawsuits, settlements and penalties related to other drugs. Some lawsuits have been dismissed but many may still remain in open courts.
Vioxx Scandal
The most well-known corporate scandal involving Merck & Co. is the Vioxx scandal. Vioxx was once a leading pharmaceutical pain treatment used for diseases like osteoarthritis. Like other Cox-2 inhibitors, Vioxx was linked to heart attack and death in some users and the company was accused of concealing risks of the medication.
Merck faced thousands of Vioxx lawsuits and has paid over $4.85 billion in settlements, fines and other payments for drug injury and criminal liabilities due to Vioxx. The medication was recalled in 2004 and most cases were settled as part of a group settlement offer in 2008, however some non-injury agreements have yet to be met regarding securities and stockholder misconduct.
Fosamax Lawsuits
Osteoporosis medication, Fosamax (alendronate) was known to cause gastrointestinal problems and worsen certain other health conditions. Patients have reported experiencing problems of the esophagus such as trouble swallowing (dysphagia), and gastritis (digestive irritation) and may develop esophageal erosion due to gastric reflux.
Although Fosamax is intended to prevent bone loss, the medication may cause a loss of bone density. Patients reported bone fractures, and some developed a condition known as osteonecrosis of the jaw (ONJ) which caused in a loss of jawbone tissue.
Hundreds of lawsuits were filed, claiming that Merck knew about the dangers of Fosamax and though many of the lawsuits were dismissed, court battles are still ongoing including a Supreme Court judgment which directed the lower courts reconsider a ruling that allowed lawsuits to go to trial. Attempts to add warnings to the Fosamax label have been largely rejected by the FDA and the drug remains available in both brand name and generic form.
Januvia and Janumet Lawsuits
Januvia (sitagliptin) is a newer medication for treating type 2 diabetes. It gained FDA approval in 2006 but like similar medications, has caused many different health problems for patients. A related medication, Janumet, is a combination of sitagliptin and metformin and may also be responsible for a number of injuries.
By 2011, over 200 patients had reported cases of pancreatitis as a result of Januvia. About 10 to 30 percent of these cases were fatal. Since then, hundreds of patients have reported pancreatic cancer and pancreatic disorder and patients, and their families have filed suit for compensation of these cases.
Januvia/Janumet lawsuits were combined with similar sglt2 medications, Byetta and Victoza lawsuits into a multidistrict litigation against Merck & Co. to help move through the cases more efficiently. No settlements have been announced for any of the medications.
Zostavax and Gardasil Lawsuits
Vaccine compensation for injuries falls under federal jurisdiction and compensated by federal funding, however a number of claims of drug injury and others of ineffectiveness are still under consideration for Merck vaccines Zostavax and Gardasil.
One family may have met the “burden of proof” for HPV vaccine, Gardasil injury or death and appears to be advancing in the court system while others have been compensated by the U.S. government as part of the National Vaccine Injury Compensation Program.
Lawsuits against Zostavax claim that instead of protecting patients against the Varicella Zoster virus, the vaccine caused them to develop a more severe infection resulting in painful blisters, scarring and nerve damage. No settlements have yet been decided but the number of lawsuits appears to be growing and may reach into the hundreds.

I thought garlic was bad for dogs?
Yes, many do. It's a powerful healer for many things and a great antibiotic too. Great for getting rid of worms while working as a probiotic at the same time and full of vitamins and minerals.
Plenty of science on it and testing.
1/2 tsp per 15lbs of your dogs body weight is way, way under any tolerance limit.
Onions are bad for dogs and some folk mistakenly group garlic in with onions ... But research has shown that they are fine with garlic
