- A huge thank you to @megjournals for the wonderful prompt list and inspiration. I knew the coming week would be busy, so I worked ahead and completed the pages for days 1-10, all utilizing my vision for the prompt and little bits of scrap lace. Thank you all for joining the fun, for watching and for your kindness. Take care and happy creating.
What can I say about this one beautiful journal and your humbleness heart when saying that it is not your idea…well amazing. ❤ You Mrs. Cori are one of the most talented journalists people I have ever seen. All of your fine works are the most inspiring. I’ll start seeing videos of journalism because of you and the way you explain everything that makes me start making some journals for me, for my sisters, friends and family (even one of my grandchild-niece wanted to learn and ask me to teach her, so together we watched your videos and enjoy). Thank you so much for sharing and teaching us on how to make beautiful “books “ ! ❤ We love you 🥰
What a sweetly thoughtful and immensely kind comment. Thank you, Marisol, for taking the time to brighten my week. I love learning from others and appreciate all the inspiration I receive. It's truly my pleasure to pass that on to others. Bless you and happy creating ❤️
Your projects show so much inspiration Cori. Love all the different ways you're using those little bits of lace! TFS

Thank you, Gaye. I'm having an excellent time making it and I love seeing that others are joining the fun 😊
Love how your work is so precise. I love both styles, neat and precise and messy and uneven. My brain is neat and my heart is messy…❤. I just wish I had half of the creativity that you possess. Your skill in and out of your craft room are amazing. I once tried working with a bandsaw and sold it very quickly for fear of losing a finger.😂
Thank you and hmmmmm. A bandsaw is one of the few tools I don't yet have. Maybe I should stay away!
I just love your work /style. Thank you for sharing.
You are so welcome and thank you!
Love the ideas for the little bits of lace.
Thank you!
It's turning out so cute, love all the ideas!! 💜💜💜

This is such a beautiful journal already. I can't wait to see the finished journal. Great ideas! ❤😊 Happy New Year!
Thank you so much and a very happy and blessed 2024 to you!
Cori, loved this episode! Going to use some(many!) of your ideas in '24. Spent the last while binge watching some of your earlier videos and just wanted to leave you and your subscribers a great tip my sister passed on to me. I know how much you love your diecuts but hate having to clean out the tiny cutouts. Simply put a fabric softener sheet on your bottom plate, place your paper on top, place die, run through, and remove your cut paper, it'll leave behind all the little bits on the fabric sheet. Works like a charm! Thanks for all your great videos!
Thank you for the kindness and for that fantastic tip! I'm looking forward to giving it a go 😊
Looking good so far, you have the best ideas. 😘
You are too kind, thank you!

Fabulous. And thank you. I have a huge drawer of lace that I rarely use. Because if your inspiration, I am making intentional use of lace throughout my JJJ book. (My word for 2024 is "intentioal.")
Intentional is a fantabulous word and I'm so happy to hear that you're using your lace-y treasures!
Clever ideas, Cori!

I love the way you’ve combined the Junk Journal January challenge with your Little Bit of Lace challenge, and Tracie’s monthly challenge! You are such a creative thinker ❤️ How fun is it when your IRL and online lives collide - what a sweet shoutout.
Finding time to create the things I want to make is always a challenge. I love joining fun challenges btu again, time. This was I can do a bit of everything... well, most things, but with a twist. Thank you, Denise!
Really beautiful! Love how this little journal is just beaming with creativity. You are so inspiring! Hugs🤗❤️
Thank you ❤️ Hugs right back to you!
Wow..simply amazing! When you see scraps, your mind goes crazy with ideas of how to work them into a journal the “Cori” way. I am mesmerized.
LOL. You definitely have the "crazy" part right! Thank you 😊
Thank you Cori. You have the cutest ideas for little bits of lace. Hugs
I'm having fun with the lace, for sure. Thank you!
Absolutely stunning. I was wondering if you could show how you make your journal to put the pages in. It looks very intriguing. I have creating paralysis when it comes to journals like this because the become alligator mouth journals and it's really not how I want my journals to look... I really enjoy watching you. So creative!!!! Thank you!
Thank you and I've shared this spine system in the last few months.... it should be in a video about 3-5 back.
Thank you so much Cori! You are so talented and give such great ideas.
I'm happy to hear that you enjoy them. Thank you!
Hi Cori, I'm loving your videos!!! Yesterday, I loved your template for your reinforced hole in your tags. Hope you are enjoying your school year. ❤
Thank you, sweet Pat!
I love the different interactive pages. I can't seem to figure out the one you did with the corner insert to fit the angled pocket at time 3:06. Have you demonstrated that techinque before. I like it so much as you teach and explain things. It is so helpful.
Hi Pamela! I think/hope I answered your question in my latest video.... I hope. If not, please let me know and I'll try to get more specific.
Thank you, Cori! Gorgeous pages! Maybe the lovely fabric in the christening gown is what we used to call voile (think this is the spelling, pronounced like foil except with a “v”). Do not know if this fabric is still available. 😀💞
Excellent thought, Keryn! It very well could be. I just know that it is very thin and sheer. It sure is pretty to look at and tough as well 😊
Great ideas.
Thank you!
Thank you so much for sharing Cori
This was inspiring for the new year.
You do beautiful work can’t wait to watch more of it
Thank you Trina and welcome!
