Nice video, just installed mine and sent the ecu out. I had a very tough time getting the center plastic piece off of the tank, what helped me was wiggling the piece a little bit. DNA mentioned a hose to reconnect on the cover but I could not find anything.
From what I understand the bike would run too lean which may cause some issues if left that way. So yes, in my opinion I wouldn’t use this filter without flashing the ecu.

@@uhpucker8486 I’ve never put it on a dyno but stock is about 69 horsepower to the wheels (75 at the engine) and with the dna filter, Akra exhaust and ecu flash…It’s only about 70-71 hp at the wheels but in the low end it’s a lot more torque. 3-4 ft lbs more. Moremafia did a dyno video of this bike that’s really good.
@@Kmoto530 ah okay was just wondering as i have one myself planning on getting filter and map done already got full exhaust system on it just wondered what power it brought bike up to so thank you for the help how are you finding the filter so far still good any issues anything like that ?
that filter will do nothing. the stock air filter will flow as good. this why the airbox is the restrition not the filter. do a mod on the air box then dna will work with out the mod on air box you will gain nothing. will show you on tyno will post a vid next week. and it not just the snorkel.

went with hordpower, now to cut or do it the hard way
So, if I don't have the ECU flashed, there is no point in installing this filter, correct??

What turn signals do you have? The OEM ones keep falling off for me.

Depends on how often you ride and the environment in which you ride. Just to be safe I’d check the air filter after every other oil change.
Its annoying that even though its a naked bike, how many parts have to come off just to get to air filter

As in coolant? No.
Water going inside the filter as you have eliminated the snorkel
Oh gotcha lol…I don’t typically ride in enough rain to notice. When washing the bike I’m just mindful not to spray too much water in that direction.
DNA air filter is a waste of money plus they asking $100 for a plastic bracket that cost more than the filter,
They are expensive…the k&n filter is probably a better option for most people.
