I just.... I can't believe it. But I got to, because a guy's right there on my screen. This is seriously my most favorite mashup of channels that could ever be. Thank you!
I love how everyone runs to help each other. Where I live I'm the same way. I runs outside to help others no matter the weather. This is the way I was raised in Mississippi. But you think these same people comes out and ask me do I need any help? No one of them. This nation is going to shipt because we don't look out for each others no more. The bible tells us to love each other with all of our heart. Not judge each other. This is why Fab Rats is my favorite channel. Paul take care of everyone without a though. He just do it because its the right thing to do. He do it without any selfish reason.
Great video! Derek lives not far from me. I see his vehicles out on the road occasionally but I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting him yet. Hopefully I will run into him one day so I can say hello.
Awesome video of Fab Rats, Robby, Rudy, Colt and Matt having fun at the On X challenge. Love Fab Rats taking a tour of Rusty Acres with VGG and Derek. Love these UA-cam channels!
I know that red ford. I know who built it. Gene did sign it. He didn't chop it. It has fiberglass fenders on it because the originals needed a good bit of work and I bought the original steel fenders from the truck to use on a 36 ford pickup I had. The original builder is from Paris tx. He's a pretty cool dude. He also was building a panel truck the same year. The truck used to be nicer but got parked for years then sold to the guy vice grip bought it from. At one time it had a bigger Engine in it if I remember correctly. Which barely fit. Like a 383 Chrysler or something like that. And it used to be primer grey with flames on the front.
The engine in the wrecker sounded awesome when Paul let it eat. It sounds like a well balanced, solid engine ready for the rpm's @ anytime, and loves it.
Derek just, a great guy he'll help anybody in reason but he's so busy with everything he's got to do and keep up and manage everything I couldn't imagine bless him and his wife, 🙏 family
Good to see Ian involved with all you guys doing what you all love to do. It’s a real shame that Jessi isn’t there also. She would have fit right in. RIP 🙏🏻😢
I gotta hand it to you for blurring out the background to keep Derek's privacy. I saw another vid of friends at his place that were not so careful and showed a little too much in my opinion. I mean the poor feller only gets 15 minutes with the wife and little humans he's responsible for between running all around the globe. 👍
Thanks for sharing your adventures. And more importantly you have a big heart for helping everyone along with Rory, between you guys nobody had to worry about being stranded without help.
This is so fun to watch because of the camaraderie between every body involved. I never get tired of watching the off road and racing communities work together. Thanks guys for the entertainment.
Found his channel few months back. Love every one of the episodes. This channel is perfect mix of what I like wrenching, carnage, mudding/off-roading and tomfoolery. Glad i found fab rats.
I really really REALLY love and want the Rebel. To finish it for Drag and Drive would be a dream. Thanks for taking us on a visit to the Rusty acres. - Navy Veteran 🇺🇸
The bigger tires on the wrecker are awesome as well as the engine is tuned well. The best part was filling Robby’s cab with sand, lots of sand. I wish you the best.
I love it! Derek, and Paul at Rusty Acres…. I’m looking forward to joint ventures between Tennessee and Utah! Love you guys! Keep up the good content 🙃
I love that everyone picked non 4x4 rigs, if your gonna put super duty axles and 4 link and everything is gonna be custom built, might as well do it to something interesting or weird!
Thank you for including the VGG segment. I laughed at seeing that mid engine Rebel again. That car keeps rearing it's ugly head. Started at Demolition Ranch I think. Anyway. Two of my favorite content. You, Derek, and of course Matt. Thanks again for what you do.
No surprise you both are good friends but also fans of each others work. You are both incredible fab and repair technicians and of course great entertainers. Thanks for sharing and of course we loved it! 😊
That big bootied Red Square body is just a gorgeous piece of machinery that any car guy worth a salt would be proud to have in his stable.. Cool part is,, That is an achievable ride for most of us
I love watching so many people and families having fun and I mean a boatload of fun and no one's indulging in mind-altering substance .It's Just Pure Clean fun .God bless you all for a clean video..❤ be safe.
Paul, I'm so looking forward to this build. My father and I bought a 59 Willys in the late 80's with no motor and nothing in the interior but the body was clean and straight. We ended up selling it for four times what we paid for it and instead we took a pack trip. Neither of us had the time or the motivation to get going on that build but it was definitely a dream for us. He passed in 2021 and I miss him so much. I want you to win because that has ever since been a favorite of mine. Good luck and I can't wait to watch your video of this project. All the best, Pat
@@danjones1365 probably not , I have a 1954 Chevy standard disc brakes , bagged , 392 Hemi sleeper ranch car . And a 34 three window lowboy LS powered Ford . I think only by definition there all hot rods except for the mini 😎
Paul that was awesome when you showed about Derek at Rusty Acres. And you did a Awesome job at the Onyx Build Challenge and the good part was the the rat rod Wrecker
You think so? They're staged! Look at the 37 Chev he just rescued, It's supposedly been parked for 25 years and he puts a battery in it and it starts right up. points, plugs wire and starter just happened to be good and there was was no rust or other junk in the tank. And when he moves it you can see there was green grass under the car. That car was prepped and put there just prior to filming.
Don't be afraid of paint guys. It's ok to paint them and then let them get scratched and dented again along the way. Just don't spend $20-$30K on a paintjob when Implement paint will work just fine. Painting them will also help preserve them longer, they won't look like crap, and maybe the Po Po won't stop you for a roadside inspection...
Gene windfield only chops 4 inches on everything, that is his benchmark, he say why not 4 inches, and then he says every day is a skhool day lol thanks guys.BigAl California.
Started watching VGG before discovering Matt and then you guys. Glad to see some of my favorite car people enjoy each others company as much as I enjoy watching them!
At 30:48 and 31:05 that expression on Pauls face and his door opening was hilarious 😂 he looked like a kid at at go cart track for the first time. I love @fabrats!!!
That Scout brought back memories. High school.. worked at a dealership as a Lot Boy. Used car lot had a Scout come in on a trade. They asked me to "test drive" it.. absolute handful.. but had to have it. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to buy due to a high school summer job pay. Many years later, I got in a 78 Jimmy.. not a Scout.. but still fun
Awesome action, awesome ability to think on your those, and awesome kindness of helping out your fellow competitors, while as an added bonus, showing off the wreckers new power unit with its supercharged performance and capabilities!!! And, while FabRats and the Willy's build will be the number one team I root for, as far as I see it, with a bunch of other competitors that I already follow and root for, it will be a win-win to see all you compete and entertain!!!
Paul in my opinion top priority should be making sure you have a door that will shut and stay shut to keep you safe. I am looking forward to this build series. You guys should be part of the tow truck race Utah vs Florida. I think you would do really good with the motor you have in your truck
This was awesome! I am eagerly waiting for the next episode. Paul, you’ve got this. After seeing what you did with your wrecker I have complete confidence that you will win!! You’ve got a great platform to start with and with your talents of being able to create an amazing vehicle with little resources, you are going to win this challenge!! Go Team Fab Rats!! 🎉
Has Derek and a fella had a few wobble pops before looking round the cars
definitely but good to see a feller relaxin
A guy needs that every once in a while
Yep, nothin but authentic chillin with the boys👍🏻
Probably black velvet as well.
What? Paul and Derek in one video🤯, two of my favorite!!!
Its great to see a bunch of people getting together and don't care who wins or lose just having fun
Favorite part is when Paul just SENDS It with the wrecker. that's when he's at his best, the big smile.
That's got to be the best sounding tow truck on UA-cam
I guess just about anybody could do that if one wasn't afraid of breaking something! He's fearless because he has the skills to fix it.
I just.... I can't believe it. But I got to, because a guy's right there on my screen. This is seriously my most favorite mashup of channels that could ever be. Thank you!
These two are my favorite on the UA-cams. They need to do a collaboration project.
Preach! FabRats, Trailmater, and VGG are all I need in my life.
@TxIndy01 same here! I love it.
@scottgray7779 I'd be good with Rory too!
Agree 100% Fab-Rats and VGG are my favorite 2 channels
I love how everyone runs to help each other. Where I live I'm the same way. I runs outside to help others no matter the weather. This is the way I was raised in Mississippi. Derrek's stuff is legendary for sure. Challenge was cool but that wrecker is absolutely awesome. Nice job.
When Paul pulled Robbie 💪💪💪That wrecker is nasty 💪💪💪
Awesome video of Fab Rats, Robby, Rudy, Colt and Matt having fun at the On X challenge. Love Fab Rats taking a tour of Rusty Acres with VGG and Derek. Love these UA-cam channels!
FULL SEND with the tow truck was EPIC!!! From Airborne to Robbie's sand shower!!! That needs to be a UA-cam Short!
Thanks for sharing 🇨🇦
Lol its funny seeing Derek a little tuned up on the cold snacks😂
This is how to start a Friday morning, VGG and Fab Rats tour at rusty acres . Fantastic video . Cheers 🇨🇦
YES!!! Paul & Derek together! Awesome! Just wished there was more footage.
I been watching Derek for around 10 years & he one the first i ever followed every show !
Great episode with 2 of my favorites. Funny that we get to see some of Derek's best toys on Paul's channel.
Good morning everyone, beautiful morning.
Snowing here, but indeed beautiful.
Rat Rod Wrecker for the WIN! I love how Paul just goes full send . The wrecker sounds great!
Papaw Sherm’s tow truck is B.A.! The LS is exactly what was needed. Good job all!
I love that you're helping lighten up the field of rusty acres..
He needs help with it.
It's only a problem if you seek professional help. 😅

The tow truck under load making that 1-2 shift sounded so awesome, literally gave me goose bumps
The wrecker is a beast! always was, but that new engine! WOW!
That bag trick just blew my mind. Thanks for that nugget.
Definitely one to keep in mind, although I don't know if I'd want to do it in a diff with a locker.
Dont do it with anything worth more than gettin out of the woods hahah @@KarlEller
Yeah, ziplock bag w gear oil is a old standby trick. It's been used for dif's and gear boxes for years in years past.

This is one of my favorite episodes. 2 of my favorite UA-cam personalities and have been fortunate enough to meet both fellers.
Thanks for sharing your adventures. And more importantly you have a big heart for helping everyone along with Rory, between you guys nobody had to worry about being stranded without help.
Thank you for showing us Derrick's cool stuff!!!
This is a good truck
Man the wrecker sounds wicked with that new engine.
Awesome to see my 2 favorite youtubers on the same page you two need to work together on a vehicle
Look n like there s gonna be some crazy rig s on this season ,
This is so fun to watch because of the camaraderie between every body involved. I never get tired of watching the off road and racing communities work together. Thanks guys for the entertainment.

Love Love Love Rusty Acres.... 😍 The challenge sure has some vehicles that are going to need some real magic 🙂
Man that Supercharged LS in the Tow truck sounds so dang good. That bit at the end was epic where Paul hit that 3 times to get up it
Gene Winfield lives right here near my house ,in the desert 🏜 California,,,thanks, BigAl California.
I really really REALLY love and want the Rebel. To finish it for Drag and Drive would be a dream.
Thanks for taking us on a visit to the Rusty acres.
- Navy Veteran 🇺🇸
It's really nice watching him being a real person. I have way more respect for him being real!
Paul your tow truck is a BEAST. love that truck
When I was working the Rigs my derrick hand had a couple of those Scouts. 25-28 miles to the gallon loaded with roughnecks.
Is it bad that I've seen almost every episode of VGG and recognize most of these cars? guess I've been a fan longer than I thought.
I remember his initial episode on the International Scout Nissan Diesel. I wanted it then and I still want it now😢
I love to see channels collaborate. It raises viewership for both channels.
The bigger tires on the wrecker are awesome as well as the engine is tuned well. The best part was filling Robby’s cab with sand, lots of sand. I wish you the best.
Great video today! Thank you FabRats. Always look forward to seeing you post.
Your wrecker when you was pulling Robby's bread van you the challenge was like a rototiller digging really deep holes and plaster Robby with sand.
Thank you for including the VGG segment. I laughed at seeing that mid engine Rebel again. That car keeps rearing it's ugly head. Started at Demolition Ranch I think. Anyway. Two of my favorite content. You, Derek, and of course Matt. Thanks again for what you do.

The “Car Community.” Awesome. 2 of my favorites.

Fab rats mafia! you guys rule!
Quite the assortment of hot rods for this challenge. Now comes what I believe will be some cool builds , I guess we’ll see . Thanks
You and I have different standards for what qualifies as a hot rod😂
@@danjones1365 probably not , I have a 1954 Chevy standard disc brakes , bagged , 392 Hemi sleeper ranch car . And a 34 three window lowboy LS powered Ford . I think only by definition there all hot rods except for the mini 😎

Absolute Kaos..
FREAKING LOVE THIS
Bunch of tubers with low-budget cars.. off-road competition and having fun.
Awesome
She really set the bar.
Nice run.
Super fun to watch the wrecker do its thing.
Derek’s Roadworthy Rescues is an awesome show👍
You think so? They're staged! @tyendor503 Personally, I just think it's far more entertaining than the onX build challenge👍
The mid engine AMC Rebel is the first VGG video I watched, it was a wild ride.

What a great group of people out there having fun!!
Those dualmatic hubs are notorious for breaking
Wife’s family owned an IH dealership in Michigan. Evans Ag, whole family are scout fans. Father in law had an awesome one.
Choo Choo Customs also did a body kit on early 80s El Caminos. Not exactly sure of the years but help restore one when I worked in a body shop.
It was so good to see Betty White!! I thought you might have sold it😖give a guy a heart attack!
it's always fun hangin' with Derek.
My two favorite channels did a vid together?! Well I’ll be dipped
Yo Fabrats, it's time to make a slammed chevy on airbags! Let's see that project come to life!
Can't wait to see this build, it's gonna be AWESOME. Thanks for the video guy's can't wait for the next one.
love turbo diesel and that scout is awesome
In 1980 I was a body tech at international trucks in SLC. I worked on the diesel scouts❤
Y'all need to build that 4 door Chevy slammed to the ground just like that red one. A shop parts go getter truck.
Peace and love from south Texas.
that went from give her the bacon to given her the whole damn wild bore!!! Loved Derek and rusty acres... Good luck with build

And then of course all the rest of our favorite guys.
