I think his “satanism” was his way to rebel against Christianity… his view of Satan was the Christian view, that Satan is the bad guy…. But he wanted to be on the bad side cuz the good side didn’t do anything for him.

I think a big fat detective who enjoyed killing from his military training in Vietnam ...returned to the USA and became a cop then got away with mass murder and created a serial killer who had one or two cases , then became famous for it.....lucky for him DNA profiling wasn't used back then so it worked out well for this very overtold Hollywood story that to.this day has everyone believing it

It was revealed in philip carlos book of him Ramirez had inner conflict and turned to satanism because he thought extensively that god wouldnt aprove of his drug use and bad temper and etc in his adolescence so he thought about satan and how he would accept

I found you from Twitter and I came right here to watch these interviews, all I can say is THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart. I admit I only watched the sections with Robert and Shelly because I wanted some family stories, and they did not disappoint. The way Robert talks about him, there was a lot of love in spite of what he did, and I could feel it.
And I would have told him that people loved him, too.

This is amazing. Love, love, love it. The fact that you recognize that trauma can affect a a kid in so many ways and families is very refreshing (especially in the hispanic community) The families don't want to face the truth of child abuse and see that as bringing shame to the family if it comes out and most times they don't want to belive that a family member can do that to a child and instead say the child is lying or just ignore it. It is a painful life for kids going through child abuse and on top of that being shamed and not supported. This does not excuse his behavior but as you said, the series of events in his life with no acknowledgement definitely lead to his adult life amd the decisions he made.
You are doing amazing, especially with this episode. Keep it up. Can't wait for the next one

Interesting interviews. But I am really bothered by the demeanor of this girl; she chews gum loudly in front of a house where tragedy happened, she brings everything back to herself, I know she isn’t a professional and she’s just passionate about the topic but there is a minimum. When I’m listening to the guy talking about trauma and this black sheep in every family I don’t really care about her jumping and making rocknroll signs as if it’s a joke. I like that it is light hearted, the parts where she interviews Robert are alright, but the rest this chick just makes it infuriating. Also, there is a line between being interested in a particular serial killer because of certain reasons and points that are specific to each individual, and sounding like a groupie jumping around and not being serious even when the topic demands it at some parts. I’m glad I watched it because the point is information and the mood was light, not like these ultra dark serious documentaries .. but maybe some better manners from her would be appreciated for future videos.

On several occasions she sounded like a 16 years old groupie just getting excited over shit he’s done and bringing back stuff to her. Besides, dressing up the way she did, I APOLOGIZE if in other videos that’s her style because I didn’t watch by other video of hers… but if she dressed up for the occasion like that, simply because he liked rock and metal .. then damn, this is a crime doc not a concert …

Obviously the book has to be researched, but a podcast is a completely different thing: she spoke to different people about some aspects of the case, she didn’t say anything to teach us how the things really were…. People say he didn't get justice because he didn't get executed, but dying of cancer (and liver failure) is probably worse. I heard that he refused to go to the hospital the night before he died, and he was dead the next morning. This interviewer is out there on her “Richie account “ defending him to death and simping over him like he is a god. And then she goes that we would find him scary and judges his fans when she is the biggest weirdo out there . Why isn’t she defending her “Richie daddy” on her main huh? Why does she has to have secret pages like elhudini on social media. Is she afraid that she will be judged ?! Because is clear as day she is just a desperate woman trying to feel special when if he would see what she is doing trying to stalk his family, posting them online he would 1. Think this is shit and 2. He would beat her to d€ath and laugh while he is doing it. See pictures with her from years ago she looked ok. Now she looks like a clown and in a eerie way like she tries to be the next Richard Ramirez. Stop judging groupies if you are the biggest weirdo there thinking you are a “true crime encyclopaedia “ when you just do this for Richard Ramirez. You are sh*t and a fraud.
