    Definitely trying this. Have so much trouble bending my knees and habit of doing the heel to toe step. I don’t know when I started walking this way but have battled plantar fasciitis for 5 months until it finally got better so maybe during this time I suppose. Thanks Dr Candy, loving your videos.

      Ironically, doing the heel to to gait can sometimes cause plantar fasciitis because the first impact point is right on the heel where the plantar fascia attaches.

    this is incredible. I started exercising at 45 years old and now I notice that I was walking/running wrong.

      if you walk with a stiff knee, you get
      1. lots of pain in your lower leg, bc you are walking with your ankles. they do more work than they need to
      2. bad kneed. bc a healthy knee needs movement.

      You're welcome. Just bend your knee as much as you can comfortably in the first tip. There's no benefit to "pushing it" past the point of pain.

    I call it my penguin walk! 🙄. How do you do it with bad arthritis in your feet and toes dont bend?

      Rocker bottom shoes can help some people with arthritic toes. They simulate toe extension if you can't get it naturally. Here's one such example: amzn.to/46qIKco

    My knee stays stiff when i walk.its from a meniscus tear plus osteoarthirits stage 4 im only 30 so i dont want knee repalcenent will this work for me😢
