I missed the lyrics but it also did eventually happen to David Gilmour, didn’t it? The correct verse is “red the light and dark the night”. I am amazed by the fact that such a simple (only four chords) but beautiful composition could be taken out of Roger Waters’ head and later be enhanced by the rest of the band in the studio, and of course i love their live versions. Masters!
