Started playing in 73. Mom had record. Should have learned it. Just heard on radio. Saw this. Perfect. I got this. Thanks a bunch. Literally perfect. Excellent mix. Subbed. This is a a top notch Channel. -☀️
You’re very welcome. It’s one of a thousand tunes I inherited from my parents. I love seeing it still being loved… and loved by all ages. All the best, mate!
The Whole Piece Is Excellently Crafted. There were several small parts in the rhythm section I never played, it feels better to have them in place & the lead is spot on. - Sparky Guitar is my go to guy from now on. God Bless & Thank You.
First 2 bars of the tab don't have the open E string quaver but Sparky plays it anyway. Tiny detail, but that is what I like about this vid. All the detail is great. Easy to follow, easy to learn from, dude has skillz. Thanks.
Hi David... good spot! If I remember correctly the open E is either really quiet or not played for the first 2 bars. So I think I tabbed it correctly... and then played in incorrectly! I must have got into such a habit of playing it with the open E. Thanks for the comment though - super appreciated!
First solo was pretty easy to learn, however..the second is tougher but doable. You can just solo along with the whole song in Bm and have a blast. Or just play along using the chords and riffs. Either way its a piece of candy playing for a guitarist.
Man your tone is good. I thought the solo would look more hard (it probably still is hard to learn) but it at least looks manageable. thanks for the upload!
It's a really interesting idea... and I was thinking about the same thing yesterday. The challenge is doing it in a way that doesn't make it more confusing. Best I could come up with was to put 5 bars of tab on (say bars 1-5)... but change it after bar 4... replacing it with bars 5-9.... and changing it again after bar 8. That way you would always see 1 more bar that you need. Would that help.... or confuse the hell out of people??
Great work, but I think DG did not use a strat for this song. I would say that he actually used the Bill Lewis guitar through the entire song, which might be contrary to the popular believe.
Greatest playing and your tab!!(I'm sorry for my poor English.) I love the refrain of guitar and base in this song. Btw, I can't find 22nd fret on my guitar, very terrible... oh...
Hi Joseph. The rhythm parts are just an amp with a little reverb... but the solos are a Big Muff and some delay... and reverb. Hope that helps... and good luck with the talent show!
Damn, I really want to learn this, or to even how to play a guitar, but I never have enough motivation. I don't even have an electric guitar, just acoustic
Hi there! What's stopping you? We all start somewhere... and anyone can play guitar.... it just comes down to putting the practice in. Go on.... have a go!
Look at it this way dude, do you think the most successful people in life sat around saying "I don't have enough motivation"? NO... they got their ass up and put their minds all in on what they wanted to do no matter how they felt, whether they thought it would work out in their favor or not... you can't be afraid of failure or not being good enough man... There's nothing stopping you from doing whatever you want in life, the only thing stopping you, is yourself... If you truly want to learn, save up some cash and get a cheap squier and amp (i recommend boss katana) just start slow and play what you want to play, don't let theory or anything complicated stand in your way either... You can do it bro, anyone can as long as they believe in themselves, this goes for more than just learning guitar, it should be a life lesson... You clearly want to learn, so just fucking do it :)
@JoshFi i've spent about 1 years to learn guitar on acoustic before i got my first electric guitar and i realize that i never use guitar pick before and i force myself to practice using guitar pick from beginning, i have a hard time using pick at beginning but its getting better now
I'm not sure! I need to go back and pull out the presets and put on the website (sparkyguitar.com). But this was quite a while ago and I've completely forgotten. Sorry!
Definitely the tabs doesn't follow the music in tact 15 (as noted on tabs...). Sparky Guitar, can you please adjust tabs? Anyway, great job and video from you. Thanks
Hi there. If it's like a delay then It's most likely an issue at your end. Some devices/browsers can do weird things from time to time. It's definitely fine from my end... and no issues reported in the 300,000 views so far!

Had no idea how similar the bass line and lead guitar were for this song. Keep up the great work 👍🏼

The main riff is so fun to play. Can't wait to learn the rest 😅

Do you have tab for the cash register sound effects and coin droppings?!
I bet it's out there somewhere... I'm sure someone is daft enough to have done that!!
Lo ideal para practicar
❤
0:40 this part of the tab is different from what you're playing
correct... but can't change it now!
@SparkyGuitar George Lucas it
It's missing the solo part of rythm guitar...
Dude you have captured Gilmour's guitar tone to the T. Beautifully played as well!👍👍
what is the effect in the beginning? is a tremolo?
Correct!
So is this in e standard or no? If it’s in a different key I’ll tune it to that
All the song in E standard tune
@@franciscojavierbarriosbabi5190 but notice that you do have to do an INSTANT guitar change for the solo. Still working on that.

i need the name of the guitar that plays the solo
It's a MusicMan Axis Super Sport...

Brilliant, I just covered this, let me know you think. I also left a like, well done
Nice work Liam! Gilmour makes it look easy... but it's really hard to get accurate bends on his solos... and you nailed it. Nice tone too!
What guitars is that?
MusicMan Axis Supersport... simply beautiful guitar. So nice to play!
Mistake at 15 tact? Maybe another riff like 19 tact?

B minor

This solo might seem easy but it s quite difficult to give the sense
Agreed. Gilmours solos have so much feeling and voice to them, it's hard to replicate-for me at least.
Ok just gimmi 5 minutes...good thing I know the bm scale
Pink Floyd with a Van Halen's guitar ?
Not quite the Van Halen model... it's the Axis SuperSport rather than the Axis (with the Floyd Rose etc). But pretty close!
@@SparkyGuitar Ok, thanks !
what if only have 21 frets like a strat
...then you have a legitimate reason to buy a new guitar! No alternative I'm afraid!
I had to bend my b’s and e’s extra hard to hit those notes that my 21 fret guitar couldn’t hit on its own 😬
wtf? that is a bass tab
Not really. Gilmour actually plays the same line as the bass...
You moron. Use your ears.
Technically amazing, but i miss the feeling in the solo 😕
Oh well…
