Gilmour’s tone in this is up there with some of the best guitar tone I’ve had to pleasure to hear.

In case anybody is wondering how to get the guitar sound at the start, Gilmour is using a metal screwdriver or pliers to slide over each fret played.
Just use a slide
@@bhjkldfgh5665 you could but something with a handle is much easier to use as you can move it like it is a bow on the string. Also I've found that a slide doesn't sound as good probably because it is hollow
@@thepandorica1David is using a tonebar, which is just a solid guitar slide, which you can hold and bow your strings with. He's clearly not using pliers or a screwdriver to play the parts in the beginning.
I know that a lot of you are waiting for Pt. 2. But here’s my problem: I don‘t make the trascriptions by myself (as I‘ve already said in a comment). I order a transcription via fiverr and the I make the video. But because I‘m just a Student, I don‘t have the money for it at the moment. I dicided to make a Moneypool (PayPal) to collect the money. So feel free to fund it. It‘s not for me it‘s just for getting a really professional transcription.

Part two should be mostly discernable from this tab..although i get and completely understand thats its nice to have a proper transcription to work from for each piece..
I myself play most of the instruments that are tracked here so I'd also dig Richard Wights performance notes in guitar tab and standard notation too!!
@@dyangordon6151 I could upload the complete Piano/Organ of Pt. 1 if you want. And I don‘t want to make Pt 2 until I have a detailed transcription. There are already some semi good tabs of Pt. 2 on Ultimate Guitar, so I‘ll wait till I have the detailed tab to upload the video.
@@benmahr that would be really cool but I know that would be some feat..I think wrights playing underneath the guitars are great...I intend to contribute to your pay pal for the other transaction as this is such a masterpiece and its important to understand its component parts.
@@dyangordon6151 would be very cool. I will upload the Piano Score of Pt. 1 in the next days. I always wanted to do so, but there hasn‘t really been an interest until now. But I can say that the Piano Part is still incredibly accurate but not as good as the bass and guitar transcription.
I just think that a professional transcription is it worth. (sry for the bad english, I‘m from Germany, but I think you know what I mean)
Ok, a quick update to the piano score video: I‘m very busy at the moment. After the release of the Pt. 2 Guitar and Bass video i will make the piano score video. I‘m so sorry, that i have forgotten that.

Long Answer: I realy thought about that topic. The Problem is, that i realy pay a lot of money for these transcriptions, so i want to be the "owner" of it. I‘m planing to do a website, were you can buy the GP Tabs, so that this won‘t be a loosing buisness. So you need to wait a little bit.
