The Road Warriors aka Legion of Doom was/is my all time favorite tag team. Whenever they wrestled you knew it was going to be an all out war. Best team ever hands down
The road warriors are my most fav tag team of all time.
I grew up watching the LOD & loved every min of it, they were both badass. Rip Hawk & Animal.
Road Warriors/ LOD they are the best tag team of all time in my book. From there signature moves to they look they were awesome tag team.
RIP to both of these guys they changed the tag team game in wrestling for real.

When I saw Heidenrich it reminded me of the story Ricky Steamboat and Finlay told about them going to get him from the hospital after a car wreck. The doctor said he was fine and could leave but he said he wanted to stay cause he liked the food so they left him there. Steamboat said Heidenrich's mom called him and complained about leaving her son at the hospital lol
Road Warriors, Steiner Brothers, Sting & Lex Luger, Doom, Earthquake & Typhoon, Kane & Undertaker, Powers of Pain, the Wild Somoans and a few more are the best tag teams ever in wrestling history.
The Barbarian was this big scary dude on TV…but such a likeable class act in real life. Cool dude.
The RW, Steiner's, Midnight and Rock and Roll, Harlem 🔥, Edge and Christian, the Dudley's, Nasty boys, Demolition, Heart Foundation, British bulldogs, are some of the best ever. Amongst more 🍻

Hawk was a great single wrestler. I was at the Bunk House Stampede PPV in Long Island. Hawk wrestle Flair for the world title. They should of continued to push Hawk
I’ve always felt that way too about Hawk. He had all the skills as a single wrestler, but Hawk had the golden ticket with Road Warriors.

yankees29, I guess. NWA used them a lot. Not sure what place it took. Look up Hawk vs. Rambo in the CWA, you see what he could have done given the chance.
Ellering, as I recall, once held the Minnesota deadlift record. Those were the early days of Jerry Jones, and the start of many a major anabolic cycle....
Jones was always nice to me after his powerlifting meets, as he asked for people to help tear down the platform and haul the plates and such to the truck or trailer. Jerry Jones, despite his reputation, was always appreciative for help after those meets. He seemed almost shy, in fact. I never met Paul Ellering or Hawk. Animal, Joe, was, in my brief experience, a gentle and “ordinary” person.
And “The Baron” was a teacher and former Olympic wrestler. He was a very kind and gentle older man after the play put on about his life at the Minnesota History Theater several years ago.
Beyond the stage makeup and voice work, these were people... Pretty much like other folk...only LARGER and OVER THE TOP!!

Buzz Sawyer was also a member of the original LOD. I remember watching the Road Warriors when they had their first match on Georgia Championship Wrestling tv show. Just to think, if Matt Bourne hadn't screwed a minor we may have never had a Road Warriors.
Forever a fan of Jake the Snake and the Road Warriors. However, cant help but wonder how much drugs and booze the three shared. Amazingly, Jake is still alive and Animal's girth probably allowed him to hold his liquor the best. RIP Hawk though that man was not afraid of anyone except Meng

So dope to see Jake Roberts back. I remember being 3 or 4 and turning the tv on saturday morning and seeing him and Roddy Piper and completely fell head over heels for Wrestling. I spent every weekend at the Coral outside the dome and watched WCW religiously. WWF died with Owen Hart and wouldnt be paid to watch it to this day but The Hannibal TV is the perfect platform and you host all my childhood heroes and bring me back to my fondest memories of my father before he passed. Kinda corny but i do want to thank The HANNIBAL Tv. Your the true Ambassador or Presidente of Canadien Wrestling, what you do is beautiful to have your dream stolen and than to rise so far above it. I love your channel and respesct you

I was a small child but was really into wrestling when they came to Louisville dad would take me and being kin to one we would go in back we're they was at it really blew my mind to meet some of this people sitting at the table drinking coffee and what stuck out in my mind these two guys hated each other on the ring but in back they was friends dad would never tell me it was all planned out so I would ask him about it when we got back on the car he always said oh they just made up he didn't wanna tell me that it was fake that word never came up it was like a bad word you didn't say wrestlers I met was people like Jackie Fargo Jerry Jarrett tojo the greens Rocky Johnson I still watch the old wrestling seemed to be when it was so much better it's gotten out of just wrestling to much sparkel and glam today

Hey Devon. I hope all is well Fam. I have a Question. And I will hey Flack for it, but it's a Real question, no disrespect bit it needs to be asked. I'm watching Raw 98. I heard Hawk could be 2 Sided. He had his demons. We all do.. not hating g hin for that, my man 2 Cold Scorpio said he Forgave Hawk, bit I'm watching Raw 98, and they are playing out that scenario where Hawk is supposed to be all F'ed up or whatever and its supposed to be his fault the team os breaking up. I never liked that storyline. To personal... then we take a look at how they Wrestled, and how they were praised.. But WWE hates The Ultimate Warrior, and they pretty much Wrestled the same way. Also, Aninal is the Brother of Laurenitis. Why do they always play it up like Hawk was the toxic 1. You never hear anything bad about animal, ots like they did with Laurenitis. I just do t like the Hypocrisy that is shown. I know they are both gone. Looking back at ot now. I get very upset for Jim and for Mike. Am I wrong for feeling that way? For having empathy for these 2 men who were trying to feed their families.. yet the Company they worked for, and one guy's own Tag partner was selling him out on national Television. Please share your thoughts... Cause I cant find any shoot where a wrestler says they disnt agree with it, or even questions Animal's character. RIP to all parties. 🙏🙏🙏. I hope all is well ☝️

Paul Elring stated in Dark side of the ring that Hawk got with the idea from He-Man like Jake mentions, while on the road Hawk would make up stories involving themselves like an episode or comic book
I watched the other video you had. I understand The Road Warriors were not Olympic wrestlers. however, in the world of professional wrestling you don't need to be an Olympian to earn and be over with the paying public. Hulk Hogan was bigger than life. A huge man with a sun tan and chiseled body. He had two moves. Big boot and leg drop. But he was bigger than life. Stevie Ray had comments. Harlem Heat was never as popular as the Road Warriors. Junkyard Dog was another larger than life individual. Was he a great wrestler like an Olympian or college champion? Heck no. However, the Junkyard Dog was on the event schedule you couldn't wait. It is what it is. Larger than life sells. It's said about Michael Jordan that the only two things that could stop him were Dean Smith and Baseball. When all these folks came to the WWF Vince McMahon stopped them and disrespected them. The Road Warriors were treated badly. Junkyard Dog was like a cartoon character. Dusty Rhodes and his polka dots. Kerry Von Erich was another one. Tully and Arn didn't stay long either. Weren't the Midnight Express offer and declined? Pro Wrestling is a real mess
