What in the hell is Black Bart talking about? He keeps contradicting himself and is possibly the most discursive conversationalist I’ve seen in theses shoot videos! He must have had a bit too much Moonshine before his interview.
She sure did act like she really liked Ric Flair. When the guy asked her about Ric she just had the biggest smile on her face like she was thinking of Space Mountain or something.....lol
Gotta say, after listening to Greg valentine s stories, I am more appreciative of his work. Greg the hammer is now in my top ten wrestlers of all time, and not ranked 10th.
I just watched the match that Greg Valentine was talking about, when he broke Flair’s nose with the cane. It wasn’t against Ole and Blackjack,it was against Jimmy Snuka and the Iron Sheik.
Why is Manny so upset with or so rubbed the wrong way by Flair? Life bro if you don't like Flair, if you think their were better champions, if you think he did this, that, or the other wrong i completely understand. Everyone is going to have different opinions of someone based on their own personal experiences but bro you just called Ric Flair, "the worst champion of all time." When you say that you're saying that Vince Russo was a better champion. You're saying that David Arquette was a better champion. I mean during this same time WCW had multiple champs that only had the belt for like 1 day lol, and is it wasn't 1 day then it was like 4. I mean they made The Giant aka Big Show after less than a handful is matches and he had no idea what to do other than pray that he didn't hurt anyone lol.... how in God's name can Flair be worse than the writer, the b movie actor, and the guy who's only here because he's big and he has less experience than most of the kids setting up the ring? Lololol 😅😅😅
people never realize just how much fame changes people, one minute you are eating spam sandwiches and counting change to get to the next match and the next thing you know women are throwing their panties at you on the way back to the dressing room. It takes alot of character to stay humble and not lose sight of who you really are. Not to mention the excesses you see around you and your buddies are all doing drugs and drinking and the women. I met Michael PS Hayes in the Dallas airport, i was 14 at the time so this was around 1985. I was in there playing street fighter on my way home for the Christmas Holidays and this person said, "hey man can i play you ?", i looked up and it was Hayes, he was really cool and played a game or two with me and signed a napkin i had at the time. He did not have to do that but he made a fan for life, great guy with a huge heart. Bless you Michael Hayes for being a bigger then life role model to a 14 year old boy!
I couldn’t understand a single thing that he was talking about! Either he drank a lot of moonshine before the interview or he’s had one too many chair shots to the head. Maybe he was just born with a brain cell deficiency. It could be all three. Regardless, he is the most discursive conversationalist I’ve ever seen in these shoot interviews.
Lex is great, he always puts over all these guys that do never do anything but shit on him when asked about lex. For someone so apparently full of themselves and arrogant he’s certainly either born again or just misunderstood. He always mentions how the other stars made him what he was.
he admits himself in some other interviews and shoots that he didnt respect the industry and people back in the wcw days and when he started out i think people like Bishoff, Savage, Hart, Piper and others use to say that, but he's defiantly alot better now as a person.
He was pushed hard and fast because of his amazing body and at first, he didn't know how to wrestle properly. You have to trust the other guy with literally your life in this business and lex didn't understand that you have to really look out for the guy doing a job for you. Later in life, lexx really got humbled and I couldn't be prouder of the emotional progress he has made. The tradegy of miss Elizabeth and his crippling injuries....he could have been another tale of woe in the industry, but he tries to warn people about drugs and alcohol and he is very giving of his time to fans.

Back in the early days Ric didn't have the same matches every night.....but anyways people want to say Ric Flair had the same matches every night well I can say that Hulk Hugan pretty much had the same matches every night he would always point that big finger at you and shake it and the opponent would hit Hulk Hogan 5 or 6 times and wouldn't even hurt Hogan and then Hogan would do the big leg drop it was the same moves over and over. And really Hogan never really wrestled in his matches as long as Ric Flair did ...but whatever people gonna say anything.

Not one wrestler from the 70's 80's and 90's think that there is any talent in wrestling today they are right there isn't Orton and Cena are the last 2 and they are being treated like jokes and they are allowing it.
Bam bam talked junk about Ric Flair not growing up but yet bam bam never grow up either cause he died from his his carelessness of drugs and not growing up.....but hey I'm not judging bam bam did that.
@@matthewvarnam4302 Bam Bam was a great big guy who was agile and a great wrestler, I cannot judge him for his actions out of the ring, but the last major thing he was remembered for was getting seriously burned saving life's?, Think he also had a lot of serious injuries which contributed to his issues he had. As for talking trash, he didn't, he told Flair to grow up which is exactly right, Flashing your knob whilst pissed up etc.
And dont forget the classic "I'm the Best thing going today!" "If you dont like it? You'd better learn to love it!" And of course "When the Marquis outside says Ric Flair? You know you're going to see the best Wrestler in the World!!"
Flair is nothing more then a lime light hog I hate flair have always hated flair he needs to go into a senior citizen home and take his Geritol . Idk how he could ever be considered the best all he had was a figure 4 and a chop bash me all you want but flair sucks !!
@@williamchick Yea he's overrated for sure and most of his great sayings were not his originally. One thing he was and is great at is selling. The delayed face-plant is the best thing ever. 😂
@@williamchick love him or hate him, he lived his gimmick to the fullest. And he could draw love or heat as good or better than anybody else in the buisness. He was the gimmick.
Saw Flair vs Luger in Greensboro at Wreslewar and I got to meet him at a mobile home convention my Dad helped put together. The only thing better than watching Flair work was meeting him in real life. He was bigger than life! GOAT
Which one? Because there was a "Gashouse" Doug Gilbert who enjoyed WWWF Undercard success in The Sixties in addition to Doug Gilbert, Eddie's brother, who appeared frequently in The USWA years of Memphis and very early on in the infancy of ECW. And Eddie's Brother Doug appeared in one "Royal Rumble" in "The Attitude Era."🤔🎤🎼🎸🤼♂️B.W.
"Hes a lyin two-faced dog....thats a shoot" 😂 i will say the 3 wrestlers i always wanted to sit and have story time with were always Flair, Randy Savage and Taker. I'll never get that with Randy but hey the other 2 could happen one day (hopefully sooner than later in Flair's case).
Ric Flair is a class act period, he was big on comoradary between the boys. Didnt matter if you were midcard or top didn't matter Ric always wanted to include everyone, he treated everyone with respect if you were one of the boys! Nowadays its a shadow of what it used to be, the boys don't even travel together really anymore, nobody watches each others match they are backstage playing PS4 or Xbox or they shower and get the hell out of there once their spot is over, not critiscm or helping out other guys or girls on what they could do different or what looked good and they should roll with no those days are gone
Most people, as they age, just look older, more worn out, and more broken down. There are a few people, however, where as they age they just look more like a grizzled hard-ass and they just look like those extra years have just taught them more ways to rip someone apart. Sid is one of those lucky few.
Bitter comments from a has been who never did much with his career. WCW died because of Flair? LOL. WCW was burying Flair when they started to go downhill. Two things killed WCW: 1) never building up the young talent that they had (Austin, Jericho, and others...were in WCW but made it big in WWE); 2) the ran the NWO angle way too long and fans got bored.
@@otherstar1 like when flair was holding back when he held the power in wcw. Wrestling the same spots walking around naked in his robe whipping out his dick being an embarrassment to himself his family and the business.
What's weird about Manny Fernandez is you have to specify which one. There are a Professional Journalist, A Hockey Player, and a member of The 1972 Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins who go by that name. Very ironically the Pro Wrestler Manny Fernandez feuded very violently in The AWA with Wahoo McDaniel who made a name for himself in The AFL days with the selfsame Dolphins before he became a Pro Wrestler!🤔😂🎤🏒🏈📰🐬🤼♂️B.W.
Black Bart lol! What a legend. Listening to him is painful though. "yeah see..yeah see...I....I....I.. yeah know.....what....what....what I saw...." Lolol
Riki Johnson, who was Ashley's ex-husband, beat the holy hell out of the Nature Boy in an altercation, leaving him bloody and with a huge black eye. Ashley got arrested following her father's horrific beatdown.
A few of the biggest things I’ve learned from these shoot interviews- Hogan, Flair and Russo are the biggest liars in wrestling and Black Bart drinks too much moonshine! Did anyone understand what the hell he was talking about?
@Vince Williams Good luck! I speak hillbilly ( half of my family is from the Appalachian Mountain in Kentucky) and I can’t decipher a damn thing he’s saying.
@Vince Williams Lol. My parents drug me to bars when I was a kid too! My dad is a singer songwriter and played in a Bluegrass band. I was in bars until the sun came up when I was a kid! Nice to find someone that’s been through the same thing. My dad made some moonshine and got so jacked up the first time he drank it he was out in the snow in his underwear calling pigs!
@@macdaddy1149 some hilarious shit right here 🤣😂 also lol sorry I’m still laughing and imagining this. Also to be in bars until sunup as a kid sounds cool, especially if it was like a blues bar that had seriously good music. Hell yeah I could dig it. Back then no one would mess with you knowing who you were etc
All i got was some guy died and he thought he already died 10 yrs before but he didnt and Bart, the dead guy and someone else were supposed to get a show on Fox but Flair went to Ted Turner and said if they got a show he'd leave so basically Flair screwed them over. And the next thing i understood was "He aint my friend because I'll never forget what he did but hes my work companion." Lol yea thats about all i got 😂
Mac Daddy: Sounds like your Daddy and the late great Dick Murdoch would've gotten along very well. "Captain Redneck" himself cut a Classic unparalleled Promo in the frosty climes for Jim Cornette's Company in Knoxville, Tennessee!😂🎤🎼🎸🌬❄⛰🤼♂️B.W.
Yes he did. Ric Flair broke his back in 3 different places in Wilmington North Carolina and that's why he always did the Flair flop. I lived 30 minutes away from Wilmington N.C. I was born in New Hanover County city of Wilmington so yeah I know for a fact that this happened.... Greg Valentine lied about Ric Flair never broke his back. I guess he was upset that Ric was a bigger draw for money and not himself.
He’s a good guy underneath. I met him at the Hilton hotel in Harrisburg Pennsylvania after they did the show at Hershey Park ArenaI think it was a Saturday Nights Main Event. I don’t remember who he wrestled that night... it might’ve been Savage ... Regardless, I walked up to him and introduced myself and asked him how long he had been wrestling. He initially asked me if I was writing a book and I turned my back on him and walked over and watched the band on stage. He eventually walked up to me with a beer and handed it to me and started a conversation. I don’t think he was trying to be cocky or arrogant, I just think he was trying to keep up his heel appearance in the face of a wrestling fan. After he talked to me and realized I was going to Wrestling school at the time, we had a nice conversation. He was very cordial and when I didn’t realize at the time is when I went up to him he was standing right next to Ted Dibiase, and I didn’t even recognize it and then when I woke up the next day I realized who it was and I felt horrible. Regardless, it was still that kind of time in the industry where everybody thought it was real. After he realized that I was getting into the business, he lightened up and talked to me for a bit. It was a nice night. Something I’ll never forget. That was like 1992 or something. Whenever he was in WWF. What I hear, he very often will walk into a bar and buy the entire bar drinks all night. Seems like a very genuine guy, especially now that the business has been exposed.
Sid said he was a main eventer and drew more $$$ than Ric Flair. LMAO !!!! Name 1 person that wrestled main event more matches than Flair ........Rhodes wasnt always in main event.....Hogan didnt wrestle near as often as Flair.
I agree with you in terms of 80s and 90s wrestling history, but The Undertaker came and dominated the early 90s WWF into 3 nearly 4 decades. It looks like Roman R. is getting his run now. If WWE can’t find the next big Star; possibly Austin Theory. Roman might break the Main Event record. Time will tell.
Manny is full of shit! Flair would draw a crowd to this very day, jealousy is a ugly thing manny! Ric Flair is the goat of wrestleing without a dought! The few wrestlers that do talk down on flair usually are the ones that are jealous think he got more attention because he kissed ass truth is he out worked them,he was a all around entertainer ,mic ,ring ,he did it all and did it for years plus the 4 horsemen what else can I say
Sid meant that he out drew Flair in total dollars, not fans. He also meant that it was during the specific time frame of "one night when I was on the card and Flair didn't show up. XD
Well really Ric Flair has said that he never had to work a day in his life cause hid mom and dad left him so much money well when he became Ric Flair that we all know and love he develop this high maintenance of lifestyle and being divorced 4 or 5 times well all of that would make a man go broke very fast....if he had never gotten divorced and actually lived that lifestyle outside of the ring he wouldn't be broke.......but anyways Ric Flair is doing pretty good now plus he's got a clothing line out and another thing called The Ric Flair drip so the man is making money again.

Ric Flair The Limousine Riding, Jet Flying Kiss Stealing Wheeling Dealing Sin of a Gun
An don't leave out the Whoo, Whoo,Whoo The Nature boy
GOAT
Yeah he’s the GOAT
Did Doug Gilbert ever accomplish anything outside Memphis?
no
He has accomplished looking like Pugsly from the Addams Family LOL dude looks like a j-brone straight up
How do you leave out the Stinger!???🤷♂️🤦♂️
Ric Flair is a class act period, he was big on comoradary between the boys. Didnt matter if you were midcard or top didn't matter Ric always wanted to include everyone, he treated everyone with respect if you were one of the boys! Nowadays its a shadow of what it used to be, the boys don't even travel together really anymore, nobody watches each others match they are backstage playing PS4 or Xbox or they shower and get the hell out of there once their spot is over, not critiscm or helping out other guys or girls on what they could do different or what looked good and they should roll with no those days are gone
Hi Ric!
You guys should do a video of how arn Anderson is in real life.

Well I do
He is undoubtedly one of the the best personalities but I have never been a fan of his actual matches.
Jesse Ventura seems like a parody of himself at this point.
It’s awesome seeing my trainer george south
If they called Manny Fernandez Cemento it's not because of his punches it's because of his brain, he's a blockhead'
Most people, as they age, just look older, more worn out, and more broken down. There are a few people, however, where as they age they just look more like a grizzled hard-ass and they just look like those extra years have just taught them more ways to rip someone apart. Sid is one of those lucky few.
Black bart needs to cut back on the moonshine. Lol
He told me he had 143 speeding tickets hahaha holy shit
USMC man I love Black Bart my dude
Black Bart “ I was the same level as flair” 🤦♂️😂😂😂
Lol. Not in a million years
Manny Fernandez is full of salt.
Biggest A- hole ever
and Hep C from blading Abdullah the butcher
What's weird about Manny Fernandez is you have to specify which one. There are a Professional Journalist, A Hockey Player, and a member of The 1972 Super Bowl Champion Miami Dolphins who go by that name. Very ironically the Pro Wrestler Manny Fernandez feuded very violently in The AWA with Wahoo McDaniel who made a name for himself in The AFL days with the selfsame Dolphins before he became a Pro Wrestler!🤔😂🎤🏒🏈📰🐬🤼♂️B.W.
I want that watch.
Black Bart lol! What a legend. Listening to him is painful though. "yeah see..yeah see...I....I....I.. yeah know.....what....what....what I saw...." Lolol
what is Manny Fernandez referring to when he mentions Flair getting beat up by a 20-yr old guy ?
Randy Orton
Riki Johnson, who was Ashley's ex-husband, beat the holy hell out of the Nature Boy in an altercation, leaving him bloody and with a huge black eye. Ashley got arrested following her father's horrific beatdown.
That's what it was Ashleys ex
...not Randy Orton !!
39:08 for future listening
If I got to sit down and have a beer with sid or flair??Hands down it would be FLAIR....
Doug Gilbert was right...Ric Flair was for Ric Flair...still is n 2024
George your holding on to something you never had
This makes me miss rowdy piper…rip Rowdy
If Black Bark ever kissed anybody on the lips, there would have been a real fight, I hope...😀😶😀
Sherri was so crazy beautiful right until the end of her life ❤️❤️❤️🥲🥲🥲
It cracks me up when they refer to how many titles they have won or sell outs they were responsible for....🤠🤣🤣
Love Stevie!!!
Why is the NWA world title behind Black Bart?
He won it after WCW started
No he didn't win the NWA world title he is a former WCCW world champion
Brandon look up his bio he NEVER won the NWA world title he is a former NWA national champion
@@ricardobullock9519 ok never heard of him
A few of the biggest things I’ve learned from these shoot interviews-
Hogan, Flair and Russo are the biggest liars in wrestling and Black Bart drinks too much moonshine! Did anyone understand what the hell he was talking about?
@Vince Williams
Good luck! I speak hillbilly ( half of my family is from the Appalachian Mountain in Kentucky) and I can’t decipher a damn thing he’s saying.
@Vince Williams
Lol.
Flair actually broke his back in three places, not two.
So you met him once, as a customer, and you feel confident in knowing him better than guys who were around him daily for years?....
Stevie Ray looks like Booker and Eddie Murphy had a swole kid
LMFAO! Stevie Ray is a funny guy!!
Why are most shoot interviews shot like snuff films?
Cuz they’re killing folks with how hard they bury some of their peers.
Sid said he was a main eventer and drew more $$$ than Ric Flair. LMAO !!!! Name 1 person that wrestled main event more matches than Flair ........Rhodes wasnt always in main event.....Hogan didnt wrestle near as often as Flair.
Sid said since HE was in the business. He was referring to the 90s, when Flair was no longer main event that often.
The undertaker
Sid is a guy who was never as big in reality as he was in his own mind...but he could have and should have been.
I am a Ric Flair fan also but to me Sid was the man! I respect your opinion. And respect to you also.
nice they interview a jobber at 32:48
Is Sherri saying Flair took her to Space Mountain??? 🤔🤔🤔
Black Bart!!!??? Manny Fernandez!!!!?!? Couldn't draw a dime!!!! Guy's couldn't touch Flair let's be real people!!!
Kevin Owens seems like the coolest guy ever
@X Ray CM Punk mark you are
31:50 The guy he was trying to think of was Alan Iron Eagle, not "High Chief Peter North", as the dopey interviewer said 🤣
Manny is full of shit!
This was my exact thoughts and pretty much what I was going to say but you nailed it so no need for me to . Whoooo
Manny was so stiff in the ring -- none of us wanted to work with him.
Lex Luger used to be a stiff wrestler one time he busted Berry windham's head open with his elbow and he got stitches.
Lol I thought Doug Gilbert was an old Asian man until I herd him speek
Sid saying he out drew flair 100x is the biggest lie in wrestling history.
I guess some just choose their own realities that are far from actual reality. Sid is clearly one of them.
Sid meant that he out drew Flair in total dollars, not fans. He also meant that it was during the specific time frame of "one night when I was on the card and Flair didn't show up. XD
@@jamesthe-doctor8981 Anyway you count it Flair outgrew Flair. Not even Sid's wife would believe this.
@@rolltide9547 lol do I really need to drop the “r/wooosh” comment here?😂 I tried to make the joke very obvious.
@Don 007 You only missed that by 180,000. He main events North Korea with 190,000.
I can't believe for 40 plus years in the business and he's completely broke
Well really Ric Flair has said that he never had to work a day in his life cause hid mom and dad left him so much money well when he became Ric Flair that we all know and love he develop this high maintenance of lifestyle and being divorced 4 or 5 times well all of that would make a man go broke very fast....if he had never gotten divorced and actually lived that lifestyle outside of the ring he wouldn't be broke.......but anyways Ric Flair is doing pretty good now plus he's got a clothing line out and another thing called The Ric Flair drip so the man is making money again.
What the hell is black Bart saying. LOL
Boy, I wish I knew what Black Bart was talking about.🤔
Manny is one of many that are choking on an empty jealous grudge of a guy that was the total package
If Lex says "And uh" one more time I'm gonna throw my phone out the window 🤦💯
I'm much the same with the amount of times RF says 'Wow!'
Haha. In the Scott Steiner interviews he says "ya know" every sentence
Did you ever go retrieve your phone?? Lol
Then never watch an Undertaker interview with all of his hundreds of "You know" moments!
🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. I know right? It was Lex's sentence filler lol
