QUALITY OF BRITISH MODEL RAILWAY SHOWS IS BECOMING INCREASINGLY REMISS !!! Sadly very few proper "Model Railways". Indeed it's also becoming more and more apparent that today's modellers, do no research, so make serious mistakes with: Signalling, Electrification both overhead and third rail, and even a failure to comprehend the basic rules of freight train formation. Freight had different types of brakes, Air or Vacuum brakes, or even NO brakes (unfitted). Which required the correct type of loco to match. And further (from 1950) BR painted wagons Grey to indicate they were "unfitted", and bauxite to indicate they were "vacuum" braked (fitted). Which explains why so much shunting was required in virtually every Goods Yard at nearly every station in Britain up until the late 1970's !!!
You comment the same thing on multiple videos. Many of these layouts are not professional layouts, purely people enjoying their hobby. In the end, it is their layout they can do what they want!
I enjoyed this video. A good show, with a variety of layouts.
Nice video. Was a very good weekend with a terrific amount of scales, eras and styles represented. I was there with Moor Boxes, thanks for filming!

Maybe you could show us how to do it, maybe a video of something you’ve built ?
